I've been to Bagel Brothers a number of times over the years and they are consistent. Their everything bagels have barely any seeds on them, there is always a line, service is good, and everything has good flavor. This is not my favorite bagel shop in the area but it's one of the only ones close for the people who live over here. I've had worse and I've had better, Bagel Brothers is middle of the road for bagels on Long Island. read more

I come here because the food is good. The prices are ok and the staff is friendly. They always get the order correct and I do appreciate that. With that being said, sometimes in life you must close your eyes at what you see, this place needs a good deep down cleaning. Floors are disgusting and bathroom door is filthy so it is a visual turn off. read more

I've been coming to bagel brothers for the last 7 years at least. I drive from Patchogue to get their bagels because they are the best. I just looked up to see the hours because I'm writing this on a holiday and see some of the reviews. 7 years!. Maybe 2 or 3 times a mistake on an order which they corrected no problem. Place is fantastic and bagels have so much flavor without being incredibly over seeded. I highly recommend you try bagel brothers. That is if you like good tasting bagels.. read more

Bagel Brothers in Holbrook, NY Average food, and service. Muffins are not fresh, they have been sitting there for at least a day or two. Recommended that they should do a sale at the end of the day so they would have fresh inventory in the morning for customers. They need extra bodies in the back to help out before opening. read more

I'm not sure what kind of chicken they served me, but I wouldn't feed it to a stray dog. I went yesterday expecting a decent lunch, and what I got was a rubber textured monstrosity masquerading as a chicken cutlet on a roll. It was chewy, grayish, and had that reheated in a shoe flavor that screamed microwaved "meat" more than freshly cooked anything. Fast forward a few hours, and both me and my fiance were laid out with nausea, stomach pain, and full blown food poisoning symptoms. I've had better meals from a gas station, literally. The fact that this place would serve this is honestly disgusting. Either they don't care, or they need to take a hard look at their food safety practices. If I wanted to gamble with my digestive system, I'd eat raw chicken in a parking lot not pay for it at a deli. I never feel compelled to leave a review, but this ruined my 4th of July weekend as I'm still sick and I am truly shocked I was served/paid for this. To be fair, I have gone here for breakfast before and it was delicious. Just do yourself a favor and DO NOT GET ANYTHING BUT AN EGG SANDWICH!! Disgusted read more

Great sandwiches and quick service. Place was clean and organized. Bagels are yummy and soft

Absolutely obsessed with this place. My fiancé & I get breakfast from here every Sunday. Our thing is to try different delis and bagel places and rank them. Bagel Brothers is a 10/10! All of the employees are super sweet and personable too, which is a plus. Highly recommend!! read more

Waited 15+ minutes in an empty store for just an AVERAGE bacon, egg and cheese. 6/10.

Awful bagels. Do not come here, the bagels are so bad. The everything bagel I ordered had like 2 seeds on it. Unacceptable.

What a good place to get a egg sandwich from it was quick you get a tea or coffee with it and the sand which is amazing and what I asked for S.E.C. fried S.P.K hot sauce and avocado on a whole west wrap absolutely nailed it guys coffee also is good and pricing is not bad I got this sandwich and a monster with a free small coffee for 12 bucks read more

Update 8/29/17: Take a look at how undercooked the bagels were this morning! So disgusting!! I don't get it! This place has so much potential but they just don't know how to cook their bagels. They are practically raw, so much dough. Tip: let them cook another 5 mins they would be so much better. On to the egg sandwiches, really the only thing I'll ever get here. For the most part they are ok although lately they've been over cooking the eggs. Eggs should never be brown unless someone asks for them that way. Gross. Service: There are quite a few people that just shouldn't be working here one in particular is just so rude. She appears to be in so much pain (like how dare you come and order an egg sandwich) and forget about it if you use a credit card to pay, you'll definitely get a huff and an eye roll. read more

If a bagel shop can't even make a toasted buttered bagel correctly, there's a problem. Was really craving a toasted buttered bagel this morning so I stopped in and ordered one. I got to my car and opened it up, the bagel looked and felt like it was toasted for 30 seconds, it was barely even warmed. He put a small glob of butter in the middle that didn't even cover the bagel, barely even melted that's how much he didn't toast the bagel. Usually I'd just say whatever and drive away, but I don't eat bagels often and I really wanted to enjoy this bagel so I went back in and asked someone else to remake the bagel for me and just toast it and put some butter on it. She asks so you want it extra toasted with extra butter? I said I just want it toasted with a normal amount of butter...like any other place would do. So, of course she has to be sarcastic about it, I get to my car and butter starts pouring out of my bagel all over me and my car. It was a huge mess. Once I finally cleaned up the butter I then had to take napkins and squeeze my bagel to get butter out of. Thankfully I had a bunch of napkins. Was that really necessary? Sorry for just wanting a bagel. read more

Try changing your gloves before handling a customers food!!!!! These people touch money garbage bags scratch there heads face etc. even a employee was smoking outside with his gloves on then goes back behind the counter and helps a customer and prepares the food with the same gloves that he smoked a cigarette touched the entrance door. One employee says the owners don't want us changing gloves all the time cause it costs them a lot of money. So in other words hurray for me and the hell with the customer. Let's get people sick. You need to be out of business. read more

The bagels here are always fresh! They have a large variety to choose from. They are soft on the inside and chewy on the outside. This is just as good as a Brooklyn bagel. The service for me was quick, I never wait and they have plenty of staff that are always friendly. They never got my order wrong, I know a lot of people say they do, but this is the only place I go for fresh bagels. They make bacon the right way with a crunch, and they put a good amount on my sandwich. It says a lot when you do the small things right. I recommend trying it yourself and find out why it's always busy. I really enjoyed the chicken salad. read more

First I need to say this is one of the best bagel places around & very consistent with the quality. I've been coming here for years & has always been pleasant. For the past 6 months or so I've been coming early (4:45am) because I need to be at work by 5:30. The guy I deal with I believe is the owner is Great & has told me it's not a problem to come early for what I need. I understand it's early BUT who ever the older woman is has got to be the hastiest & rudest person I've ever seen. She not only ignores me but then she actually takes the bagels & throws them on the table & then slams them down after she butters them. Well now I have finally had enough abuse from this woman. Sad they just lost $30 a week from me alone. He needs to rethink her serving people & like I said he has always been very nice to me & it's a shame!!! Bill, From Holbrook read more

I entered the store yesterday at 2:50 and noticed a couple stools set on top of the counter. I asked what time were they closing and they said 3:30. I ordered an ice tea and a muffin and noticed it was a mix rather real ice tea. Like really, how hard is it to make real ice tea? I got a coffee and muffin and actually really liked the muffin. The problem is a guy cleaning around me brought out the dirtiest oldest mop I have seen in awhile and was mopping around me. The smell of the water made me want to throw up. It was not a chemical smell but just dirty water. Please understand I sell cleaning chemicals to restaurant and this was not a sales call. No body will stick up for employees cleaning more than me. However can they wait till they close and use clean water? read more

Good, solid bagels; however, this one worker is so unpleasant it makes me want to not go back. If you have been there you will know who I am talking about. Delicious food, quick service and friendly staff! You can't go wrong when you want a bagel, muffin or egg sandwich.

Had not had Bagel Brothers in several months, And was in area so picked up a dozen to go. The bagels were hot and really good. Not the best in the area but good. The place is always crowded any time i have been there. A lot of times i used to go towards the afternoon when they run there daily special on bagels. I believe it was like 3 or 4 dollars a dozen after a certain time i think 2-4pm. They are basically Liquidating what is left for the day. Just call to find out what the special is and when it is from too. The service is fast and friendly and never had any problems there. I have also had eggs & bacon on a roll which is also very good there. read more

Great egg sandwiches. Call in your order to save a long wait. Good local small business

I am an out of towner, from a very quiet small town in NH. If you pop into Bagel Brothers, trust the process. There is method to the madness. Good value for NY - very hot coffee, which I love. Big bagel breakfast sandwiches. I went on a Saturday and it was super busy but they pumped people through and everyone waiting knew the drill. I went again on Sunday, and it was much quieter. Same mad process though, same tasty and quick in and out results. And they took care of this small town greenhorn. read more
