I loved my bagel from here! I've also tried the different cream cheese options and they were all so yummy

Good bagel place in West Chester. My friend and I came here on a Wednesday morning and there was a line of people waiting to order. There is no indoor seating here, so just be aware of that. The inside was on the smaller side. You can get a 4% discount if you pay with cash. The bagels we got were good, not out of this world though. It was reasonably priced for what you get. In my opinion, it could have had a bit more flavor. I also got a lemon pound cake loaf and was expecting it to be more lemony than it actually was. I would come here again but there are better places you can get a bagel in West Chester.

It was a lovely Sunday morning and I was craving some bagels for breakfast. I was over at Lion's place in Frazer, so I consulted my handy dandy Yelp app, with it's added bonus of providing a link to directions. Yay! Country Bagel came up so I loaded directions and headed out. Being a Sunday morning, I had no problems with street parking in downtown West Chester. I popped a quarter into the meter and headed in. This is a corner store, with two entrances, I entered on Gay Street. It's not a big place but it's laid out well, it's clearly pickup, there's on small table for anyone to dine in. There were a couple of refrigerated cases that held a variety of juices and sodas, even chocolate and regular milk in individual servings. Nicely done. One of the cases is dedicated to small tubs of spreadable cream cheeses - a good variety and quantity. I picked up the 'plain' cream cheese. Later spreading it on a toasted bagel it was creamy and smooth. The bakery sells more than bagels, there's also a decent selection of various pastries and cookies. Behind the counter were the bagels, and they had a good variety - plain, egg, garlic, poppy seed, pumpernickel, etc. I picked up some egg bagels and some whole wheat, some coffee and the cream cheese. At home we dug in. The egg bagels were...underwhelming. They're large, and they've got the chewiness but there was also some, well, puffiness, they were chewy but not really dense, which was odd. OK, I'm not a bagel purist. The disappointing part was the lack of flavor, they were quite bland, even with butter the flavor that comes through is the butter or the cream cheese. The bagels themselves added nothing. The wheat were a bit better, however still that odd cake-and-chewy combo. The location is clean and had wonderful bakery smells, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a Sunday, and it was during the holidays, so maybe this was not their best. I have a feeling that the relative consistency and taste profile would make them very good sandwich bases, so maybe we'll get those sometimes. I'm not sure though that I would make a special trip to go to pick up bagels there, though. I'm a little sad about that.

I just wish the bacon was more crispy but everything else is great thank you I always order through DoorDash

Always loved this place but they just charged me $5 extra to put cream cheese on my gluten free bagel.... Just because the bagel was gluten free? Even though it's the same cream cheese as anything else? I asked about it to be sure there was no mistake made.... They did indeed confirm they intended to charge me $5 in addition to the bagel charge just because my bagel was gluten free... sadly never coming back because that's insane. Oh and for reference... the gluten free bagel is MUCH smaller as seen in the photo so it was actually much more money for LESS cream cheese.

Amazing Bagel!!! I would've liked more bacon but overall amazing and fresh!!

Cute place in walking distance from my apartment. I went at 6:30 and got a salmon bagel that was 10/10 amazing. Great service too.

Friendly atmosphere, a bit on the noisy side…read more I had the best avocado toast I've ever eaten: generous amount of perfectly ripe avocado enhanced by just the right amount of pico and a balsamic drizzle. My companion also found his biscuits with sausage gravy incomparable and enjoyed it immensely. The service was very good-hearted but rather disorganized. Three examples: 1) When we entered, we were offered a table or a booth, chose a table, and immediately were very cheerfully and politely taken to a lovely booth. 2) After asking our server for a few minutes to study the menu, a different server came by to take our order, and shortly after that the original server also came back to take our order. 3) One of our meals was delivered promptly to our table but the other went to a different table first. In spite of all this, however, we were treated very well and felt that the staff sincerely wanted to do everything they could to make our meal pleasant, which it was (mishaps notwithstanding).

We took take out so can only judge by less fresh food…read more French toast was good. Waffles were ok. The chocolate chips (if you get that option) was just sprinkled on top (not mixed into the batter). Pancake was a bit rubbery, but could be that we weren't eating it fresh Hash browns were nice and crispy, but did lack some flavor Corn muffins were good
