If you are looking for a great date night restaurant with great food, look no further. The food,…read moreservice, and ambiance of Bin 77 was amazing. A group of ladies and I were looking for a nice spot to get dinner and drinks and chose to try out a new restaurant we hadn't tried before. We all ordered the steak frites meal which came with this amazing red sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection just like I love mine (medium rare) and their fries are sooooooo good. We all enjoyed our food and the ambiance of the restaurant. It was nice and quiet. The servers were great and very helpful with anything we needed throughout our visit.

When we arrived we asked where we needed to go, the hostess sent us over to the Sidebar. This is where it gets a small bit confusing. Noone to greet you, even stopped next to a floor manager, who didn't have much to say. We just took a table, wasn't sure what ones were available. Im sorry to the server if we messed you up. She was fantastic, but could tell she had a lot going on. She was also helping at the bar. I was pleased with the food. Im definitely going to be back for the Steak Flatbread, it was well balanced and filling. Husband had Steak Frites, we were not very adventurous this trip. But will be back again. Ending the night with some Bread Pudding, a little sweet and a touch of tart from the blueberries. The night turned around, with all the thanks for our server Ally T, she was the best

This was my first visit to Pamplona Tapas Bar, and I really enjoyed the experience. We were able to…read morewalk in without a reservation, and our server, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, was very helpful with navigating the menu and deciding what to order. We tried several dishes, including the Castilian mushrooms, duck fat fries, Gambas al Ajillo, and hanger steak. The char grilled oysters were also a special that evening, so of course we had to try a half dozen. Everything was delicious, but the hanger steak and shrimp were definitely the standouts for me. I really enjoyed being able to order several smaller plates and experience a little bit of everything. The food was flavorful, the service was helpful, and there are still several things on the menu I want to try. The lamb sliders are already on my list for my next visit. Pamplona was a great first experience and definitely a spot I will return to when I am back in Lafayette.

My wife and I got two of their craft drinks, both were incredibly sweet. Neither of us drank them, but when we told Kyle the waiter about it he said "yea those are two of our sweeter drinks on the menu and they're made to be like that, you should have asked me if you didn't want something that sweet". There goes $30 right down the drain, thanks for the help Kyle. If you've want a quick stop for wine and a few overpriced appetizers maybe it's ok, but know what you're getting into. I wouldn't come back here, personally. Service meh, food meh, overall meh.

They have done a fantastic job at refurbishing the place into a quaint little restaurant. We went on a Friday night and they had live music on the deck. I'm handicapped and found parking was a little difficult however, once inside the restaurant the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Their specialty drinks were fantastic. I had a El jefe.which is their version of an Old Fashioned. To be honest I liked it better than the typical Old Fashioned. They have a great wine list too. My wife ordered the creamy goat cheese tapas (appetizer) and it great. Very light and tasty. My in-laws ordered the Setas al Ajillo. They are button mushrooms that have been and white ones and other spices and they were fantastic. On to the main course. My wife and I shared the seafood paella for dinner. And my in-laws shared the pan bronzed redfish. They were both exceptional. We will definitely be returning both for dinner and the occasional tapas and cocktails. PS. Please note that if you want to try one of the Paella meals that it takes about 30-40 minutes for them to prepare it but it's so worth it.

Valencia, near downtown Covington, is a stylish, contemporary presence featuring tapas and traditional Spanish cuisine, with a respectful nod to the local culture. Service was friendly and attentive today, with Dara providing valuable info on menu offerings and taking excellent care of us. Today we enjoyed their specialty tapas; a Valencia roll, fried calamari, and a brand new offering - fried chicken pesto flatbread. All were excellent, with the roll having a sumptuous glaze and the calamari packing a tasty jalapeño punch. The flatbread, which we found out that we were the first to try, may have been the star of the show; generously portioned, with a thin crust, moist chicken and a zesty , but not overpowering, pesto finish. Although we were too full for dessert, several appealing ones were available. A number of specialty cocktails were also featured. We enjoyed their sangria. We look forward to returning to Valencia!

Fresh seafood from the Gulf of MEXICO and a wicked drink menu. They offer several ceviches. Tapas include guacamole, empanadas, crawfish queso, fish dip and veggie salads like crispy cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. We had the crispy cauliflower served with tempura, cashew habanero crema, garbanzo hash, and chimichurri. Loads of flavor and just the right bite size for tapas/apps. Plates include churrasco, fish and grits, paella (can be served veggie or without shellfish if you're allergic), lamb, Yucatan style pork, shrimp or steak mofongo, and chicken poblano. I had the churrasco, served with papas bravas. Steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steak mofongo and the beef tips, like the churrasco, were seasoned perfectly. The plantain mash was sweet and somehow savory at the same time. We loved both dishes. They make mean margaritas and caipirinhas hre, and also offer drinks like the paloma, the Bolivian sour, sangria, and specialty drinks. Service was amazing. She was so upbeat and helpful. This restaurant was a little slow when we went. It deserves a lot more love. It's so close to the touristy part of the French Quarter. Leave the gimmicky spots and come here, you won't regret it.

There was Ceasar salad, ribeye over some potatoes with mushrooms, redfish over risotto, mixed veggies, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, blackberry cheesecake and ricotta donuts. The food was good!!! I ate some of everything and was really surprised. That cheesecake was so light, fluffy, and not too sweet. I didn't like the ricotta donuts. It just wasn't my thing. The entire staff, including the bartenders, were friendly and helpful. I will consider this venue the next time I need one. The venue is beautiful.

Beautiful Venue, Disappointing Business Experience…read more Junebug has a beautiful space in the CBD, and the ambiance is certainly appealing. Unfortunately, my experience attempting to book the venue for a private event was disappointing. We initially visited Junebug for dinner and drinks, enjoyed the space, and saw its potential for an upcoming event. As paying customers who had experienced the venue firsthand, we were seriously interested in renting it and prepared to make a substantial investment. I submitted an inquiry through their advertised event booking channels, obtained the events coordinator's contact information during our visit, and followed up with multiple calls and an email. None received a response. I eventually returned in person and spoke directly with a manager, who took down my information. Again, no follow-up. As someone who values New Orleans businesses and the hospitality our city is known for, I find this particularly disappointing. Not every inquiry needs to result in a booking, but every legitimate business inquiry deserves the courtesy of a response. I can't speak to the reasons behind the lack of communication, only to my experience. Junebug has a lovely venue, but there is a significant disconnect between advertising private event services and being accessible to customers interested in booking them. Beautiful space. Unfortunately, the hospitality and business experience did not match.
