Great Food, Great Service, and a Wonderful Vibe! My wife, a friend, and I had a great dinner here! We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the atmosphere, and received good service throughout our visit. The food was delicious! We ordered the Deli Stackhouse, deviled eggs, sweet potato fries, a grilled chicken burger with regular fries, and sweet teas. Everything was tasty, and we all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant had a great vibe, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed dinner with friends and family. The only minor downside was a bit of a carpet smell, but it wasn't too bad and didn't take away much from the overall experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time, enjoyed great food and good service, and would definitely recommend Bad Daddy's. 100% recommended!* We'd happily come back again! read more

Service was terrible. The restaurant was empty at 5:15 on a weeknight and had a funky smell in the dining area. I did a build your on salad and my husband had the smash burger. The burger came out overly done and was paper thin. Honestly a McDonald's burger looked more appetizing. My salad was great, but the waitress got my protein wrong, and some of my salad add-ons. The order is personalized on a build your own salad pad, so I don't know how she messed it up. Additionally she missed our only side of tots. We waited 15 minutes with no urgency on getting my right protein and the side of tots. Walked in and all the waitresses were on their phones in an empty booth. It's a shame because I would normally rate this place at least 4/5 stars. read more

Everything was spot on!! Service was impeccable. April was professional and affable! Food came out fresh and hot and was delicious! I ordered the Bistro burger with a Turkey patty and added smashed avocado in place of the avocado crema. My patty was juicy and well seasoned. I loved the grilled onions and fresh arugula that came on it! I also loved that my tater tots were crispy but not over cooked! Everything was just delicious! My son did a create your own burger with 2 angus beef patties, fried mozzarella patty, garlic mayo, and pesto on a Brioche bun!! It was massive and he was in hamburger heaven!!! The parking lot is small but I'd pay for parking if I had to! The place is not big but they do have a nice size outdoor patio area! It is very casual and clean! It also wasn't too loud! All in all, I'm glad we visited!!! read more

My daughter and I were in the mood for burgers and we were close to Bad Daddy's, so why not stop? The hostess was great. She was very kind and helpful. We sat outside. Two servers walked past us multiple times and never acknowledged us. We sat for 10 minutes without a drink, a hello, or a we'll be right with you. . We had enough time to review the menu and write our orders since we were doing the "Build Your Own" option. Another table sat in the area and one of the same servers who never acknowledged the two of us was at their table within 2 minutes and brought their drinks shortly after. At that point, we left. There was no reason to stay. We drove a few miles away and got great food and service at Pinky's. When in the mood for Bad Daddy's I'll be sure to go to the Birkdale location. I've never had poor service there. read more

I really wanted to like this location, but the cleanliness and overall atmosphere were disappointing. As soon as I opened the restroom door to wash my hands, there was a dirty mop bucket sitting right in the doorway. Then, when I got to the sink, there was a bulky item sitting in it, making it impossible to wash my hands. That alone was enough to leave a bad impression. What made it even worse was seeing employees sitting in the dining area on their phones with headphones in instead of paying attention to the restaurant. It gave the impression that cleanliness and customer service were not priorities. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because a clean restaurant and attentive staff are the bare minimum. Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard for me to return. read more

We ate in the restaurant and the entire place felt and smelt sticky. When the food came out the appearance was a 6/10, mainly because the sweet potato fries looked as if they were the crumbs at the bottom of a bag. The smash burger was very salty and overcooked. The water was very good and the southern peach tea (alcoholic) was spot on. read more

Went in on a Friday night at 8pm. The restaurant was less than half full. I was told it would be 30 minutes to be seated. When I asked why it would take so long considering the restaurant was half empty I was told that the kitchen was backed up with to go orders. What used to be a solid restaurant now seems like a Door Dash hub that is not interested in dine in customers. Disappointing to see this place go down hill. read more

I always enjoy their burgers and milkshakes but I decided to switch it up this time. My friends and I celebrated National Margarita Day at this location and it was a good choice! $2.22 Margaritas for the win! I ordered a salmon caesar salad and had two Margaritas ( Strawberry and lime). The salad was good but the salmon was a bit overcooked ( seasoned well) The drink were good ( wish they had additional flavors) Our waitress was nice and our food and drink came quickly. I usually go to the Concord location because I enjoy the atmosphere and service but this location was cool too. read more

Upon entry into the restaurant we could smell how dirty it was. During the long wait for our food we had a good look at the cleanliness of the restaurant and restrooms - unfortunately what we saw was absolutely horrendous. Sticky menus, filthy carpets, the milkshake machine completely spattered in dried up cream, and the restrooms were poorly stocked and needed attention. It felt like whoever owned the restaurant didn't care much about their facility. To top it off, someone in our group got really sick after the visit. Looking through the google reviews and reading about someone from the kitchen throwing up in the restroom and then going back to work, we weren't surprised why. read more

I ordered a pesto salad and I got a chef salad. I ordered the Swiss mushroom burger; medium well and it came well done and not tasty or juicy. It also came with very few mushrooms. My husband said the Mediterranean salad was excellent. read more

My husband and I were craving burgers so he decided to take me to Bad Daddy's Burger bar for the first time. I ordered the pizza burger, truffle fries, and cookies and cream milkshake. The pizza burger was okay. It needed a little more seasoning. The truffle fries were on point! I really enjoyed the taste. The cookies and cream milkshake was also delicious. Overall the food was good but I wish the burger needed more seasoning. There was also a lot of food. I was able to have leftovers which I love. The staff were friendly and food was made fast! read more

If you're looking for the best burger around, Big Daddy's Burger Bar is your place. The burgers are cooked to perfection, and the toppings options are mind-blowing. I ordered the huge Bad A** burger, which was massive and delicious! I'm also a big fan of the Bacon BBQ Burger - its sweet and smokey flavors are on point. It doesn't get any better than this! The fries were excellent! Also, the service at Big Daddy's is top-notch. The waitstaff is super friendly and very helpful when it comes to choosing what burger to get. My only complaint is that the food is a bit expensive, we ordered food for seven people, and it cost us more than $230 including tip for the waiter. For our family, it costs around $100 bucks in most places but it was double here. I'm not complaining just an observation! My family and I always leave Big Daddy's feeling full and satisfied with our experience. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an amazing burger! 5 stars all the way! Thank you for the delicious memories! read more

We came here for the 1/2 off apps and wow we ordered so much good food. I loved the mozzarella medallions! Our server was super chill and the inside is more like a sports bar but it's really nice! Great burger place! My sister and I came here just wanting to get out of the house and I'm so glad we picked here! We got there about two hours before they closed and found out that all the apps are half off everyday two hours before they close. We ordered so much food we had to take it home but it was all delicious! The place is kind of small but I really love the patio area they have! Definitely recommend if you want a good burger or if you just want to take advantage of the half off apps! read more

This is my favorite burger joint in Charlotte! I don't eat beef and sometimes its hard to find a tastey turkey burger. Bad Daddy lets you customize your burger, so I can choose turkey and all the toppings I want. Also I LOVE their fries both regular and truffled! I mostly do delivery for BD's and it travels well, always shows up warm and in tact. I did come in once to have a burger, and the service was decent and I loved their marg choices! read more

Bad Daddy's is certainly one of the best places to get a nice burger that's reasonably priced as well! They have many chef inspired burgers to choose from or you can build your own. The burgers are always perfectly cooked with a slight crunch to the outside that makes them really stand out above other places. One thing that I really like is that you can choose most any side without an up charge. For instance, last time I was there I got the Ceasar salad and it was quite good. I love fries (who doesn't?!) but being able to choose other sides allows me to balance things out some as I try to limit the amount of fried foods that I consume. They have craft beer and a full bar and the drinks are reasonably priced. I ordered a spicy margarita and it was very tasty! I have been several times but I'm just now writing this review. In summary, Bad Daddy's is a great place to grab a nice burger in a casual but very nice atmosphere. Also, I want to give a shoutout to them for recognizing our veterans with a free burger on the Friday before Veterans Day. Cheers! read more

Ordered a take out yesterday, 1 bad ass burger, 1 customized burger, 1 truffle Parmesan fries and 1 regular fries. The bad ass burger taste horrible and soggy. Buns were so squishy and soggy Both of the fries were extremely soggy, burned and oily. There were many burned pieces in the fries. Which caused them to taste bitter. Definitely won't come back! Service is fine, just the food. read more

The food was good. I got the wings in the Thai chilli sauce as an appetizer. Good flavor and good crisp on the wings. My burger was ok- quite salty though. Dirty floors, dirty toilet paper holders and looked like a gas station bathroom. read more

3.5 stars. We used the walk-up window to place a to go order, and the wait was only about 10 mins. The burgers were cooked nicely and had lots of toppings. Unfortunately, my burger also had a piece of paper on it; I'm thinking probably part of the paper that goes in between cheese slices. I bit into it on my second bite, so that was off-putting. I will say that the sweet potato fries were awesome. read more

Upbeat music but not too loud welcomes you Staff is friendly and doesn't rush you. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Burger with hand cut fries. It was great. Lots of mushrooms and the swiss cheese was melted nicely. The fries were the way I like them, crispy no salt. My husband ordered the Fried Mozzarella burger with a side salad....yes it was a full piece of mozzarella deep fried on the burger. The salad was fresh with veggies and bacon. Definitely check this place out. If I had been braver I would have tried the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids....lots of bacon happening there. read more

This is one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever seen. If I had not been invited to join a party there, I would not have entered the restaurant to eat. Glass doors were dirty with hand prints. The entrance flooring to the restaurant was filthy. Standing water behind the bar. Broken lock on a stall in women's bathroom. I don't believe there is anyone in charge of cleaning the premises. Yuck! Shame on them. read more

I order from Postmates and always get a good burger from them and so much to choose from so many flavors. I have had a few different burgers and sides always enjoy. They have fries and tator tots that are just the best and sauces to taste as well. The menu is fairly large again with a lot to choose from burgers, sandwiches, sides, sauces and do NOT forget the large portion of Banana Pudding housemade that is great. Not always are my ToGo orders have all the i asked for, but still a great meal. Portions are large and you will leave the meal full. I recommend this spot. Enjoy! read more

I dont know how this restaurant has so many good reviews. I have had better burgers at Mcdonalds for far less money. Always thought about checking this place out and then I stopped eating burgers. But THEN a friend suggested it for lunch so why not? I am SO glad I finally came. Apparently my friend comes here often for lunch as it's close to her office. She's committed to getting a salad with a side of sweet potato fries. I went with the salmon sandwich with fruit (sweet potato fries are on the sandwich!) Okay y'all. There is no way you can possibly know how delicious this sandwich is without trying it. So we like Bad Daddy's particularly for the turkey burger and the Buffalo chicken sandwich. I'll just say double up on the turkey patty if you like to be full. We came on a Sunday and had a small wait . Nothing crazy and was soon called to our table . We thought the food was good but I would have liked some better fries . It looked like I had the end of the bag . I was too hungry so I ate them . I would like to see them give the place a thorough cleaning, especially the bathroom. The bathroom had one toilet that looked like it was overflowing and just overall looked dirty. I went to the other location and I felt the same about the bathroom there too. read more

Came here because of the Yelp reviews as well as being able to bring my dog here. We showed up, were seated outside, and had a waitress that was prompt with service. We did order a multitude of items to include a side salad, cheeseburger, plain cheeseburger, beyond type of burger also, and fries. The burgers were cooked as we had asked. The salad was good. The fries were fries. Overall it was not absolutely amazing to where I need to drive out of my way for this place, but it was not horrible either. I decided to post because this is the third time that this has happened. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger on steroids with lettuce, tomato cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, etc. and as you can see from the picture, I just got a piece of meat with cold cheese, barely any bacon and some type of crumbles on top.!! I'm only giving one star because again this is the third time that I've ordered through DoorDash And they've sent me my order with the correct receipt on the bag but totally wrong burger. Bad daddy's food is pretty good when it's fresh and hot, but I feel like their People should be accountable to check orders before bagging ... sending $25-$30 on an order is a lot of money to only receive it and it's incorrect..and then the store was about to close so I couldn't even go up there to exchange it. Once again, very disappointed with this location I think I'll stop ordering for a while. Maybe just switch over to the penguin. read more

Solid spot serving up unique burgers. We went to their fourth ward location which was pretty empty on a Thursday night, seated immediately with lots of open tables, I've heard that other locations can get quite crowded. - backyard bbq pork nachos: good appetizer for the table, wish there were a bit more toppings (especially the bbq meat) came with some friends who recommended the bad ass burger so everyone at the table ended up ordering the same entree with different sides - bad ass burger: you might notice that all of the pictures show a huge/tall burger with a mysterious fried section. that, my friend, is fried bacon, not something i've tried before but a cool burger topping for sure. burger on the greasier side but not a regret whatsoever. unfortunately, i wasn't able to finish the entirety of my burger in one sitting. - sides: favorite side i tried was the truffle fries- good truffle flavor.
