The room that we stayed in was to my (our) surprise, pretty tiny and cramped as it was hard to move around, especially since there were a lot of people. Not too big of a deal, but do take caution. It was well-organized where we stayed, which is all that matters. There are a lot of sporting activities to offer, such as basketball in one room, hockey which includes ice and roller skating as well, and an indoor field that holds baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and even frisbee as well with even more names to list. There are many sporting activities to do here, and this is the place to come for get-togethers and/or just to hang out. Overall, a great place to visit. There was one time during a hockey game that a ref was sitting down eating during a game instead of out on the rink. I yelled over and asked him to ref the game he was paid to do and he proceeded to curse back at me with a lot of foul language. He still works there. Management is constantly contacted and nothing changes. This week a ref offered to get me a chair while I walked past him. He was only able to do that because he was standing in the penalty box on his cell phone while the puck was in play. I replied I want you to ref I don't want a chair. They are paid $25 for 40 mins of socializing, eating, and just skating away from a game in play. During the same game the other ref was hanging on the goal post the entire game talking with the goalie and not paying attention to the whole game. I have never seen a place that is a free for all for the employees and they have no manager around making sure they are doing what they are supposed to do. As long as they collect the money from all the teams the facility is still left in the dirty run down condition that it has been in for years. Hundreds of dollars taken from each team and they cannot afford to fix the score board so you can read the numbers? Several bulbs are out and just left without repair.

Overall, our son loves it. He's having fun on the field. The park also has a basketball court which is great to keep others (such as parents or siblings) entertained. There's a trail to walk across the field. I haven't yet ventured it but when I do, I'll be sure to update this post. There a huge golf course next to the baseball field. At the field are a few bleachers but recommend that if you're here to watch a game, bring your own folding chair and an umbrella. The sun can be very brutal here in the afternoon. There's plenty of parking here. The only annoyance is when parents create their own parking lane nearby the field entrance blocking the large entry way into the field. Unfortunately, there's always that one parent but that's not the park's fault. The restrooms are available at the park but it's locked. Not cool so not had to take 1 star away!

Its my son's first year so we don't know how competitive the league is yet. We just want our son to get some exercise and have some fun in the process. Its a nice park with parking and its across from a lake in Wayne. Its right off of route 23 near a fire house. They have a baseball field which is used for the football fields as well. There is also a bathroom station right next the field but was locked when I tried to use it. On the side of the field and parking lot, there is a gated basketball full court. While the kids practice you can play basketball or shoot around. I'm sure it will get busier once the weather gets better.

There were so many structures that all the children had plenty of personal space. Special features included a roller-based slide, a zip-line, and a rope climb. It's an excellent playground I can add to the rotation. Come out and play! NOTES/TIPS: **Picnic tables, plenty of benches, and 2 porta-potties on-site. **If the main parking lot is full, additional parking is 200 ft. away. **The playground is next to a basketball court, baseball field, and soccer field.

Benches for eating are at the entrance located close enough to watch your kids playing basketball or on the playground. This playground is neat... truly a castle inspired theme. Great for playing peekaboo with your toddlers with many mazes to get lost in and still be sure your child is safe and can't fall out the sides (too easily). There's also a slide that can be climbed which my son was very intrigued with, once he got to the top he'd jump on the big boy slide and come out the other end, he's 14 months so there's really so much for him to explore. There's also bigger slides for older kids, different monkey bars to climb, kiddie and big kid swings, little castles with benches and tables to picnic in, and plenty of benches surrounding the playground for parents to hang out in. We lived up to our mantra: PLAY HARD NAP HARD! Baby was knocked out as soon as we got in the car so I must say it was a good day. My name is Francis and I approve of this playground. YSA (yelp service announcement) When you come here punch into your GPS this address: 651 Shunkpike Rd. Chatham NJ otherwise you will get lost.
