Review Visit: December 23rd, 2012 Pizza the size of the hood of your car! Seriously. This place specializes in offering a pizza the size of the hood of your car. It is a massive 30″ pizza! Could you imagine how long it would take to eat that?! A friend told me about this place and their $5 deal. The $5 meal will get you a JUMBO slice of pizza and a soda. The slice is taken from one of their 30″ pizza, so you are getting slice that is probably 13″ long. Plus a soda with free refills (at the time of my visit) to boot. They do offer a fairly large menu to choose from, if you do not desire pizza. The place is tucked away behind Bradley University. One can only imagine how popular this place has to be for broke college students or for those who are throwing some college parties. While we were there, we saw some students come by and grab a jumbo pizza and load it in their trunk. Yes, their trunk. Yes, they made it fit. Sure, it's a bit of a novelty and the pizza slice, in my opinion, was only decent... But it's definitely a place to visit at least once and spend the $5 on the combo meal. read more

The lady that is always here taking orders is amazing he always helps me and my girlfriend out on a late night she's great she's always in a good mood and just all around a good person just discovered this place and is been our new favorite. We were in town for a concert and this place got suggested to us. We ordered a large and medium pizza with breadsticks. Our total was over $80. They only brought us a medium pizza and breadsticks. I called them back that night. They NEVER showed back up with our other pizza. I have called several times to get my pizza refunded and I keep getting the run around! The pizza was definitely over priced for the quality and the customer service is terrible! I wouldn't not recommend! read more

I ordered a chicken tenders meal, chicken parm sandwich, a side salad with ranch, an order of fried cauliflower, two bottles of pop, and some brownies bites via Yelp/Eat24. $50. The fries looked brown and were very greasy. Tenders were meh. The cheese on my chicken parm was barely melted and it had no flavor. The cauliflower were ok. The side salad was a decent size. Literally the worst food in Peoria by a landslide. The "wings" are the size of a nickel, soggy, and do not have a drop of sauce on them. The fries are even soggier than the wings and taste like garbage. The ranch is not ranch. Jalapeño poppers are absurd. The cheese melts like plastic and curdles, they are absolutely disgusting. Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor. NEVER order from this embarrassment of a restaurant. It makes cafeteria food taste like 5 stars. Just spent 60 plus dollars on food that was completely unedible. Sour tiramisu, green Italian beef meat, rotten meatballs on sub. I asked for a refund & owner does not allow it I was told. I was offered replacements. Unacceptable . Just gross. Do not waste your time or money here. read more

Not a fan at all. I live in Chicago where the Bacci's pizza is great. This on the other hand, nasty! I ordered three sausage and pepperoni slices and when I got them back to the hotel, the sausages tasted weird to me. I thought that maybe it was my tastebuds but after a few minutes, my mother asked me if the pizza tasted funny...we both stopped eating and smelled the sausage and came to the conclusion that it was SPOILED! After calling the place and complaining, the manager insisted that there sausage is delivered "fresh" and there was no way it could be spoiled...yea ok! The crap was spoiled and disgusting!!! Also the place isn't clean, bugs & flies everywhere, none of the cooks wore gloves (even after touching the phones, brooms, countertops, etc) & at one point I watched one of the employees blow on the pizza to remove excess flour...this was one of the worst places I've ever been! read more

For their supreme it seemed like a pepperoni pizza as finding the other ingredients was hard. Not sure I even tasted the sausage. The pizza here is not great. But I love you can get a huge slice and a drink for 5 dollars. I get more wiggle room for taste when I get a good deal. The slice of pizza has as much as 4 slices of regular pizza. Having worked 3rd shift for years, it was a blessing that they deliver until 3am. They won't deliver if the order is under 10 dollars do be prepared to find something to make up the difference if you're just ordering a 5 dollar slice of pizza. They also do not deliver drinks so you don't get the free drink that comes with the slice of pizza. I have had their pizza fries but was not impressed. I rarely order delivery from Bacci because it gets expensive. First you have to order at least 10 dollars to get delivery. Then you have the delivery fee. With a tip, that simple 10 dollar order can push over 20 dollars. If the food tasted better than maybe it would be worth it. read more

People diss this place so much. But it's way better than the rap it gets. Sure, this place is open til 3AM, and it's a haven for drunken underclassmen coming home from frat parties. But have you ever gone during the day? Have you ever gotten something besides the large slice + drink for $5? I see and talk to the "Bacci Bros" at the gym (Markin) all the time. I decided this place needed another chance, and NOT at a time when drunken 18-year-olds are away from home for the first time running around everywhere. First, the $5 slices during the day are way better than the $5 slices at night. And can you blame them? It's hard baking tons of pizzas and taking orders while 50 screaming freshmen come in from the Sig Nu party that just got busted. Also, if you order an actual pizza (not the giant pizza), it's very well done. Nice crust, tons of cheese, good portion of sauce, and a generous portion of toppings. The calzones, fried mushrooms, and mozz sticks are also solid. A favorite of my friends is the Polish and Fries ($3.95). You get a solid Polish and a TON of fries for under $5. And if you're feeling brave, try the Bacci's challenge. You gotta eat 3 jumbo slices in 15 mins, but you get a free shirt. The people that work here are great, and that's what makes Bacci's a place you need to check out at a normal time. If you only come at 2:30AM, I can't blame you for not wanting to come here. But if you come at a normal hour, you'll have a new found appreciation for this place. Give it a chance. read more

Customer Service is UNACCEPTABLE from this location. I will be happy to upload my picture of when I ordered until the time delivered which was over an hour and 15 mins after I was told it would be 20 - 30 mins and it arrived luke warm, perhaps the delivery guy stopped at the casino first. After speaking with the "wonderful" manager Shawn he said my option was to come in and get a replacement. Ahhh I ordered delivery for a reason. I was never offered a credit or a refund. Living close to Bacci's I hoped it would be good. I have high standards for pizza, being from Brooklyn, I don't consider bread with cheese and canned sauce a pizza. Its hours make it convenient, but otherwise I would suggest Agatucci's. read more

I do love Bacci's. The pizza is great and whoever here said this place sucks must not be from a small town where there is not a pizza slice wider than your face, with a soda for $5. Gross!!! This is my second time ordering from them The first time I ordered a meat ball sub and it was disgusting and soggy this was about 4 months ago. I decided to order something else this time and give it another shot I was at work and this was the only thing open to deliver. I ordered chicken strips the tiniest thinnest strips I had ever seen! but the taste was better then the rest of the food although you guys can take a lesson in using seasoning! I also ordered fried Zucchini and some moz stick's. The Zucchini was black it was so burnt or maybe fried in real old grease it was so nasty It took for ever to get the tast out of my mouth from just tasting it. soooo here I am eating moz sticks im like two down at this point look over and there are two black hairs it looked just like pubic hair I threw up!!!!!!! I called the establishment and told them about my situation I asked for a refund. the guy kept offering me a replacement. I don't understand how businesses like this can still survive here, while places like Quizno's and Imo's fail. Peoria has a very strange taste. I've been here once. They had a big cheese pizza sitting under some warming lights in the front. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. They took a slice of the cheese, put some pepperonis on top of it, popped it in the microwave, and gave it to me. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever purchased. Love this little pizza place right next to Bradley U. It's a small hole in the wall that has some really good pizza! Compared to the chains, its pricier, but definatley worth it when you don't want the same pizza over and over. Their jalepeno poppers were amazing. Very surprised that you could place an order online as well. If you place an order online for the first time, you get 15% off. They also sell Eli's Cheesecake slices!!! Convenient, cheap food at the wee hours of the morning. Most of the menu seems to be frozen foods that are fried and served in take out containers. The wings are okay though, and the sausage sandwich, the prices are reasonable and they deliver. Great place for college students in a pinch for time, food and money. read more

Ordered at 1:00 am on a Tuesday after spending day at OSF and got a pizza ,salad , combo sandwich , and a couple cheesy breads with garlic they were a little long on delivery about 80 mins. Prices were ok , customer service was good , pizza was good and plenty of it , sandwich was ok but salad and garlic cheesy bread were not very good , salad dressing was bland and flat and the cheesy bread was like a sub bun with a slice of cheese on it , considering the time of order and quality of pizza I'll hit these guys up again read more
