I freaking loved this place! It is so spectacularly quaint, spacious and nestled in the mountains. My room had a direct view of the swan mountains and the views I woke up to were truly breathtaking. This place had everything- such warm hosts and staff who welcomed us to their Fourth of July celebrations, a beautiful game room, The best breakfasts so thoughtfully prepared by R and team, an honor code based inventory of regularly used items in case you forgot to pack. R knows everything about the place and offers great recommendations. Our week here was such an amazing experience and I will definitely come back for more.

The living room and library. Everything you could need to get ready to go into Glacier.

The best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at! It is close enough to Glacier to really be an excellent place to stay. The road leading up to it gives no hint how wonderful it is. They have first rate rooms, and a library with everything you could ever want to know about the park. Wifi worked great. The breakfast was creative and very accommodating of special dietary needs. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Cannot say enough great things about this place. It's extremely clean and well-kept. The rooms and patios are spacious and comfortable with incredible Mountain views. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They have and are willing to share everything you need to make your stay and experience comfortable - bear spray, hiking sticks, wine glasses, you name it. One of my favorite touches was the rooms full of books that operate as a library for guests. We will be back!

Savory bacon and cheddar waffles with cinnamon apples on top!

Like so many other places in the area you order from a counter and then sit and wait to pick up your food. Our group had a cheeseburger, BLT, kids cheese quesadilla and the Glacier Dip. The BLT and Glacier Dip were awesome. The kids said their cheeseburger and quesadilla were ok. Of course we had shakes again too. The shakes were perfection! Prices were good for the food, I think the drinks (iced tea, lemonade and a soda) were expensive at $4 each. I don't think they offered refills either? As is always the case at these types of places I am never sure if we are meant to bus our own tables or not? Anyways I would definitely recommend a stop here!

Plenty of food gifts and other souvenirs to choose from. This is a stand in line and order type restaurant. We walked in, grabbed menus and ordered our food. The long line went quickly which was nice. You take a number to a table and wait for the number to be called. They do not bring out your food, you grab it from the counter. I ordered the original classic cheeseburger with onion rings. They have a separate spot to grab condiments and toppings for the burgers and sandwiches. Overall my cheeseburger was tasty. They don't cook to order which is disappointing as I would have preferred a medium burger but it did not taste overdone. The onion rings were crispy and well seasoned. We ordered the slice of huckleberry pie to share. It was super sweet, delicious. The crust was more moist than flaky but overall pretty tasty. The restaurant was clean and staff seemed efficient. The restrooms were located in the back of the gift shop and were clean. I thought it was a good spot to stop after visiting the park.

The pie was honestly the best huck pie we've ever had. The crust was perfectly flaky and buttery, and the huckleberries were so flavorful and fresh. Every bite was incredible. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into it. We all agreed The ice cream they serve with the pie was excellent. They've been making their huck pie from the same family recipe since 1949, and it shows. It's a family-owned place and there's something really special about that tradition being carried on for so long. We love that family tradition. We have been coming to Montana for 14 years and we love huckleberry pie and have tried a lot of them over the years, but this one truly stands out. The other pies just don't compare. We'll absolutely be coming back -- and next time we're bringing all our friends.

The bison cheese burger was very better than other places we tried. One of the best huckleberry pies in town!!! I firmly believe the bun makes the burger and this bun was good! It was popular, so the line to order was long but went through fairly quick. Food and drinks are different lines. When you get your order in, find a table and the beeper will page you when it's ready. We got burgers, one with fries and with the watermelon. Burgers were delicious. Cooked smashed style, they had nice crispy edges. Watermelon was fresh and juicy. Fries were crispy. Great dinner. While the food is good, the music was even better. It was a solo guitarist who sang classic country. He was great. Many were sending up tips with a request and he did a great job of being able to handle most requests. The outdoor setting was awesome and the stage allowed everyone to see the entertainment. On street parking was easy. Great stop.

Strawberry and Walnut salad - refreshing and tasty. Burnt ends - meh I've had much better. If you're really jonesin for some I guess they're OK. Curry chicken salad pita - it was okay but lacked depth. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Sweet potato fries were definitely worth the upgrade however! Regular fries had an odd aftertaste. Just get the sweet potato upgrade. Caesar and burger I heard were good. The best thing this place has going for it imo is their homemade ranch dressing! Wow very good. Fresh and tasty, everything ranch should be. Tbh very disappointed with this place. It was overly packed with people, had poor signage that YOU HAVE TO ORDER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT - THEY WILL NOT COME TO YOUR SEAT! Our "waiter" gave us water and cleaned the table but never told us this so we waited 20 min and would have waited another hour if we didn't figure it out. AND you have to order drinks at a separate place outside. My biggest gripe food wise is that the Mac and Cheese looked REALLY good but they don't offer it other than as an entrée. Poor move imo as a restaurant move! Servers were very rude as well. It is cool they have outside live music I must say and the ambiance is cool. Conversely, I do have to say my wife thought this was her favorite food so far in MT for what that's worth. In the future, I'd rather head across the street to North Fork Pizza than risk going back here. The pizza smelled diviiiiine from outside!

The staff here is a bunch of older ladies who are downright rude! Any vendors in here should beware that these ladies could be and probably are harming your sales! My mom, son and I came into look at beads. Of course the toy section caught my two year olds eye and I took him over there. They had several items I had actually been searching for. My little one climbed in the little car we've been looking to buy and the lady came around the corner within the first two minutes were there, as he was getting out, she said "no no, get out of that car. this area is not to play in, it's only to purchase" I must have had a puzzled look on my face as she never identified herself, was scolding my own child in front of me and was wearing a purse, as if she was a customer. She then said, "why are you making that face?" SERIOUSLY? I said, "I didn't mean to make any sort of face, but I'm trying to figure out who you are and what you're telling us. She again reiterated that this was not a play area. I said "well I was intending on purchasing from this area but not anymore." I told my son "sorry baby we have to leave, you can't touch anything" this of course lead to him crying and I had to physically remove him from the store. I just can't believe that someone would talk to us this way and really expect a child not to touch toys. Not coming back here.
