Great little bar. Every patron we came in contact with was amazingly friendly. Bar staff was wonderful. 10/10

Discover Baton Rouge's Best-Kept Secret: A Hidden Gem Underneath the City…read more Tucked beneath Azteca's Mexican Restaurant and nestled right on the edge of the Mississippi River, this isn't your average dive bar. Since the 1930s, this historic spot has been serving up cheap, strong drinks in a cozy, basement hideaway. It's off the beaten path, and its entrance is a little tricky to find - just the way you want your dive bars to be. Once you do find it, prepare for a throwback to a time when things were simpler: dark hallways lit by a few twinkling Christmas lights, leading you into a dimly lit, welcoming space. The bar is stocked with an impressive selection of scotch, and the staff is as friendly as they come. It's a place where everyone knows your name, and the drinks come strong and cheap. The vibe is laid-back, with darts, a jukebox, and a pool room that's a little too fancy to be considered "divey" -- but hey, that's part of its charm. This is the local hangout, a true haven for Baton Rouge's service industry crowd and anyone who just wants to enjoy a drink in peace, away from the downtown hustle. Oh, and did we mention the drink specials? This place knows how to throw a party: SIN Night on Sundays (yes, it's as fun as it sounds) Ladies Night on Mondays, with FREE drinks for women from 9-11 PM Reverse Happy Hour on Tuesdays, where the drinks get cheaper every hour Bingo Night on Thursdays And, if you're out late, they're the only bar open after 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays! Now, technically, it's a speakeasy post-Covid, but getting in is easy: just scan the QR code on the door, and they'll email you a code to enter. Once you're in, it's like you've entered your own secret spot, away from the crowds. Whether you're a dive bar connoisseur, a fan of strong drinks, or simply looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience, this hidden gem has something for everyone. So, grab your guest pass or--better yet--become a member and make this your new favorite spot in Baton Rouge. You won't regret it.

Not the "Happy" place it used to be…read more After I casually asked whether the karaoke microphone could be sanitized between singers, because I once got COVID after using a shared karaoke mic, the staff seemed irritated and the tone toward me changed noticeably from that point on. After being treated poorly inside, I went outside to a large open area and was singing to myself, not bothering anyone. One of the managers then came outside yelling and shockingly, threatened to call the police if I did not leave. What made the situation even more upsetting was that I was completely sober and trying to find my glasses because of my low vision issues and disabilities. I also had my large purse with me. Instead of allowing me a reasonable moment to collect myself, locate my glasses, and gather my purse, staff continued yelling and said they did not care whether I had my things or not -- I had to leave. The situation felt unnecessarily aggressive, humiliating, and unsafe. I was not causing a disturbance, and what began as a simple health-related request turned into being treated like a problem. I used to think of this as a fun, welcoming place, but this experience left me feeling disrespected, intimidated, and unwelcome. Apparently disabled people are not welcome at O'Hara's.

Found out she was letting her friends sing when ever she chose and shunned me from singing the whole night. I even tried to pay her off so I could sing with no avail. Her friends were doing everything they could to not let me sing and even had two phones stolen out of my back pocket, which amazes me. Never felt my phones leaving my back pocket! Just a little pissed! God is watching. I was asked to leave because I complained about Claudia letting her friends sing two and three times before I ever was ever allowed to sing. Had bouncers threaten me and eventually the bar manager asked me to leave all because I asked Claudia why she was letting her friends sing 2 and 3 times and was never allowed to sing and was asked by bouncers and I think the manager to leave because I complained about how she was doing with people singing karaoke.I was never rude or anything to anyone including Claudia. I spent lots of money on drinks etc. and was never allowed to sing and ended up leaving because I was asked to do so because Claudia complained about me cause I was complaining about her letting her friends sing in front of me and not allowing me to sing. I got home and found my two phones stolen from my back pocket. I am not a happy camper. I suspect her bouncer friends for doing so! I told the manager I would never come back there. I tried to explain to the manager what Claudia was doing and refused to hear any of it! I am very disappointed with the hand I was dealt and I do not recommend the Station Sports Bar and Grill to anyone! The Station Sports Bar and Grill is very unprofessional and they do not respect patrons on what patrons have to say! I do not recommend anyone to go there for anything! I give the Sports Bar and Grill a zero for their professionalism and how they treat their customers. I highly recommend for patrons to go else where! The Station Sports Bar and Grill is very unprofessional and they treat patrons like crap! Do yourself a favor and go else where! A customer and would be patron!

The Cheese Curds speak for themselves, the buttermilk ranch appears to be made in house and is delicious. The salad is also very good. The combination of parmesan, sunflower seeds and banana peppers is very good and a combo I had never tried before. As far as main courses we had had the following: The Burger Seoul Plant (Philly Cheesesteak) Mac & Cheese Sausage & Kale Canestri Some of the menu items that don't appear to be currently but I had tried are the Hot Chicken Sandwich, Coconut Shrimp Tacos and some other versions of their pasta dishes. The Hamburger Steak use to be on the menu but was removed. However, recently it became available as the Thursday night special. Unfortunately, when we went it was underwhelming. The hamburger patty had zero seasoning and flavor, potatoes were average and the green beans were so salty we couldn't eat them. As far as drinks go, the Prague Ghost is very good. I don't see it on the menu currently however, my Wife ordered it a few weeks ago and they are still willing to make it.
