Don't recommend. Had an appointment for a brake line assessment on a Monday. They gave me a $500…read moreestimate at 6pm that Monday night on a completely new brake line. They then stated I needed all this other stuff. Cv joints, tie rod ends, gas lines, wheel differentials, tire rotation, alignment, e brake issue etc. I told them from the get go. Ok do it, but I need it by that Friday at noon at the latest. I was told no problem if any issues they would let me know. I called them that Friday as It was past noon and I had not heard anything from them. It was 7pm and still nothing. I went there to c what was going on. They told me they were doing there best but this is why they don't work on older cars. Excuse me you are an auto repair place this is all you work on. I looked at all the vehicles in the shop and mine is actually not as old as many they are working on. I would never take my new vehicles to them as they are always under warranty and they go to the dealership not an auto repair shop. I reiterated I was suppose to have it back by noon as I was suppose to be in the fields combining. The Mortenson guys says go the the field and combine you have another vehicle to use. Which no I did not. I had been given a ride to the shop because I had no other vehicle to use at the time. I then told them - this is the last time I would ever bring a vehicle to them. The owner Mortenson said that was fine. Leave and they might give me a call when it was done. I did receive a call but not until the following Monday after 2pm. I went in pd for all the services that I was told were going to b done. And, to my surprise all they did was put 1 lower tie rods in and fix my rear brakes. None of the other stuff was done. I ended up going to Pomps in Darlington to get all the other work done. So I paid $2300.00 to MOrtensons for one lower front end tie rods and break lines in the rear only. But, they billed me for way more then what work they actually did. In fact they charged me for $1800 in labor and only $400 something in parts and the rest was odds and ends. Pomps in Darlington and Oil Pros in Evansville Pomps told me exactly what Mortenson did and I showed them the bill I received from Mortensons. I was told I was raped. They totally took advantage of you. They said that if they were me they would go back and not leave until they did everything I paid for. I said NO, when I say I'm not going back somewhere I don't go back. So you have been warned. Do not go to Mortensen auto repair. Pomps and Oil Pros in Evansville are so much more efficient, customer friendly and they do not take advantage of a woman. I'm a farm girl so it really makes me boil.customers beware.

All my questions were answered and they worked with my local bank. I took the truck home happy as a lark the next morning when I started the truck, the motor was knocking. I immediately called Dave the manager who I met the day before and he scheduled me an appointment being that this was a brand new truck. I was a little freaked out. I dropped the truck off for them to diagnose the problem. They immediately gave me a brand new 2026 Ford F150 to drive it turned out to be a bad timing chain tensioner to cause metal shavings to go through the entire engine and other words, it was a manufacturers defect. They immediately went to work and got me a 100% brand new engine and had Alan their top tech of 20 years was master certified. Put the motor in. It looked like the day came out of the factory. I was very impressed and extremely pleased. They also went above and beyond and contacted Ford. Ford stepped up and made my first truck payment. And gave me 100,000 mile extended warranty. I've been in the car business my entire life, both buying and selling and had never been handled more professionally. I am a very high type a personality. And like to know what's going on they kept me informed the entire way what could've been a major disappointment. a huge turned out to be a pleasant experience. When the car repeatedly started to die again I called to ask what was done on the vehicle, they said they never went pass a surface level diagnostic that you could do in any home garage. They over torqued the battery cables to the point it striped a layer of anode when removed. Furthermore, that they DONT listen to customers, because they probably don't know what they're talking about. Take NO responsibility to ensure cars are fixed. After explaining that there was no way for them to figure out what is wrong offered to look at it again, when pressing my point, immediately doubled back on the "free" diagnostic, and said they don't know enough and should take it to the dealership cause they don't wanna get blamed for "tough" problems." Honestly, I had no problems if it cost a couple grand to repair, I only took it there cause I didn't have a car lift. If it's a easy issue like changing a tire/oil, charging a battery, I will recommend it's a cheap option, but you get what you pay for I guess. *shrug* What really bothers me, wasn't the money, or quality, it was that the guy got SO OOO defensive, that he could do NO wrong. We all have tough days that we miss things, or don't go as deep into problem as we could/should. I've worked in customer service, its TOUGH, but its always better to meet the customer where they are at, instead of escalate, it sucks, I hope he finds that path, and I feel for what ever hardened his heart in that way. **Update** Challenging them in any way gets you banned from going back there. It wasn't a loss since I wasn't going to go back. But reaching out to my Mom to say that was pretty petty. They used to service 3 of my cars, now they will service none. Which is sad cause I was about to spend $12,000 on an engine overhaul on my SUV, and I was going to ask if they could do it.

The owner,Trent Siegenthaler, grew up around working on cars his whole life. His grandfather is a reputable mechanic and his father is very experienced in the shop as well. It was great timing that I came across his advertisement because I needed brake work done on my truck and I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg at a dealership. I contacted Trent and he was able to get my truck in right away. I told him that I thought the front brakes needed to be replaced. Trent looked over my truck and told me that my front brakes were bad and definitely needed to be replaced, and he also let me know my back brakes were going to need to be replaced soon, but wasn't pushy about me fixing them right away. Trent gave me a price before he did any work and I felt he was very honest with his overall assessment of issues he saw. I was very happy with the work Trent did on my truck and I will be going back to T.R.A.C Repair in the future and will refer my friends there as well.

Delivery took a little over an hour, split between signing the final docs and our salesman Jeff B. showing us features, pairing our phones, etc. (greatly appreciated) 3) They accepted my EPP# through CNH Industrial, which saved us money and simplified negotiations. Couldn't find any dealers in Chicagoland who weren't using the "chip shortage" as a reason to sell at full MSRP+.
