I called and they verifies that it had been 8 month since my HVAC service 14 month since my generator. My winter HVAC service was skipped and my annual 2025 generator service was skipped......however I had paid for them. The customer service person did not seem to care in the least and actually told me I should have called them to schedule the service. I asked to speak with her manager (Mason) and he never called me back. Worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time!

TIP: Check costs before you invite anyone out to work on your system(s). I found Primus's $85 trip charge to be somewhat reasonable. But the cost of Freon? Not so much. A quick check on eBay indicates these folks pay not more than $25 per pound of R22 for their Freon and then charge you the stated price of $100. When asked why, the smug response was .. "Well, that's capitalism." My response .. "Well, when you charge 4 times what something costs, that leaves the consumer feeling ripped off. So here's something else about capitalism you should know. People won't use you when they feel ripped off." My thoughts: There's just something not right about being told I should be happy about being ripped off simply because "That's capitalism". That would be why I concluded the call. I suppose the vendor subsequently decided our discussion wasn't over, so he immediately called back to lecture me, rather aggressively. I hung up. A few seconds later, he called again. I didn't answer. So in the end, the decision to not use Primus is more than justified by their absurdly expensive (in my opinion) Freon and their aggressive response to (pre)customer feedback.

After he left, the system was not working quite right that afternoon, the customer service dispatcher called him, he came back late on Friday afternoon, spent a couple of hours going over the system and corrected the issue...and it has been working great ever since! Cody was very informative as to what the problem was and gave us a heads up on another possible problem for the future (it is an older system)...very helpful! I highly recommend Complete Heat and Air and kudos to Cody for his excellent service!

They usually come out poke around find something that will cost hundred to fix then disappear for hours or even days to get parts. Actual work never seems to take more than a few minutes. Not the guys at A C Experts though. Bruce & Josh arrived on time, found the problem quickly, had the parts on the truck, didn't kill my bank account. I will never use another hvac company. These guys are the real deal.

Luckily they found the problem and our system was up and running an hour after they arrived. I was extremely impressed by them. He called ahead just as he said. Assessed one of our AC units not working, and advised on a reasonable repair and how to monitor. They fixed another small problem in the duct work. Reasonably priced and came on a holiday weekend. He had a younger worker with him that he treated with respect and was teaching him along the way. Both were very respectful. TERRIBLE experience with this company. The York unit we bought and had installed had a bad coil…read moreafter 6 months. They sent one crew out to fix it and two days later it didn't work again. They sent another crew out who bad-mouthed the first crew. We were out of AC for 8 days in 90 degree heat. Poor communication, poor followup and they are under new management. Phil Esposito's no longer owns the company. They may be cheaper but sometimes you get what you pay for

As of today, we were forced to install an entirely new HVAC unit to replace the one we purchased…read moreonly 15 months ago from Energy Sharks. The original unit we were sold is no longer manufactured with replacement parts available. After waiting extensively for a resolution, we ultimately had no choice but to move forward with purchasing a new unit - this time the correct size. During this process, we also learned that the explanations previously given to us, by Energy Sharks ,that the problems were due to using the wrong filters, that the system was filthy, and that nothing could be done - were false. The new installer worked directly with York to help us secure another unit, but we still incurred an additional cost of $6,200 for installation. In total, within just 16 months, we have spent over $15,000 to have a functional HVAC system - double what the actual cost should have been. My concern remains that others may be misled or treated as poorly as we have been, and I do not want additional consumers to experience the same level of frustration and financial burden. I would encourage everyone to just look through the recent reviews to see how bad this company has become. New ownership came with horrible people.
