Not only is Ben a skilled and experienced locksmith, he's kind and empathetic. My lock broke and my key wouldn't work. I was worried because I couldn't get to my dog. He got is in and did a temporary fix. Two days later, he replaced the entire piece at a very reasonable price. I couldn't recommend him more strongly. read more

Ben is heaven-sent!!!! I've been in Property Management quite some time and starting using Ben and BA Locksmiths services around 5-7 years ago. I was stuck at a Foreclosed Property in Redwood City for hours which I had no access to and couldn't find any locksmith to show up to. I finally spoke with Ben and he was not only able to show up in a little over a hour but also get me access to all the locked suites and make key copies at a VERY affordable rate! Since that day Ben has been my go to Locksmith in all cases. We've worked together on numerous Foreclosures, Evictions and traditional cases. Ben is not only the best Locksmith in the Bay Area in my opinion he is also a good, honest, fair person who I am honored to call a friend!!! read more

Ben is extremely reliable, professional, and personable. Amazing service!! Would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone!

This guy is awesome. My daughter locked herself in our room when I was at work and my wife didn't know how to get the door unlocked. I called BA Locksmith up and told him about the situation and what type of lock it was. He gave me clear instruction on how to get the lock to release. I told my wife and my daughter was safe and sound. The most impressive part is that he called me back to make sure everything was OK. He also could have came out and charged me for a 2 minute job, but he didn't. He helped me out without anything in it for himself. That's a big deal in my book, especially with the economy the way it is. This dude is awesome. read more

I just bought a house and discovered that two of the locks were broken. I found these guys on Yelp and called. They were able to recommend a brand of deadbolt that would easily rekey with the rest of my doors and arrived the next day on time to install them. They even fixed the misaligned lock in the door so that it would close more easily. I'd recommend them again. read more

I had my purse stolen including my house keys and had to get my locks changed right away. When my front door lock broke the day before we were going on vacation, it was panic time. I checked Yelp and found BA Locksmith and all the great reviews. I called Ben and he came over as soon as he was free. He checked the lock and knew it was not practical to repair, being an antique with either no available, or hard to find, parts. He made a great suggestion to install a new deadbolt, and we could still use the old door handle and latch without having to remove it or make ugly changes to the door. He had the new lock with him and was done in a little over an hour. Ben was friendly, open and knew his products. He definitely deserves all the 5 star ratings! read more

I've been so busy with life that I realized I never left a review for this great guy. For starters this was the most friendly guy of all the people I called when needing a locksmith. I let him know the situation I was in and the time was very tricky since it was a eviction and we needed to get the building re-keyed. He was very accommodating to that and arrived soon after we we given the keys to our building. The best part was after Ben arrived he showed us the options we have for our locks and the different levels of protection and the best way to go about it. With the highest level of protection we had all the locks keyed and replaced in no time. Definitely saved in my phone as important number just in case. read more

Ben delivers on all levels! I called about a month ago about my safe which I lost the key to. He came out to evaluate the lock. After trying several things he could not get it open because it was a very uncommon lock, but he helped me find the instructions to get a replacement key. About a month later, the safe company still had not responded to my request, so I gave Ben a call again. He was over in the same day and drilled my safe open in record time. He is a skilled locksmith but more importantly a trustworthy businessman who will help you find a solution even if it is not with him. He just wants his customers to be happy! read more

I had called the local USPS to obtain a replacement mail box key. The rep advised a work order would have to be processed. From there it would take a few days and I would have to return to get the key. I did not want to wait and have to make two trips to the post office. I than began searching for a locksmith. I chose BA locksmith based on all the stellar Yelp reviews. Ben provide excellent customer service. He changed out the old lock and gave me two new keys. Fantastic! This guy was quick, professional, and he did a great job. Our old door lock had been difficult to use lately, grinding and clicking. Finally a key broke off inside the lock. I highly recommend this guy. read more

On time, professional, gave me lots of options and recommendations. I really liked that he didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need. I really liked that he gave me options and was like I can always come back if you want something different. We will be hiring him back when my partner gets home from sea. I liked that as a female by myself, he didn't try to take advantage like many other contractors do (ie Platnium landscape in Boise- a small flower bed job wanted to charge me 3300 and then when the neighbor arrived he dropped it to 2700, ended up doing the job myself with the neighbor for $5). So I really appreciated BA Locksmits Honesty & Professionalism read more

Ben was awesome! After calling at least 5 other locksmiths who couldn't respond in time, I finally called BA Locksmith, and Ben came promptly and saved the day.
