A few years ago, my friend wanted to check out this location but there was a very long wait. I have…read morebeen here a few times but I finally decided to make a review since it has been a few years since I have visited. The drive was very easy. Parking could be a little issue since, while they do have a little lot, it is shared by a lot of other buisineses. However, there shouldn't be a huge issue finding somewhere to park depending on the day and time. I arrived here for lunch on Sunday and we had no issues parking. Inside is very clean. The building was bigger than I imagined.... I don't know if they expanded or not but I always thought it was small especially since I normally at near the front door. For lunch, I tried "Fire in the Cairo"... it was a burger with bacon, cream cheese sauce, jalapeños and a jalapeño jam, and I upgraded my fries to their loaded baked potato fries which came in nacho cheese, sour cream, bacon, etc. The burger itself (as well as the fries) were delicious. The jalapeño jam was not spicy at all to me but my tolerance is very high. Overall, I would get the burger and the fries again. Overall, the visit was great. Clean building. Server was nice and friendly. And the food was delicious.

Yes, Plano is a food desert for vegans. I could probably find more stuff at an Aldi than I'm going to find at Crusader, where the number of official Vegan options is zero. Not one, not 20, but zero. The "Vegan" part here is mostly accidental, but I'll take it where I can get it. I ordered pickup from Crusader, only to walk into a half-bar half restaurant with a standing room behind it. Even parking here is kinda weird being about 50 feet from a railroad track, but hey. I'm not writing to dig as much as share my experience. Hostesses were reasonably nice and the place was quieter than expected given that it was also a bar on a Friday night. So how did I eat vegan here? Build your own burger lets you do an impossible burger, a vegan bun, and toppings of your choice. Is it a good choice? I guess. Someone on Google said the best vegan burger rhey have ever had and I would like some of the drugs that person had. The burgers were brought to us cold and not cooked to a normal degree. I don't get it, cook the thing like any other burger and done. That's the whole idea! I feel like maybe it was forgotten in the back, and the buns were also pretty gross. Just get pretzel buns, folks. Be lazy! Also don't try to charge us more for an impossible burger in 2026 when you know for a fact beef is going to cost way, way more. So the core of this kinda sucked. Topping choices were good, from the avocado pico to multiple onion choices (grilled, pickled etc). That was an actual plus! I will maybe, maybe consider this again if I'm in the area. But I'll also consider a grocery store where I actually have options and this would be more of a backup/emergency option. Not a priority option.

Not the one with the roses and 4 hoofed animals, the one with the green - Billiard Table Green (felt that is). If you are interested in expanding your knowledge of the history and pursuit of the sport of pocket billiards, look no further. One of the most unique places you will find is right here, quietly existing in Willow Springs on the North side of Archer Avenue. You have probably driven past it hundreds of times. Filled with photos and memorabilia of the sport, site of numerous championships, visits from famous billiard wizards, home of antique (priceless) billiard tables, wholesome meals, and wonderful beyond words owners, I give you the Illinois Billiard Club/ aka / Jim and Bonnie's, Jim and Bonnie Parker, Proprietors. From their website: "Today, as the oldest, most historically elegant, individually founded, owned and operated private billiard club in North America, the IBC and Bonnie's Dining & Banquets invite today's 21st century society to enjoy a fine meal, and, the fun filled game of billiards ... all presented within the charm, tranquility and grandeur of their 19th century country home" The IBC is a private club that, for a limited time (effective February 2010) opens its doors at 5pm every Friday and Saturday evening serving dinner and allowing you to check out their billiards tables without membership. Dinner reservations are suggested. Their website: www.illinoisbilliardclub.com There is a lot of information on the sport and on the facility. Jim and Bonnie's provides catering and the facility is available for events. We hold our annual Christmas party here and the space along with the food and service make the event quite special and memorable. Check out the wedding pics on the website. If you can convince your betrothed that this is the place to hold your wedding reception - invite me for giving you the advice. If you visit in the near future, talk to Jim in regards to membership in the IBC. I understand that there are some slots open. If you enjoy billiards, the cost is minimal in regards to the quality of the tables, food and camaraderie you will find here. Note that this is NOT a pool hall bar; this is a first class, family run, private facility for people serious about the sport (which also happens to function as a restaurant in order to market their services). If you are in that "serious about the sport" category, it is more than worth a visit.

A pretty simple looking bar with basically just drinks. There's a food truck outside it regularly. Came in and it was surprisingly better looking and clean. It's probably gone through a few renovations. There's lots of pool tables. Apparently this is a popular place to play it. They have tournaments. It's about $6 for a basic cocktail. Whiskey or whatever mixed with a pop. Bathrooms are actually modern and clean. These were a pleasant surprise because we were expecting something cramped and smelly. Good local bar. It's located across from the golf course, but this place doesn't seem like a place for golfers. There's not a food menu, but they have food trucks.

The owner (Miguel) personally walked up to me and my friends and kicked us out simply because my friend had a drink in hand near the pool table, after trying to explain that my friend wasn't even playing and simply viewing us play, Miguel proceeded to make a huge commotion and kicked us out boasting how he's the owner of the place and after I asked for his last name in order to write this review him and his staff refused to give it to me. Safe to say if you want to play pool comfortably with a group of friends do not come here.
