I wish that I'd read these reviews before placing my order. Just like many other reviewers, it took more than a month after I placed the order to finally receive it. I've seen other website list a product as "Out Of Stock" but I'm guessing that what Babbit's Online does is, place the order themselves with the manufacturer after we place ours. I brought an older 1982 Honda Goldwing that needed some repairs so I paid a friend $200 to transport the bike 80 miles to Babbitts. Prior to bringing the bike, I was assured TWICE that my bike would be looked at and repairs will be addressed. Mind you, ZERO mention of any diagnostic fees, which when asked about I was just told told to bring the bike in and they would look at it. So I dropped the bike off on a Sunday and by Monday 11:00am I received a call from Antonio in the service department who went on to explain how it was going to cost me nearly ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS just to diagnose the issues I mentioned with ZERO of that money being used later for parts or labor. Basically I feel this was just a nice way of Antonio saying "piss of dummy we don't want to work on your bike". In closing, I highly recommend AVOIDING this unprofessional, incompetent, and downright greedy business! read more

Horrible experience with a muffler purchase. Did not make up for their mistakes in any way.

Ordered a plow mount from them, received an email a couple days later letting me know it was backordered (better than most reviews I've read). All good with the communication until I wanted to cancel the order. I emailed them asking to cancel, it was acknowledged that my order would be cancelled and refunded. A few days later the order still showed processing, so I emailed and asked them to verify the order was cancelled, in which they replied the paperwork had been submitted. A few days later I get an email stating the part was shipped, which is odd because it was backordered, this ships from MN to MI so it only takes a couple days. That means this part was shipped at most 2 days after I got the backorder notification. Trying to get a refund was impossible because the order had "shipped" 6 days after I got a cancellation confirmation via email. They were going to ship me the part 6 days after I cancelled it and make me go through the return process, which involves a 25% restocking fee. Unacceptable business practices, on top of that they magically found the part in their shipping area and pulled it before it went out only after I did a charge back with my bank and said they couldn't refund me because of the charge back. This place is a ripoff.....i puchased a polaris skid plate and to make sure I called and gave them model, serial number etc.....they stated that if it doesnt fit they will refund.....guess what it doesnt fit and they will not refund without shipping and restocking fee......75% of the cost of the unit.....everywhere their rating is below 2.6 except for google 4.6 .....makes you wonder if google is opening a new revenue link.....just wondering as I have never seen this big of a difference in ratings Use at your own risk read more

BEWARE: This company just screwed me royally. After 11 days of placing an order with Babbitt's, I finally decided to call and figure out why all I had received had been an order confirmation. I was told one of the items was currently on back order and there was no estimate as to when I would actually be sent the part I had paid for. I was given the option to cancel the order over the phone and search for another business that actually had my parts in stock. We were settled and believing I would receive my refund as I had been told, I placed another order with Partzilla at a premium. This brings the story to today, two days after cancelling the order. Suddenly this afternoon, I receive an email from Babbitt's informing me that my order had been shipped out! I politely called and this time spoke to a male representative who sounded like he wanted to do anything else on the planet but listen to what I had to say and why I was upset. Rather, this gentleman shifted the blame to me and began explaining that due to "by-laws" they are legally allowed to ship items out for three days after cancellation without informing or even speaking to the customer. His advice was for me to ship everything back (internationally, as I am Canadian and a student who can't afford to lose money on two of the exact same orders) for a refund. Now, I don't know if this by-law talk was legitimate considering I am not American but regardless, this is some of the worst business practices and customer service I have ever experienced. They are making it seem like I'm the one who made a mistake and don't want to own up to what they did and make things right. Believe me, you don't want to go through this. Update: I would like to add that shipping costs $54.60USD one way, meaning that Babbitt's is asking me to pay over $100USD FOR THEIR MISTAKE! I just want my money back and p.s., it still hasn't arrived even though I placed the order on September 16th (It is now September 29). Update (September 30): They just contacted me and said the best they can do is waive a RESTOCKING FEE!!! if I return the products, while still paying to return them at my own cost!!! What is this? Update: After admitting that it is their policy to inform customers of their ridiculous cancellation policy, they are still failing to recognize their mistake as no one ever informed me on this. They have effectively disregarded my concerns and shut off communication. read more

I can't recommend this company. It's been almost a month since I placed my order for a few gaskets, a Seal, small spring, and a fuel cock for a popular model Yamaha inverter type RV generator. A total of 7 pieces, five part numbers. Almost a month later order I'm still waiting for the bulk of the order, and apparently been put on the "ignore this customer " list. If you like paying upfront for parts that are shipped one at a time, weeks apart, and really arrogant and petty customer service that is fronted by hours long wait queues listening to the same nauseating hold message over and over and over and over, then, By Gawd, Babbitts Online is for you. Do not order any parts from here unless you know exactly what you need. I made the mistake as a first time buyer of ordering a part i thought i needed and when i realized i didn't need it I returned it. To my surprise they charged me $41 to restock the item. Nowhere in the purchasing process does it say that they charge a 25% restocking fee. (you have to specifically go look for that info) I called to see about getting a credit and they talked over me once they realize the nature of the call, they have 0 customer service and even the supervisor I spoke with was just as rude as the associate. Do not order from here unless you know for sure you are keeping the part. I will never do business here again. read more

I placed an order online for yYamaha Rhino parts. They were absolutely terrible in communication and shipping! They back ordered half the order without letting me know. They shipped the back order USPS and it got destroyed in shipping. I have yet to receive a refund or the parts. read more

I was super excited to find side fairing at affordable price. The only thing that I was really upset about it the side fairing doesn't come with the side sticker that says zx10r and there was no mention of that when ordering the part and I was very upset. I ordered a part that I needed by a specific date as I was traveling. I was assured the part would be delivered no later than 3 days prior to my 'drop dead' date. When I got to 2 days from the deadline, and without having ever received a 'item shipped' notification, I reached out to Babbitts. I was told 'oops sorry, we'll have an ETA for you in 5-7 business days'. Are you kidding me??? I called and was told they couldn't get the part and that they'd refund my money. The refund has not happened as yet, and I am screwed because I did not have enough time to find an alternate source for my part before traveling. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If they had just been forth-coming at the beginning and said they didn't have it, I could have made other arrangement. Poor service, I will never do business with them again. read more

I ordered some Yamaha parts from here. (couple gaskets and a bolt) two separate orders. I still haven't received them, been over a month. When I called, they told me that they were shipped almost 2 weeks ago. When I asked them to help track them they did. Told me they were delivered. Once again I never received them. I asked if they would reship to me. They said they wont do anything to help me and I have to take it up with the us postal service.. Like they are going to do anything for me..
