Turkey Reuben

Amazing. Inexpensive. TONS of food. Got a breakfast sandwich, fries (way more than we should have! Nice and crunchy), and a turkey reuben which was unreal. Get it.

Interesting muffin options

Solid bagel sandwich: good egg to meat (pork roll) to cheese ratio. Lots of good cheese, but it didn't feel like too much! However, the bagel could have been more toasted but that's probably on me for not specifying to have a toasty bagel. Big call out from me is that the bagel was very small which made for a smaller sandwich which isn't always fun. The place was decently big inside but not that great to sit in. I'd probably opt for takeout next time. Overall, not a bad sandwich given our West Chester bagel options but a little pricey and a bit small.

Breakfast sandwich

Just moved to the area and was hoping to make this my daily breakfast spot...boy was I disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was a 5/10 at best, overcooked dry eggs, cooked bacon that had been sitting in a warming tray for hours, and a dry tasteless bagel. I made the mistake of adding avocado to my sandwich and was horrified when I opened it up. The avocado I got was rotten and black. I eat a lot of avocados, so I know how they look when they're exposed to air, this was not that. This avocado was so clearly rotten that it was black, certainly not fresh by any means. I don't know how you could possibly serve this to customers in good faith. I also ordered a hash brown that I didn't receive, but still paid for. Icing on the cake! $10 down the drain, next time I'll just got to wawa and get 4 sizzlis for the same price. At least the quality will be better!

Hadn't been to BB for a few years, so I was excited to revisit them. Unfortunately, prices seem to have gone way up from what I remember. It was $17.17 for two chicken salad sandwiches, that's it. No drinks, no cookies, no chips, nothing else, just bagel sandwiches that came with a pickle slice and a little shot of coleslaw. They were very light on the meat too. And I am confused as to why they used broken toothpicks / skewers, with splinters on the end, to hold the sandwich together? Super disappointing. The taste was fine, but not as good as other bagel places, especially for the money. I tried to access their menu in multiple places online beforehand, but couldn't find one anywhere. Now I know why. We'd have passed them up for another lunch spot if we had found the menu with current prices. Very bummed to have gone back to a place I used to really like, for super-overpriced food. This is the outskirts of West Chester, not uptown Manhattan.

I really enjoy coming to the bagel bistro for lunch. The owner is always there making the lunches. The sandwiches are very good, and the portion size is large. I have had the Ruben, and the turkey bacon melt. Both were great ,glad I stumbled onto his place, because it has become a regular stop for me when I am in the area.

The bacon you see is all the bacon there was. Disappointing.

First time.....LAST time. Went for breakfast sandwich to go. They were out of sausage. Bagel selection was scant. Ordered bacon, egg and Swiss on a bagel. I asked for toasted bagel. It was barely warm. Bacon was almost non existent on the sandwich. When you pay $5 for a breakfast sandwich, at least they should get the order

Garlic with cream cheese

We liked this place so much we came twice. The bagels are amazing. I asked for a suggestion and the woman behind the counter suggested garlic and cream cheese... great suggestion. I was skeptical, but it qwas delicious. So was the cream cheese brownie btw. And I'm really picky about my brownies. Also got an egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and it was really good. They're coffee and hot chocolate is great, and they have various smoothies (I think I'm going to try tree chocolate one with nutella and peanut butter next time). Yes, I can agree with the other reviewers that the service doesn't always cone with an overly cheerful smile. But they're still very friendly and will offer up suggestions. Pricing isn't bad either. Got a huge breakfast for 2 (egg sandwich, bagel with cream cheese, omelet, home fries, drinks) for only $14. Great little hole in the wall.

Fluffy french toast. Yummy! (Just wish they would have served the butter at room temp instead of really cold, since it didn't melt much.)

Great Bagel Sandwiches. Love the "Lox Ness Monster" bagelwich (which needs capers too!).

Today was a happy accident. Originally the search was for a place that we had assumed was in…read moreNewtown Square, but was actually in Newtown; much too far to go to for an impromptu breakfast unless we were prepared for a small trip. However, this is the circumstances that led me to Rolling Stars. Not knowing what to expect whatsoever, except that I read that they served bagels, I was blown away by the offerings and the quality of everything they have, and will definitely be coming back to try some other menu items in the near future! Not only do they make almost everything from scratch, homemade here, with the bagels obviously being their signature item, everything is fresh, bold and wonderful. They even have a daily soup that is prepared by hand, that is available all day long, even for breakfast. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that this is a game changer for me. Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again. I cannot wait to go back, and I didn't even touch on the crazy awesome bagel chips that come with nearly everything!
