If you're looking for a deal or thrift store prices.. look somewhere else. The prices were CRAZY for a thrift store. And it smelt like straight up weed in the back. Yikes. May be the worst thrift store I've ever been to. read more

B-Thrifty - A very heavily worn polo - Thrift Stores Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

This is actually an amazing thrift store. I'm going to admit that I have a few that I like better than this one, but I'll let you all have this one, as it is in my top 10 and I don't like to publicize my secret spots. I do go here more for kids stuff than adult stuff, but they do have good selections in certain areas. You will have to figure those sections out for yourselves. Lol Prices are high for sneakers, no matter the quality, you are gonna see some dirty Walmart sneakers for $22.99 in here but don't let that stop you from checking out some of their deals. Compared to the other B-Thrifty store(s), this one is much more service oriented. I was complaining (via email) about being cussed out by a manager in another store (for sitting down to try on a shoe), and the manager of this store answered my email and apologized and reiterated that what happened in the other store would not happen in their store. It is annoying that they don't have a bathroom, fitting rooms, or a place to sit while you try on shoes (or anywhere to sit beside the furniture section). But is is conveniently located within about 50 feet from a Goodwill store that is clean with bathrooms and fitting rooms, so this is a nice convenient stop on a thrifting afternoon. The other B-Thrifty stores will have really, really, really, really long lines and turn off the lights 30 minutes before closing, which feels violent for no reason as they don't have enough cashiers to check people out and they force us to stand in the dark not even being able to look over the clothes we are intending to purchase for 30 minutes. Anyways, I'm grateful this store doesn't try to play their customers and I usually find something cool and well-priced here if I look long/hard enough. Happy Hunting! read more

Visited the camp springs location today and even though the website says 30% off every Monday as customer appreciation the store supervisor would not honor the website advertisement. Items are also WAY OVERPRICED! read more

B-Thrifty - False ad! - Thrift Stores Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

This is a brand new thrift store in Annandale. It's a welcome addition especially since we just lost the INOVA thrift store up the street. This store is pristine since its new. It is very spacious and laid out nicely. They have their items very organized so it's easy to browse. They have everything from clothes to home goods. They are C19 compliant with sanitation wipes, hand sanitizer & social distancing. The aisles are also wide enough to not feel cramped. They also offer discounts with no membership needed, which is cool: MONDAYS is 30% off the entire store TUESDAYS is Senior Discount with 30% off WEDNESDAYS is 35% off for Military/Police/Firefighters/Teachers THURSDAYS is 30% off for cardholders if you get one of their free VIP cards The staff was super-friendly and Claire was very helpful & so sweet! I only popped in here once but will definitely be back. read more

Yikes! Tried it again but I'm extremely disappointed. The prices are astronomical. There was an expired 20 year old, dirty, stained bottle of shampoo marked $19.99! The items are all picked through and look like they belong in a trash bin. I leave empty handed once again. I have been donating nice, clean items here but now realize they're for profit and not at all a charity. My mistake. Save your time and energy, try another thrift store. read more

I visited here several times during the first 6 months of its opening for business. I bought a lot of stuff at very reasonable prices. The store was extremely busy with people looking for bargains. About 6 months later I went back to buy some more things. It was totally different. Instead of reasonable prices on used items I though I was in a retail store buying used stuff. I've never been back. What a shame. It was an awesome place in the beginning... then went downhill fast. A lot of broken merchandise on shelves, no one around to help, and it was like a ghost town. I drive by there often and the parking lot is basically empty. Very few cars in the parking lot. I'm thinking... of the few cars I do see, are probably employee's cars. read more

10/12/22 This past monday on 10/10/22, I wanted to check out the Thrift shop, because I didn't get to see it on Sunday. This shop was very busy. Staff members work working hard and looking like Denver Broncos fans. A team that very well could have been my team back in 2012 when I got into football officially. Anyhow, I saw many types of clothing that wasn't appealing to me at the time. I saw movies, music and costume jewelry for sale here. The one thing that stood out for me is the way the men's dress pants were hung. Check out the pictures later on. The shoes I saw were all used shoes in very stages, but had to meet a certain level of perfection to be resold. Most of the stuff here were targeted towards women which is why women out numbered the males 96 to 4. If you see something you like here, buy it now or ot is not likely to be there the next time you show up there. I saw the covid Face/Off which is a remake of the movie Mask of Death with Latin hunk Lorenzo Lamas. Wow, he was in Grease??? I didn't know that...but I digress. Oh, and Mask of Death was a take away from another movie with the same name. This was years ago when I discovered this. I decided not to get anything, because there was nothing that got my interest this time around. Still, the next time I am here. I might see something I like. read more

In case you don't know, my dream day consists of dumplings, boba, ice cream and thrifting! This all can be achieved without leaving this Annandale shopping center which consists of The Block (check out Bold Dumpling and Snocream Company), Ben Gong's, AND B-Thrifty. This thrift store is brand spanking new so the aisles are spacious, everything is very easily organized, and only faintly smells of old basement. I always go straight to the children's aisle and I found a whole lot of 90's neon windbreakers and vintage seersucker rompers among a SLEUTH of very current (as in, I recently purchased and still have in my daughter's closet) of Cat and Jack, Zara and H&M items. Somebody's old fast fashion is now my Friday morning impulse buy, I am a fan! In the women's section I found some very early 2000 and 90's era prom dresses which I know would make a Gen Z-er very happy. My college age brother also went on this thrifting trip and picked up a few cool hoodies and record albums for his collection. As others have mentioned, the prices here are a bit --actually a LOT -- inflated (especially in the adult + housewares section) but if you look around you are bound to find something fun. Reading these reviews, I realize they have a lot of weekly deal days so I will be sure to take advantage of it soon! read more

This is a very nice clean store. Everything is very well organized and it is so nice to be a thrift shop that is clean.

The free clothes that they are receiving are overpriced!! This store will not stay in business for too long. Value village is way better!!

Did find some cool Uranium glasses here. Not many mens coats to search from. Always clean and decent prices read more

In many cases everything is crazily overpriced. We were in yesterday for their 50% store-wide sale, old used games that retail for $15 were $20. Knock off travel mugs were nearly $20. We couldn't help but get the sense that they doubled and tripled the price on everything in preparation for their supposed 50% off sale. This is a for-profit store that gets merchandise donated to them, not a commuity service so bear that in mind before being willing to forgive the pricing. read more

Great thrift. Big. Good selection and prices. Don't be there near closing time! They had a rabid security guard yelling at people threatening to call the police if people wouldn't get in line. It was bizarre. read more

Good brands, but seriously with the prices? A basic clay flower pot, $4.99 at Lowes -- $24.99??? Things with original prices still on them priced higher. Nope. Don't go looking for many deals. read more

B-Thrifty - funniest find - Thrift Stores Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

Nothing can be returned except for clothing. There are no fitting rooms so you just have to guess how everything fits. They also sell "luxury" goods behind the counter but don't check if they are real or fake. They price them like they all are real though. Check and research before buying. read more

I'm a thrift store fan so I was happy when B Thrifty opened in Annandale. Its clean, organized, and my favorite part is that it is spacious! I lost my wallet last week. When I racked my brain trying to figure out where I left, I called B Thrifty and spoke to Tatianna she told me that THEY HAD IT! Come on people, you know that feeling of relief! I drove straight to the store and I swear, the 3 ladies at the counter were just as pleased as I was. .............BFF "BEST FIND FOREVER". Thankyou ladies, I appreciate your honesty, smiles and your pride. See you soon. Evy W read more

Worst customer service! And at least at Goodwill and Salvation Army the managers will work with you if a product is not priced. Instead of just giving you a snotty attitude and telling you oh well not my problem . Over a belt that they easily could have just found one in fact I went and found one just like it but still they wouldn't price it. read more

I would advise you not to patronize this establishment due to the following. Over 95% of their merchandise is clothing apparel. With that being said they do not have any dressing rooms and claimed it was due to COVID-19. We are living pass the days of the pandemic and customers should have the opportunity to try on clothing before purchasing. People are literally forced to try clothes on out in the open aisles! If I would have known this, I would have gone to another store allowing myself time to find something before my same day flight. It took a while to find an English-speaking associate to address my concerns. When I did get the manager, she was rude and unsympathetic! Don't go to this store if you like playing the guessing game and being disrespected! read more

This place is awesome and big and so many deals!! Many days of the week have special discounts, so you're unlikely to even pay the price on the label if you play it right. $3 dress!! read more

I've gone thrifting here for the past 2 months, at least once a week and don't have any complaints. The store is clean and organized, the staff is nice and helpful, they have discounts on certain colored tags everyday; Plus I've never left this store without a good vintage or unique find. They let you return stuff within a week, with tags still attached for store credit as well. Which is great since you can't try things on. I recommend this over the Goodwill up the street. read more

Was anxious to visit this thrift store after hearing a glowing review of it from a female acquaintance. I was open and enthusiastic when I entered the store. I looked at the art first; it was grossly over priced and a number of the art pieces were clearly damaged goods. Next I checked out the "so called collectibles"; they too were grossly over priced and not all that special. I also checked out the clothing. I picked up several pairs of nice slacks; one pair was ripped in the back and the other pair was dirty. I shopped for blue jeans and was surprised by their inventory. Many of the jeans were badly worn and used. The prices were high for this quality of merchandise. Ties were pricey comparing them to a goodwill or salvation army store, that has a larger and nicer selection of merchandise for far less money. Since my first visit to the store I returned to see if the inventory had changed. Was not surprised to see many of the same over priced art pieces. I also looked at the other inventory in the store. Could literally find nothing worth buying there. On a positive note, during the covid pandemic, there were few customers in the store on both of my visits. The store is very clean and the merchandise, paltry selection that they have, is readily accessible. This store is really going to have to step it up if it intends to make a mark on the thrift shop scene in NoVa. I can not recommend this place to thrifters. read more

Awesome thrift shop, clean, organized, very friendly staff and you can find vintage clothes

This is my favorite thrift store hands down! No matter what I need, they always seem to have it. Anytime I know I have a specific outfit in mind for an event or occasion, I can come here and I'm likely to find what I'm envisioning. Their book selection is wonderful too. I love finding everything I need under one roof! read more

Wish it wasn't so dirty and overpriced. They don't organize their clothes well and they are so smushed together you can't look through them

Avid thrifter here--have to agree with the other negative reviews regarding the overpriced, low quality items.

One of my favorite places to thrift, but I pulled up on a Sunday at 6:30, and they locked the door on me. Stating that they close at 6:30. Told the girl Google says they close at 7. To which she responded, "Well. That has nothing to do with us..." I'm sorry what? Lol. Super poor experience. read more

Really had high hopes for Thai thrift store as it's right next to my house. Specifically asked about the return policy and was told that I could exchange or get store credit within 7 days if tags are attached. Came to return a couple of items and was told that I couldn't return a hat because it's an accessory. That's not what I was told, the only written return policy they said was posted st the door not anywhere near the registers. even though they claim it's in the receipt it doesn't say anything about accessories on the receipt and I wouldn't have gotten the receipt until after I made a purchase. It's honestly just the principle that I asked someone specifically and when I checked out they didn't say anything as well. I would have been fine with them telling me there's no returns allowed as then I would have made different selections. Manager was not helpful at all and her only response was she trained the cashier so she knew he knows better. What!?!? read more

This is THE WORST thrift store I have ever been to. The prices are the highest I've ever seen in a thrift store. And the merchandise is full of low-end brands. The shoes were in the worst condition I have even seen of shoes in a thrift store. To top it all off, the greeting I got upon ENTERING the store was, "And you gonna pay for that?" This was referring to the brown bag of lunch leftovers (from The Block (the best Asian food court in the area) that I brought INTO the store. read more

Never going back there. I thrift about once a week and this was the third time my daughter and i came here. We brought back a pair of Jean shorts with tags still attached and had a receipt in hand. The lady at the desk turned to another woman beside her and said (in Spanish, but i speak Spanish and understood)"it's over a week, should i do a return?". The woman said, "yes, sure" (also in Spanish). Shockingly, she just have known i could understand what she was saying; The original lady then turns to me and says "no, it's over 7 days ". I was so upset, i have a tagged pair of shorts i don't need that i paid $7 for and they won't return. I handed her the shorts, told her it's a donation to the store and walked out with my daughter. It's sad when your place of business is run by a petty front desk staff. I believe she did it like that i did not have a mask and decided to be strict with the rules. read more
