I highly recommend B & K Auto Experts! Every time one of our cars needs to be repaired, we bring it to B & K Auto Experts and we are always extremely thankful for the repairs and honesty we receive. Yesterday, I brought my daughter's car in because we noticed her car was leaking oil and she was going to drive 4 hours the next day by herself to get back to college. We were able to get an appointment that day and they quickly checked out her car and determined that when she had her oil changed in Indiana, the company had not secured the oil cap properly. They secured the cap and verified that that was the only place oil was leaking and checked her oil levels. I took my trusty Honda Civic with 230k miles on it to the Firestone down the street, the check engine light was on and it was mis-firing badly. They diagnosed it at for a charge of $200 and told me that it had bad compression and that it more than likely needed a head gasket, they quoted me a cool $2000, plus another $1200 for suspension needs. I went out and bought a new car, and let the old Civic sit for a while. Finally took it to another mechanic, recommended by a friend. They diagnosed the car needing spark plugs, everything else was good including the suspension. They could taken me for a lot more since I believed the Firestone people. Bun has been servicing both my vehicles (2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee & 2003 Jaguar XKR) for quite a while now, from simple oil changes to tracking down frustrating intermittent issues. He will let you know what the problem is, how it can be caused and what will be done to fix it. I have never felt that he was anything but upfront and honest as well. There are true mechanics-going after the source of the problem, and amateurs who follow the guides how to replace entire components without attempting to repair real source of the problem.
