    Half cheese, half sausage.

On a very busy night, we had excellent service, and were in and out in plenty of time to get to our concert. Pizza was hot, and had plenty of toppings.

Holy buckets that looks good. Cheeseburger pizza

I can't do a review of the venue since we were at the grewery next door and had it delivered so I can't speak on the venue. However, the pizza was super good. I havent had quad city style pizza before, slightly sweet crust, but I liked it. The crust was perfectly prepared and crispy, but not overcooked. The toppings were plentiful and good, we had the cheeseburger pizza. It was a good size for the price and warmed up really well at home the next day. I'd gladly get this pizza again.

Kind of a dive but I like their music choices

We arrived on a Saturday night at dinner time. Seating was a struggle and the table was only "sort of" clean. Our waitress was pleasant but I could tell she was stressed. I don't know if they were understaffed or problems in the back but it showed in her very hurried order taking. The pizza arrived 35 minutes later. It was good, but not great. It had a nice crust, generous cheese, but the sausage was fine grind and had some serious hot spots that I didn't appreciate. Overall, their food is ok, but I think I will try something different next time I am in Moline.

The fellas in the kitchen made a great pizza!

Great atmosphere and great pizza!! Had a great conversation with the friendly staff and a few local customers about ghosts and gangsters. A rare local find and welcome surprise.

Order the calzone. Now! Oh wow there were amazing. The marinara sauce is just a tad on the spicy side but if you hop on over to the bar next door, wash that right down with a cold one! Definitely a must stop when you're in the area.

My husband and I came here on a Sunday for lunch. The place was dead...I mean no one else there whatsoever (except one bar tender and two cooks). I had heard this place was good so I was just hopeful that everyone else was at home grilling out since it was a nice day and the lack of people didn't show that the food wasn't good. I knew I wanted to start with a salad but looking at the menu, there was not a salad option. My husband and I landed on the John Wilkes Booth pizza and I asked if they had salads available. The waitress (bartender) said yep they have them. My question is, why not put them on the menu then!?!? The salad was of decent size (a typical side salad) and tasted fresh enough. When the pizza came, it was a bit bigger than we originally imagined. It did look delicious! I understand that Quad City style pizza is thin and cut into strips but I am just not the biggest fan. It was too thin and easily fell apart. The crust was over done although it did have good flavor. This is not my first choice for pizza.

This pizza was awful. It tasted kind of like tombstone. Cost way too much for what it was.

It's decked out with live plants, some comfortable booths and some tables. It's an attractive space with a good view of the kitchen. It's a solid little space. We ordered the house salad, which is tossed in buttermilk ranch dressing and it's super delicious. Such a great salad to start with before the pizzas. It's large enough for 3 people to share, as there were 2 of us and we had some left over to take home. Brian Olsen has pizza on lock! He is a master at his craft. These pizzas have an amazing flavor, terrific crust and quality ingredients. They serve burgers and a chicken sandwiche, too! We ordered 3 different pizzas... one with garlic cream sauce and green peppers, one with pepperoni, sausage & red peppers and another specialty pizza with the hot honey & arugula with pepperoni and Calabrian chili's. Man, that was some good Za!! Claire was our server and she was terrific, too! Clearing dirty plates, refreshing silverware and beverages. Terrific attitude! All in all, Bettendorf has an amazing pizza restaurant that the locals should be grateful for in their own neighborhood! And, Smash serves beer, wine, and cocktails, too. I wish I lived closer. I'd become a regular and dine in often! Whenever I'm back in town, I'll be sure to stop by to try some different specialty pies, like the elote pie. That one sounded really good! So did the za with wild mushroom & kale!! Maybe one day Smash will create a taco pizza to compete with Happy Joe's, rip Joe Whitey. But, seriously, there is no comparison between the two. Smash is hands down one of the best pizza restaurants in the QC's and is better that many BIG city pizza spots. Thanks for the good time, great food & service!!

I have not eaten meat in 12 years and also rarely do dairy so the pizza was mostly for my husband. He likes Hawaiian and he always enjoys it and says it's really good. We also have friends that do keto and Top Hat has a great low-carb, cauliflower crust option for keto followers (contains dairy, eggs). Recently they added plant based options - vegan cheese and vegan meat - to their menu so I had to try it out. I was trying to manage my expectations because getting plant-based pizza right is quite difficult if you don't eat it yourself (flavor is flavor, so vegan or not you don't want bland pizza but often it is.) the owner and I chatted about adding these options to the menu and was really nice and supportive and asked some questions about what vegan options I'd like to see on the pizza. Really accommodating and kind (he always has been when my husband and I stop in!). So, on to the pizza... the vegan pizza was fantastic. Probably the best I've had in the QC. We got a small pizza with black olives, green olives, and onions. So if you hate olives please forgive my addiction. Please support this incredible, local, small business. All you have to do is eat pizza.

Watch for your Kennedy Half Dollar in your change. You can get pre-made frozen pizzas with a bit of advance notice; you'll need to find someone to ship them. We like to get the half-baked pizza and take it home and freeze sections to have later. On our most recent visit we got dinner and took home our half-baked pizza to start enjoying the next evening. I got the Italian Beef and my wife got Fries Chicken. Both were great! I had a large pile of tender beef with green pepper on French bread. The chicken was crispy, piping hot, and delicious. The tables are either original or food replicas, as are the chairs. They still have the old style cloth rotating hand towels in the bathroom, with paper towels for the less adventurous. Bar drinks are good, and they carry a wide variety of beer by the bottle and can and soda by the can so you won't have to take a Pepsi product over Coca-Cola or visa-versa.
