Loved our dinner here!…read more We arrived around 7pm on a Thursday night. They check IDs at the door. You must be 21 or older to set a foot inside. The doorman was super friendly and fast - we had 6 in our group and there were other groups arriving at the same time. The first room that you enter sells wine, beer and charcuterie. You can choose your meats, cheeses and they'll put it on a beautiful platter for you. Then you go outside or upstairs. We wanted to sit down to eat so we sat in the upstairs back room. We ordered our food using the QR code. You have to get your own flatware and water. The chicken with the grits was excellent. Pork chop was okay, not as good as the chicken. There was a live band on the stage in the garden that played only through 9am.

I REALLY wanted to love this place because I've been dying to come here forever. We walked in and…read moreimmediately into a little wine shop, which was super cute and the woman working up front was so nice. So far we're off to a great start. Then we walked into the courtyard which was packed (so like people must love this place i get it). There was finally an open table and we had been waiting for a spot so when the people at a table started getting up, I was literally milliseconds away from sitting down. Enter: an older woman who apparently had been training for the Table Olympics her entire life. She basically TRAMPLED me, threw all her stuff on the table and goes, "Sorry, this is taken." OKAY GRANDMA YOU WIN. I don't want it anymore. She clearly deserved it way more than I did. Absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant, but at this point my evening had already gotten off to a weird start. We headed upstairs to the bar where there were two open seats. There were four of us so two sat and two stood which was fine. Unfortunately, the bartender acted like our presence was personally offensive. We felt so awkward and unwelcome the entire time. BUT...the bread? AMAZING. Carb Queen here. And the bacon wrapped dates were also seriously good. (I loved them so much I have been making them at home, like who would of thought). So I'm torn. The food we had was great, but overall the experience just wasn't what I was hoping for after wanting to come here for so long. Maybe we caught it on an off night because I really do want to give it another shot.

Great accidental proximity location! My wife chose my hotel and when I checked in I looked to see…read moreif I had any nearby bookmarks. This place was directly across the street. Dive bar vibe is the feels. String lights, old creaky floors, big bay window, lots of outdoor seats, plenty of bar for us all! Total NOLA vibe! Bartenders were cool. I got a bit inebriated twice here and ate here once. Love that I could just walk back to my swanky hotel. Solid choice, C! Check out Hotel Henrietta if you are nearby. I asked the guy behind the what he recommended. Instantly he said "the mussels". You don't have to say another word, bruh. I had the mussels for my meal, obviously. Wow. They were perfect. The sauce was amazing, not sure what the white shit was, don't partake in that mess. The mussels were expertly cooked and seemed really fresh. The hand cut fries were also really good. I loved this meal and this joint! If I were local, I'd be a regular for sure. Get your ass in here if you can. I would advise getting the mussels. 100% '26 - 95

Chimmay on tap was dry but a Fin Du Monde was available to save the night. Big portion of house mushrooms had some bonus artichoke hearts and peppers in there for a nice surprise. This sport has a retro undisturbed decor and vibe. Bartender was able to make a nice substitute suggestion of a red wine for me also.

If you're looking for a relaxed, stylish spot on Magazine Street in New Orleans to enjoy great…read morenatural wine and light bites, Really Really Nice Wines lives up to its name in every way. The atmosphere inside is clean, and inviting, with a beautiful light wood bar and an impressive lineup of unique, small-producer bottles on display behind the counter. It's the kind of neighborhood place where you immediately feel welcome to sit down, sip, and take your time. The wine selection is fantastic and thoughtfully curated and served in lovely glassware. To pair with our drinks, we ordered from their "Really Really Nice Snacks" menu. We got a charcuterie and cheese board featuring sliced salami, soft and aged cheeses, marcona almonds, cornichons, fig jam, and fresh crusty bread. Everything was fresh, delicious, and paired wonderfully with the wine. Pro tip: They also host free weekly wine tastings on Thursdays (from 5-7 PM), which is such a fantastic perk for the community and a fun way to discover new favorite bottles. Whether you're stopping by to pick up a bottle, catching their Thursday tasting, or pulling up a stool at the bar for a glass and a bite, this place is an absolute gem. Highly recommend!

Whether you're there to grab a bottle of wine or there to sip a glass and shave a small bite it's worth it! The ambiance is amazing and the service is impeccable.
