I found this shop through Yelp a couple years ago in 2019 while searching for an honest and reliable mechanic. I have been through my fair share of mechanics throughout the years, and usually end up having to search for another mechanic after a bad experience ruins the trust I once had for them. Various reasons including faulty work, lack of customer service, and knowing enough to know when someone is trying to hustle me. (Ignorance is bliss) That all being said I read the good reviews of this shop and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when I met Greg and his staff who were all courteous, helpful, and professional. In my opinion this is an honest, reliable, and fairly priced auto mechanic shop. I have a good working knowledge of vehicles as a lifelong car enthusiast, and can tell that Greg not only is very knowledgeable of his profession, but also does not try and "up sell" you or perform unnecessary work just to make an extra buck. My SUV broke down in the area on my way to work and I was in a crunch to get it fixed. I had never been to this shop before but I figured I would give them a call based on good reviews. I wasn't sure if I would have to leave my car overnight. B&G started working on my car as soon as I had it towed to the shop, quickly identified that it was a broken fuel pump, and replaced it the same afternoon. Met Tak and Greg for the first time. Very honest mechanics and 19+ years in the same location. They seem to have enough business without advertising; just word of mouth. They were highly recommended by my 6(!) six co-workers down the street at the University, so I thought I give them a try. Very reasonable price for a Synthetic Blend Oil Change and Tire Rotation and they were able to do it very quickly. I will definitely be back again soon! I have a Prius for about 4 years now and they still know what they're doing with the modern hybrid cars. I get my oil changes there as well as brakes and other services. Still a great price and still has the great service. Like my last review they are honest and down to earth mechanics who will always fix the problem or refer the right people/shop to fix it. They won't even try to offer any unnecessary parts or services so you don't have to worry about spending more than what they quoted. Everyone I have referred to them have told me how appreciative they are to have met them and used them. It's amazing how their prices haven't even gone up when everything has gone up in price like donuts. How are donuts now close to a dollar nowadays each! Same taste and size but prices are way up!
