    Berry pie and Raspberry thumbprint

Raspberry latte, Blackberry Strawberry pie, and a Raspberry Thumbprint. Oh my gosh!! So so good! I would love to come back to this site. Friendly staff made our traveling party feel welcome. Thank you!

This place is a gem! Baked goods are delicious and people are the nicest!... good vibe to sit down and work or just hang out!

3.5 for sure! Small space, line almost to the backdoor. Most of the food was very good, bagel was a little tough on the teeth for a 6 yr. old. Banana bread was in need of more bananas and butter flavor. Strawberry-blueberry bars...so good! Caramel latte was on the bitter side even after adding more half and half, sugar. Service was reasonably fast.

We were already at Old Harbor Books when my husband and I saw this cute little coffee shop tucked away in the back of it.. so we grabbed some lattes, and I got their chai and it was good! The staff was friendly and helpful. Picked up some HoneyMama's as well !!

Sign clearly says 12.95 for the coffee. Not what is charged.

watch the prices...politely pointed out the the price on the sign was not what was rung up but the employees did not correct it. The price posted should be the price paid. very frustrating!

We stopped in just as they opened on a Tuesday morning and beat the rush. It appears to be the place to be. I'm simple liking drip black coffee. It was great. And even better with a raspberry peach crumble. We'll be back tomorrow.

    Great coffee!

It's a coffee shop with some baked goods, and a good one at that! Despite the "breakfast & brunch", category, I wouldn't recommend coming in the back door if you want to eat something hot off the griddle. This is more of a snacky, grab-n-go kinda joint. Staff was really nice and the coffee was really fresh and strong. Typical "funky coffee shop" interior. Worth a stop, just don't come in hungry!

Yummy baked goods and delicious coffee. Glad that Sitka has a nice coffee shop option. Reasonably priced as well, which was surprising.

The service was poor. The ladies at the counter seemed to not want to be bothered with helping people..

This is the best coffee in Sitka. We tried highliner first, but their coffee was too weak to drink. Try this cafe if you're visiting!

The kind of love that envelops you when you walk into a room, instantly making you feel welcome. That is the kind of magic that simple ingredients in the hands of those who actually care can have. Ma chère amie, please do not imagine that the menu is limited only to old-world gluten heaven. No. The magic extends to those who cannot partake. However, you must peruse that menu at your own leisure. For me, as I can happily partake in such hedonistic gluten, I had a special of turkey, pesto, avocado, and the ooziest, creamiest, most decadent cheese that, alas, I do not recall the name of. But the real superstar, nay, the Josephine Baker of pastries was a pistachio bun (?!?). This was heaven paired perfectly with strong coffee. I may add, it was the only good coffee I had in Alaska. One would expect this in Paris, in a small shop run by a husband and wife with an oven that has been lit for maybe a 100 years. But to stumble into this slice of heaven, accidentally. Divine. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

People will tell you to bring an umbrella to Alaska. No, you should really just bring a really good waterproof hoody coat. It was bulky, but it protected me from the elements. It's just too windy for an umbrella. Anyway, I thought about trying the spruce tip latte. I ended up getting a Dirty Chai. It was very good. I didn't get to try my husband's Mexi-Mocha with cayenne pepper. He really liked the flavors. He's never had a spicy latte, so it was a real treat for him. The shop has some moose chocolate treats, gifts, flowers, and unique gift items. It was my first time seeing Alaskan sea otter fur earrings. An Alaska native artist makes them.
