Then you guys screwed up the wire transfer on Monday even though I emailed you the EXACT instructions and Judith was on the phone with the Fidelity representative and heard the exact instructions but did it incorrectly. And I didn't even receive the common courtesy of a call first thing on Tuesday morning telling me that the wire rejected. I'm calling and calling her to finally hear that the wire was rejected because she put the wrong instructions!

As a prospective renter, my experience was very poor. The man who showed me the apartment I was…read moreinterested in was very nice, but didn't know much about the property or me (he was waiting in a different unit than the one I wanted to see because he got mixed up). That would have been fine. But what really annoyed me was the application process. The management is not familiar with more modern ways to verify employment and income (such as third party service) and insisted on unredacted pay stubs - which is much less secure. The interaction as we went back and forth was rude and reminded me of scammers trying to get one to divulge information urgently (because so many people are interested in the apartment!) at the cost of better judgement. In trying to get more information from me they cited their "policies" but being unable to articulate why their policy insists on having the information I didn't want to share (like my pre-tax deductions) This conversation was not with some mid-level employee but what seemed to be the owner. I should hope he could articulate the reasoning behind his own policy! To me, this company clearly orients themselves to customer service of property owners, not renters.
