Portions were extremely small-14.99 for brisket sandwich- about 1/2" of brisket (or other was pulled pork-although who could tell the difference given the amount of the sauce mixed in). Small handful of fries tasting like bad oil from the fryer-and coleslaw which barely covered the bottom of the side dish. Pitiful. Small place, and the music is so loud that you just want to escape. Staff was setting up for karaoke for several minutes, and tables were being shuffled around us while we tried to eat. Unnerving and weird. Then again, I'm guessing it's so loud because they need to mask the dinging of the microwave; clearly the main kitchen implement in use here. 40 bucks for 2 sandwich "plates" and 2 sodas. A definite bummer for my husbands Father's Day. Wait staff was pleasant and efficient, that's about all I can say about this waste of money, calories, and time.

With that said, if you're used to the BBQ being pulled right off the smoker like I am, then this may not be the spot for you. What threw me off was heating it up in a pan. Again, although it had plenty of flavor, I missed that grilled char/smoke. The owner has been doing it this way for a long time, so I know it's a local favorite, just not the type of bbq I would prefer. I wasn't fond of the sides as well (cornbread, beans, mac & cheese, potato salad). They could be great for someone else - just not what I'm used to. Lastly, I wish there was a sampler platter to choose from as the overall cost was fairly high, around $70 which gave us a ton of food leftover.
