I was in a bit of a crunch, but Shawn was able to come out on short notice and calculate exactly where the pergola posts would be placed. This allowed my landscaping crew to know where not to pour cement and where to leave tiles loose for the post installation. Thanks to his quick response and expertise, the landscaping project was able to move forward without a hitch. When it came time to install the pergola, everything came together perfectly. We hired a general contractor and agreed to use all of their selected subcontractors except for a small subset we insisted on selecting ourselves, including High Tech Screens & Shades. We thankfully discovered High Tech Screens via online searches, and validated them through our Windows & Doors subcontractor/reseller. (we installed the highest end Marvin Ultimates and Marvin Moderns throughout our project) High Tech (Josh and Justin) arrived as scheduled, and always on time. They assessed and installed custom screens on four of our doors, including two outswinging french doors (2 screens on each), and two single outswinging doors. High Tech's attention to detail and quality work is notable. The finishes match our door trim as desired. The function of the screens are excellent, and the screens "hide-away" from view when not in use / retracted. Further, High Tech's screens and craftsmanship are so good that we unfortunately had a worker inadvertently walk through one of them after installation (the installation was so clean he didn't see the screen). Josh and Justin found time to return to the site within 48 hours and repair the screen so that it works like new. We cannot recommend highly enough High Tech Screens & Shades. If you are looking for a professional job/installation for screens for a high-end home, they are the truly the only firm you need to consider.

Please accept my deepest apologies for the poor review that I left before. He is very hard-working and he is a very honest man. It has been awhile since I have heard from Alex. A huge storm came in and tore down the Patio covering. When this happened, I called Alex to see what he could do to repair it. He responded once saying that he was gonna talk to his engineer, but I never heard back again from him. He has not responded. If you are going to get a Patio covering, it needs to last not just for six months or a year. The Patio recovery should last for years.

Although there was some delay and miscommunication between the two companies, EP never abandoned the project and found ways to satisfy the requirements of US. Also, when there was concern about rain accumulation from the result of the cover creating a gap between the roof and the cover, EP came over and came up with a solution that we hope works come winter. They are responsive, personable and accommodating.

I had installed 3 phantom screens ( one for French doors) which have held up for over 10 years with…read morezero problems. Zero! Well my 95 pound German shepherd crashed through one screen once but that is not Phantom Screen's fault. So today I added 2 more. I got so tired of one traditional screen door that had to be repaired frequently which involved borrowing a truck and dropping it off several miles away. Then borrowing the truck again to pick it up. Finally I realized I had two doors that could use a Phantom Screen and Screens of Northern California was still at the same address so I sent out an e mail. And everything moved quickly. The design is different but the company's responsiveness and quality of work remains stellar. I will miss the push/pull to release the magnets of the original screen door. It is a pretty effective bad guy deterrent at the door to my garage along with another big German Shepherd sleeping at the inside enjoying the breeze! But the new doors' release is welcome at the new locations. And the installer threw in a can of silicone spray. I'd say the only drawback is the screen door seems to be a magnet for dog hair. JK.
