    Went there yesterday to drop off my furs for summer storage. It's pretty hard to find but well…read moreworth the drive (beautiful rural country roads). Checked out some new stock and tried a few on. Fell in love with one, going back to get it. They have a large selection of new and used furs and also just about any style you're looking for; jackets, three-quarter, full length, capes, vests, hats, etc. I looked at the new coats but prefer the pre-owned ones. Although more expensive than a cloth coat, it's really not that much more considering, with proper care, will give you many years of warmth and enjoyment. I purchased 2 of my furs from The Mink Barn and love them. They were both pre-owned and affordable. My coats are so warm and beautiful I am actually looking forward to winter. If you're in the market for a fur coat, or just want to browse and try some on, check out The Mink Barn in Union, Illinois, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The 4-acre Mink Barn is located in Union, Illinois — 55 miles northwest of Chicago, far from any main roads or other businesses. Unlike many furriers, he is involved in all aspects of his trade: designing, restyling, making coats, and the raising and export of mink. The fur trade comes naturally to Talidis, a native of Kastoria, Greece. "My entire family is involved in the fur trade," he said. "From a very young age, I have been involved in furs. Kastoria is the place where more than 60 percent of all fur coats sold in Europe are made, and about 90 percent of the community is involved in the fur trade in one way or another."
