I popped in for a late lunch. You order at the counter and your food is ready in no time. I had the Falafel Sandwich with Harissa Tehina. The sandwich was delicious and so flavorful with the sauce. Harissa was the perfect level of spice for me, I usually like 2-3 out of 5 on the spice scale. The Lemonanna drink was also great and refreshing. Only downside is that it was really cold inside. Pick a tahini shake (I go for original or coffee but no halvah on top). We ordered takeout for seven for a work lunch today and had a feast! They mixed up our order a bit and we received three plain fries and one shawarma fries instead of the opposite, but I fortunately had shawarma spice in my house so we dipped the fries in that and all was well. Plus, we had such a wide selection of dips (shug, amba, harissa, harissa tahini, shug tahini, amba tahini, hummus) we could make our fries taste like all kinds of yum. While I prefer to have my shawarma fries hot on the spot - we had out of town colleagues who also had to catch a train and plane - takeout was our only choice. Portions are huge - I had the second half of my salad for dinner. I think they forgot my dressing that was supposed to be on the side, but I really didn't need it. Among the combo options, the fries I got were not impressive in portion size, but the shwarma spice, whatever that is, was utterly mouthwatering. Seriously, the consumption to eat the fries first upon opening the bag bordered on mind control. I was seemingly the only person who did not order a shake, and they looked magnificent, particularly the mint chip, but I just didn't have room for one, sadly. The seltzer water I got instead (which I just learned is a Jewish thing) was an adequate consolation prize. My mom and I decide to split the salad because we wanted some veggies for lunch (I ordered the salad with extra salad and pita top chips so we'd have more to share).
