So the following few days I called back to bring in my car for service. Craig reassured me that the brakes were not issue but other issues would be the issue and make the car unsafe to drive. They were kind enough to lend me a loaner car for the weekend, and to my surprise, I got a call Friday evening that my car was ready for a pick up! The whole team was super friendly, it's a family owned business and it shows. They have me a clear itemized breakdown of everything that needed work, no pressure or upselling and were very accommodating throughout the process. Overall it was a smooth experience, and I look forward to coming back when needed!

Also if you come during the day they give you a coupon for a free car wash. How good is that. To the guy who waited for a half hour waiting to get his tires inspected. I'm going to be nice and just say I don't have that much time to waste. I would just go to a tire place. This is Jiffy Lube it's good for what it is.

I have been a customer of this location for many years. I asked for the brakes to be checked and ultimately paid for the replacement of the front and rear disc brake pads, as well as front and rear caliper slide service. On August 3, 2026, I noticed an issue with the car's brakes. As I was not near the Midas location I had a different mechanic look at the brakes. The mechanic showed me the rear brake pads. These pads were worn down to literally nothing. With only 12,000 miles of use on the pads it was as if the pads were not replaced back in November of 2025. The front pads showed normal wear for 12,000 miles. I brought this matter to the manager (Tom Weber's) attention on August 5, 2026. I requested a refund for the original amount paid for the rear pads. Rather than addressing the substance of my concern, I was questioned about whether I had somehow switched the brake pads from another vehicle. I found this response inappropriate, particularly given that I had been a longstanding customer of the shop. The matter was brought to the owner's attention. I provided photos of the four rear brake pads which were questioned by the owner as being illegitimate. The owner did finally agree to refund the cost of the pads only, and not the cost of the caliper slide service. However, he followed up shortly thereafter with a text refusing the refund and stating that that I was scamming him. I want to be clear that I did not attempt to scam or mislead anyone. I raised a legitimate concern regarding a service for which I paid and which based on the condition of the vehicle when the rear pads were inspected in August appears to not have been performed. I am requesting that Midas review the original November 29, 2025 work order, the parts and labor charged, and the circumstances surrounding the rear brake pad replacement. I am also requesting reimbursement for the rear brake pad service.

We had a college kid home and he had some problems with the 17 year old car he had at school. We knew it was battery, starter or ignition, but weren't sure what and had called early Saturday morning hoping to get this location to check it out. They told us to leave it and they would try to get us in. They called us around 4 and told us the diagnostics showed it was only the battery and they could replace it and we would be good to go. While I was waiting for them to finish up, someone came in with Popeye's for an employee. I talked about how good the spicy chicken was and they offered me a piece! I had heard the conversation about how it was dinner for the employee's family and politely declined, but that was so nice! I dropped off at 10 am the next morning. I explained to Anthony that my 2005 300c was idling somewhat rough and was starting to hear a "whistling" sound with acceleration. Plus, the battery light and few other issues. Well, not good news. After an inspection and code analysis Anthony explained it completely and on a level I understood. Consequently a new alternator, serpentine belt, Napa 75 month battery and an EGR valve was needed. The work was completed by 4 PM and while it always hurts to pay out money for your car, it's a necessary evil. The discounts that Anthony applied were greatly appreciated. I can only imagine what Chrysler would have charged me. I have not posted a review lately but felt compelled to review here. I trust this auto repair as they are fair and professional. I'd like to know that the establishments, especially the "mom and pop" places I invest my time and hard and money into, are quality. Well this place needs major quality control. Especially in its customer service and sales. #mortified I no longer live in the area but gladly can tell you that you are better off going to GoodYear Suburban Auto (off Lake Street a few blocks away). Or Route 64 Auto in Villa Park. Hell Even a jiffy lube isn't too far from this terrible shop. Unbelievable. I've never had a shop employee text me to bring work into their shop, more than once, that should of been my first red flag. Why are they so desperate for work? I had work done March 2019, about 1 year ago, in that year I have had the same initial repair corrected due once by them (under warranty) due to low quality parts used. Not to mention after I had them take care of the repairs, I had a different shop quote me significantly less. You can presume how frustrating it was to find out "Anthonys great prices and discounts", were a farce. That's what you get for not doing your research first... Now this is the 3'rd time the same problem is acting up. I called March 12, pre warranty expiration and bringing the car back to *this* shop, is not an option for many reasons. The "customer service" aka Anthony could value from investing into 'communications' classes. Me Being under pressure with needing my car fixed soon it's stressful, customer service position, we deal with clients on a spectrum of emotions. I get that... I've been on both ends. As customer sales/service, you've got to have tact and be composed. I couldn't believe I had to mediate the call and remind him, I'm the customer and he is customer service ...that he should be finding a way to keep business... not argue with the customer. Also, he should not be in a mechanic shop. At all. Not even a car sales man. This job just doesn't fit him at all. I had once called post the initial repair asking which wheel bearing had been fixed, to which he told me it was "non-specific". Another red flag. Go anywhere else. I'm fed up with the low quality part with over priced costs, expensive, on top of the excruciatingly bad customer service.
