This place has a wide variety of drinks and food from boba to macarons. Came for a hot lemon ginger tea which was way too boiling hot. I like their cafe logo but their coffee sleeve was very thin in terms of insulation. There is plenty of seating inside too, and I like their wall of local flyers.

Such a cute little cafe with so many options! I often see people working on laptops inside while enjoying a drink. I'm drawn to keep going back to try all the different specialty drinks.

Came in while I was waiting for a show at Theatre Exile. Staff didn't seem particularly friendly, but, they had some nice cheesecake. It was a nice place to sit and wait though.

The place did not seem very busy but they clearly do a booming door dash business as their pick up shelf was full. We got a ice caramel macchiato and a regular coffee. Both were fine. The ambiance is quiet, but the staff was not very friendly. Took a few minutes to be acknowledged, but our drinks came out quickly.

Pic of the very *untoasted* bun after two soggy bites - didn't think to take a pic until after picking the Brie off to eat plain

I've been really excited to try this spot for a while since their menu promotes having both gluten free bagels and rolls. I assumed (should have checked but still) that the gf roll would be baguette style since they were listed together and ordered the Brie honey on one... I got a soggy gluten free hamburger bun with a few slices of lukewarm Brie and honey slapped in the middle. When I asked to have it toasted in hopes of making it more palatable I was told it had been, which I'm still confused by. Giving 2 stars because the strawberry green tea was still good.

The service w as s fine they were really nice but I just didn't like the drinks or the sweets they were really cute but they were lacking in flavor

Everything bagel with avocado, tofutti, and sun-dried tomato.

It's AWESOME that they have diary-free cream cheese here! so nice to have the option not to resort to hummus, lol. The person who took my order was lovely. I think some parts of the ambience could use a revamp, but the mural is great. A lot of smoothie and juice options that I did not get the chance to try, but I'll be back. The outdoor seating also looked nice.

I like the Iced coffee sandwiches! Feel free to bring your dog in here too while you're ordering- dog friendly! Quaint little cafe. I got the avocado, tomato, cream cheese (I think this is #3) on a toasted white sandwich. The sandwiches are made to order so it takes like 20-30 minutes especially if they get busy just fyi. Slow Service. Iced coffee is average but I think the sandwiches are good quality and they give a decent amount of toppings. Sandwiches are about ~7. The bread makes it pretty filling. Cute spot to grab a bite to eat for lunch. It get kind of crowded inside but I saw some people with laptops doing work/studying. I think this is a good place if you're vegan.

B2 has plenty of sunlight and lots of drinks on the menu!

I visited B2 the other day for the first time, and tried an interesting chai tea and yogurt smoothie. It was actually really delicious and filled my need for something spicy and a bit filling. The menu of food options looked really good, too, with many healthy / vegan choices, but I will have to return again in the future and get something to eat there! This place was very crowded around 5pm on a weeknight - most people taking up a table to read or use their laptop alone. The tables were a bit crammed together - so my conversation with my friend wasn't too "private" but I do think that the single people at the tables on either side of us were listening to their headphones while we were chatting! It's at a very convenient intersection of East Passyunk near the Acme and POPE, so they definitely get good business here... and it's easy to see why! The staff were overall very friendly, the warm atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, and the options were all that you'd expect from a coffee shop like this! I'll be back.

People were nice, had a pineapple banana smoothie which was quite decent for the price. Probably the most affordable in the area.

It's casual but you won't be out of place if you dress up. For food, we started with the crispy calamari that came with a citrus frisee salad and was already sauced up. It was a unique style that I enjoyed and much lighter than other calamari dishes I've had. The petite plateau was perfect for sharing among the 4 of us. Everything was fresh and delicious while being presented so beautifully. The cocktails I had were good. They were different from ones I typically order which I thought was fun to experiment with new flavors to see what I like. One had a pickle garnish and the other was with a non-smoky mezcal. For entrees, most of us got pasta which were all handmade and tasty. My favorite was the one with crab & vodka sauce. The cacio e Pepe & mushroom ones were also good. What stood out the most during the meal was dessert. We got the double chocolate mousse and that was one of the best chocolate mousses I've ever had! It was so gorgeous and topped with a sunflower seed praline & had tangy passionfruit sauce at the bottom which made for a flavor explosion. I was so impressed! The key lime panna cotta was also a work of art topped with candied sourdough that provided a nice crunch to the creamy texture of this dish. It was so yummy! I can't wait to go back again!

I went to Middle Child a few weeks ago just after 3, only to find it closes at 3. Today I returned, around 1, and there was a good crowd there having lunch. I ordered the Surfer, and the Hash Brown Potatoes. The Surfer is Middle Child's most popular sandwich. It's made on a Ciabatta bun, and has a thick layering of tender, lean, House Turkey breast, with melty Swiss cheese, arugula, blueberry chutney, and Duke's mayo. It's hard to describe just how delicious this sandwich was. My biggest concern was the Ciabatta bun - it's not one of my favorites, as I've found them to be tough and difficult to bite through. My fears were quickly put to rest after the first bite! The bun had a slightly crispy exterior - and when I followed through with my first bite, the tender, soft interior of the Ciabatta was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it complemented the thick savory Turkey, arugula, chutney and mayo! It was one of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Now, if that wasn't enough, don't forget, I ordered the Hash Brown Potatoes. It said Hash Browns on the blackboard, see attached picture, but these 'weren't your Mama's hash browns'! They are described online as Latka'd Hash Browns. They are thick crispy squares that combine a potato pancake latke with a hash brown texture. The interior reminded me of my mother's potato kugel, which I still reminisce about. In one word, those fried crispy potato squares were outstanding. It's 'a must try' and goes so well with the Surfer! Last, but not least, the Limeade! It was so refreshing! Not too tart, not too sweet... just right! I'll be returning to Middle Child in the not too distant future!

The corned beef was an enticing vibrant pink, tender and juicy, with a perfectly balanced and pure saltiness that accentuated the beef's natural flavor. The scrambled eggs were incredibly smooth and creamy, complemented by the rich, melted cooper sharp cheese. The rye was toasted with butter, giving it a thin, crispy crust and a soft interior--a bit softer than Hershel's East Side Deli's, fragrant but not greasy. Every part was delicious, and the combination was harmonious and delightful. The portion of ingredients was very generous, definitely worth the $14.50 price. The service was a little slow, but the moment you tasted it, you would forgive everything!
