Been looking for OEM Nissan Juke seats for like a week and a half after I sold my bucket seats. Everywhere wants like $100-$150 per seat despite them all being moldy, glass covered, and torn up. B&R had a very organized lot, kind and helpful staff, and van driving around the lot with tools. The Man at the register was open to negotiating prices, an employee out in the lot offered me a dolly to move the seats and he even power washed the gunk off for me, and another employee removed a stripped bolt for me. All super cool dudes! Only took about an hour and a half or so to get exactly what I needed in good condition and it only cost me $120! Thanks yall! read more

Buyer beware!!!! Buy & Return is 100% their moto. Purchased an engine from them that had burned through 3 qts of oil in less than 200 miles. Got another engine sent to have been sent another bad engine engine with low compression. Asked for the testing on the engine and was given bogus photos. Very unimpressed with B&R from their sales people, management staff and employees. They do NOT stand behind any purchases through this company. Installed two engines professionally to only have two bad engines. No compensation, just a unhappy customer and a whole lot less money on a job that should have gone smoothly the first time. A lot of independent shops uses this company for budget friendly options. No longer will we use this company as an option. If you are thinking of using them don't, pay a little more for something that the company will stand behind. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS BUSINESS. On 09/26/22 I purchased a used transmission for my mother's 2014 Subaru Crosstrek from Joshua Hale at B&R. The installation was conducted by Auto Service by Allen, in Incline Village Nevada. That transmission failed and when I called to start the return process they promised they had one that would work for sure, and even said they'd cover installation if the second one failed. Installation was only a verbal agreement over the phone as I didn't think to get the agreement in writing. However, once the second transmission arrived it was rejected upon delivery. This one looked in very poor condition; sensors cut without abandon, broken seals, and very dirty fluid with a high concentration of metal flakes. So I had to wait for a third transmission. The third transmission passed the shop's visual inspection and was installed by Bobby Wilde at Auto Service by Allen. This transmission also failed and by now my mom had been without a car for three months. My mother contacted family and found another shop that could source a transmission and preform the work. I contacted Joshua Hale via email of the matter and gave the address of the new shop where he could pick up their transmission once the work was completed. The new shop took months sourcing a new transmission due to supply chain issues as well as the notorious problems with finding a "good" used transmission for this particular model of vehicle. Updates were emailed to Joshua during the process of finding a new transmission. Once a transmission was found and installed, I contacted Joshua and informed him that their transmission was ready for pickup. He acted as if I never informed him of the failure of the second transmission despite my emails. I sent my invoice of installation. Joshua immediately passed blame on the shop as if they didn't install the transmission properly. Auto Service by Allen is rated 5 stars on YELP, B&R is rated 2.5 and I wish I would've done more research before making this purchase. Don't. read more

I always used to laugh at their unofficial moniker, but now it seems well deserved. "Buy and Return". There are always items that folks get wrong, that's just part of doing business, but it's how you take care of those issues is what separates the ethical companies from....well, B&R. We purchased a transmission giving all of the very important information, of which this application is remarkably specific...meaning it's forgivable I was shipped the wrong one...the first time, however NOT the second. Now for the "Buy and Return" way of taking care of the problem. When I called back about the error, the salesperson sent me to the original salesperson's extension...to get voicemail. I called back because I couldn't wait even longer to get the correct replacement. This time spoke to yet another salesperson that clearly didn't want to help me out, it would seem to be a fear of his that he taking over for another's original sale? Well, he found the presumably correct transmission in California, I stated that I couldn't wait that long as this car is what they call a "cradle shift", meaning that once you pull this unit out, you can't move this off our lift as there's no way to install the suspension/tires to move it and use the lift for another car. I asked the sales person to come and pick up the transmission...he again wanted me to get hold of the original salesperson, at this point I was getting irritated as it was quite clear that they were not at all interested in servicing their customers well. Now, for the transmission return. I was curious on why their pickup was taking so long, as they have trucks in our every single day, to have them finally show up, not only to pick up the original transmission but to offer me the replacement that I told them not to send! My tech was helping lift our transmission onto their liftgate, he looked at the replacement unit...it was wrong again! I might have taken it besides the lousy service just to my customer back on the road, as they're more important than my irritation, but nope, the wrong one again!...and all the while 1 out of my 5 lifts has a car stuck on it. Now getting my money back. Again forwarding me to the original salesperson, of which he's not there again, so once again calling back and had Bob explain that Patty writes return checks on Wednesday's and he'd have Frank (original salesperson) call me the next day with an update...He didn't, so I called and of course was forwarded to Frank, of which he emailed Patty while I was on the phone...this was followed by "she writes checks on Fridays". He actually called me back with that same new saying that she was indeed writing the check this Friday! So front to back, this has been a nightmare! July 25th to now August 16th...and I still have this car on my lift, and don't have my money. read more

Very appreciative of the experience I had at the Corvallis, OR location of B & R Auto wrecking, and especially Hunter Black. I located a sun visor for my Ford Expedition, made the 1 1/2 hour drive, and was very impressed with the service received. Classic bait and switch operation. I found the door panel I needed on the website and ordered it. Got a call stating several poor excuses as to why the part is not available. When you are given more then one excuse you are not getting the truth. They cancelled my order. Then the same part is available again except the driver's side control panel has been removed. The first part was $45.12 with the control panel. The revised part is $50.55 without the control panel. These guys are a rip off top to bottom. I would rather go without the part than trust these guys another minute. Use at your own risk. Response to their reply, Your website indicated you had the part in stock and allowed me to order it, all the while seeing every indication the part was in stock and the order would be fulfilled. Now you say you had to find a replacement part to substitutue. WHY DID YOUR WEBSITE INDICATE THE PART WAS IN STOCK AND ALLOW ME TO PLACE THE ORDER??? Do not trust on used parts or making orders. Terrible on parts, customer service, and lies. I called from San Diego and ordered a key switch for my 2009 Kia Borrego on Monday which I told the guy Jeremy Lauden, specifically what I needed and that it was a key start ignition. He told me they had the part I needed and charge me over night, which I didn't get it until 2 days later and never was fully refunded for the overnight but only $20 instead of the full $60. When I received the part it was the wrong part. It was a push button start when I specifically asked for the key switch starter and the guy lied to me for the sale. I've been calling Jeremy back all week and he hasn't answered or returned my calls to even apologize for his mistake. The company called me this morning and put me through to him but he still didn't answer. As a veteran I am surely hurt to think I would get treated fair only to realize that this company only wanted my money instead of truly helping me out. Now, I have missed time with my sons, my VA appointments and still looking for someone to install this part. My car has been down all week and after day two of having the WRONG part, I'm still looking for someone to install it because I don't have the money now to buy the correct one since this company took the last of it, only to send me the wrong part and not care. Well my first experience with B & R was good Engine was pretty complete and ran out just fine. Well my Second experience wasn't so good , 2007 Mini Cooper Engine not the easiest engine to R & R after getting it in there and the First Start LOTs of Timing Chain noise more than there should have been , after 25 mins of 2 to 3 engine restarts filling the cooling system (a pain on a Mini) the engine started to knock and knock bad, so shut it down checked the oil right where is should be restarted yep ROD Bearing #1, made a short Video and shut it down. Call B&R talked to the Salesman that sold it to me and also sent him the Video , and he "wow that sounds bad". Now he has to send that Video to his Warranty team, Do I hear anything NO I have to call more than once Finally we connect well we have to get you another engine , well DUH now the fun starts again. So out come there JUNK engine back in the Crate. So now I'm wondering what and Why, took the oil filter that came on there engine and cut it open found big pieces of Bearing material in that filter, so now I cut the one I installed with about 25 mins of run time yep Bearing material, Now my salesman just doesn't understand how could this happen we TEST all of OUR engines well if you tested it you would have heard it. But now hear we go NO LABOR WARRANTY Yep NO LABOR WARRANTY and how about the lose of Coolant,Oil , Oil Fitler, Now I'm a shop owner and this Labor has to come out of my pocket !! So emails back and forth and phone calls . NOPE NO LABOR WARRANTY , But he (salesman say's you should have bought a P&L WARRANTY well how about asking ???? SO BEWARE OF THESE GUY's read more

I received the worst customer experience I ever have had in my life. I was sold a spoiler that is held on by 4 screws and supposedly located in Albany and then was told a day later they couldn't figure out how to get it off, I informed them how too and was told he has no control over the techs. So I said I would come down and take it off myself, 2 hour drive for me. On my way down I called ahead and was informed the car was not there its in Eugene, called Eugene and was told it was in Graham, WA. So I asked the guy who sold me it and he told me I was wrong and he never said it was in Albany. So I asked for a supervisor and after all this he had the nerve to talk back to me, down to me, and told they don't sell that part separate from the deck lid, which they had sold me over the phone a few days before. So now I have wasted half my day off, $30 in gas, and I didn't even get the part. Words cannot express my distaste for this company. Avoid this company like the plague, I am!!! read more
