We moved into a home that had in-ceiling speakers already, purchased two new TV's, a full system of Sonos amps and a port, a subwoofer, AV receiver, power conditioner, etc. from Best Buy, and so our disaster began. One thing after another didn't work. Essentially, they didn't really understand how to wire a complex, pre-existing setup, and it was a frustrating mess. Best Buy made 5 or 6 visits to the house. On their first, they delivered a damaged $8K TV. The replacement TV they installed later went out for handling damage, as verified by Samsung, and they just washed their hands of us. They just hung us with a non-functioning TV outside of their replacement period, and Samsung noted that it was handling damage. We are STILL fighting with the credit card company on that one. That's where TV Installation Houston stepped in and saved the day. I wish we had known about them from the beginning! We nearly didn't find them--again, due to the generic name--but I'm so glad that we did. From our first interaction, J inspired confidence that our issues would be sorted out. He said that they primarily rely on Google reviews as he's not as familiar with Yelp, but they need to be on here! I couldn't find them here, or we would've used them from the get-go. They're hard to find on Google even, due to their name. We sold us a new TV at competitive prices, handled the install and got our system working again. They made sure all of our questions were answered and that everything was functioning as it should be. There were a few buried settings that we needed him to come out and change later, and he was very responsive and addressed our concerns. It was paid immediately, as every invoice came in. Nearing the final installation, there were many thing that were not working. Rick encouraged us to pay anyway, and he would "make it right". Shortly after, major parts started falling. To be precise, 3 DoorBirds, at 5K each. A gate problem that was opening and closing up to 100x per day. He claimed it was not the DoorBird but my power. I spent thousands on checking power and wiring. But the odd part was: it usually started when we had heavy rain. Soon after this he stopped returning my calls. I would wait; a week, then a month as he forgot he scheduled us in. Then 2 months then three. We put up with this for close to 2 years. When confronted he just stopped responding... Close to 100k spent, burned on 20k cost between this and a working LTS PTZ camera that he wanted to replace with a full color at night. They took my camera, and left. The full color PTZ does not work. I am out over 20k in billing from Electronic Dreams, Rick who has not responded to my texts, emails and requests through his brother and son. I have hired a new company to verify all systems. They have confirmed, the systems were short circuited as they were not properly sealed. I am not only out the 20k, but another 15k to repair and replace. If you want a company to install and walk away... Hire Electronic Dreams. Anyways, I then rescheduled for the following week at 9am and they then told me I needed to choose another day once again. If the online appointment slots aren't accurate don't offer online scheduling, and if driving to Houston is too difficult don't service that area.
