This place is small with more of a deli than bagel store feel. It's right by my old house and I used to stop in a few mornings every month for a bagel and now whenever I'm home. I always get a salt bagel with butter and they have the best salt bagels around. There's a good amount of salt, but not overbearing and not lacking. I also get a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with cream cheese which is awesome as well. Buttered bagel is only 1.50. The brothers here are really nice. I usually see the younger one and he always strikes up a chat with me about the Rangers during hockey season. Also on the weekends they do a dozen bagels for like $5 or $6 which cannot be beat! This place is awesome and they really care about their customers.

What you get when you ask for a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. This place was bad the first time i went. And bad again

Just went in to get a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. The lady didnt even put enough cream cheese on a half of the side of the bagel. And i counted three raisins in the bagel. The owner doesnt care about his business. He needs to just close the doors. There is no way that place is profitable. Oh and the granite is complety cracked near the register. The carpet is dirty. There was no tropicana orange juice, and no bagels on display at 6:05am. Cant see this place in business for much longer

The people here were very friendly but they either put on too much cream cheese or too little. But besides that bagels are great!

I've celebrated a few birthdays here and selected Karver's for my birthday this year- today. Well, I wasn't very impressed today. I ordered the chop salad with steak, which I've had several times over the years. Our meals took maybe 25 minutes to come out. It's a Saturday so I get it. But then they gave me the wrong salad and the steak was tough. I let Oscar know and he put in a new order for the correct salad. My friend was already eating her meal but I had to wait for mine. It came delivered by the female manager and was now the correct salad but the steak was still tough. (Ordered medium) we then ordered dessert to share. We paid the bill and tip but I wasn't really happy with my experience this time. No offer to compensate for the initial wait time, and then the incorrect order. Just feeling kinda meh.

I don't not like places this loud! It is a beautiful restaurant but it was too hard to see anything due to overcrowding. Food was very good. Got Mac n cheese bites, Caesar salad and a cheeseburger. The bartender (Kelly) was not attentive (empty drinks) bc she bar was understaffed. I really think this restaurant has enough staff to pack out the way it does.

The sausage & egg were not large enough for the bagel. This was also one of the more expensive bagel sandwiches I've bought in the area and I don't think the quality matches the price. The place also felt messy and unclean. Maybe the quality and cleanliness would have been better if I got food first thing in the morning, but I don't think I'll be heading back here anytime soon given the other options in the area.

So I made my way over there to try em out. Long Island really rapes you on a bacon egg and cheese, or at least this crap-hole does. Paid something close to $9 and it was god awful. I have a hard time believing this ever could have been good. I see 80-90% of the pix on here are from one dude three years ago, some look good n all, but this place is anything but. Hard pass. Signed - a guy struggling with living on Long Island again.

And it's worth the $25 price tag. All of the food was perfectly executed. My only complaint is that the decor/service/ambiance do not match the high price tag of the food. I'm willing to pay for this level of food but I wish it was in a nicer setting. I didn't even get a steak knife. The open kitchen is very cool.

The restaurant was extremely crowded and very loud. For a table of four, we only ordered two appetizers. Only two of us ordered steaks a 24 oz Prime Porterhouse and a 24 oz Prime Ribeye, both $85. The other two meals were one burger and one chicken sandwich. Our total still came to $359.97 before tip. The steaks were well seasoned and flavorful, but unfortunately cooked unevenly. At $85 each, I expected them to be cooked properly and consistently. The service was also disappointing. We were never offered water, and when we ordered a bottle of wine, they didn't even have enough wine glasses for the table, so some of us had to use champagne glasses. The calamari was delicious, crispy with a little spice, and the wings were juicy and flavorful. Those were probably the best part of the meal. Overall, for nearly $360 before tip for four people with only two steaks, one burger, one sandwich, and two appetizers the experience did not feel worth the price.
