I truly couldn't feel more relieved after the incredible help from Alexander and his colleague Saul. I submitted a request through his website to help unload my U-Haul, and he responded within a few hours with a clear overview of his team's availability for my preferred date (I gave 12 days' notice) and a very reasonable quote. His communication was consistent, and he provided a confirmation email and phone call the day before the job. On moving day, his team arrived on time and quickly assessed the route to my third-floor apartment, which involved a narrow and winding staircase. Alexander gave me a heads-up that my couch and large chest might not fit, but he and Saul immediately began delegating and managed to find several creative solutions. They worked skillfully and fast, and made sure I was comfortable with them taking apart and reassembling my bed frame, couch, and the metal railing on the staircase. Everything made it upstairs! If you value your items, time and money, do not use this moving company. I mean this whole heartedly. I feel so awful leaving bad reviews but this move was a nightmare. To leave it short, the guy who took my call and makes the appointment for you showed up with 2 very young guys who hardly looked like they could lift a 20lb dumbbell let alone heavy furniture. He then left the 2 young guys about 2 hours in. On top of this, to make things worse, my dresser leg was broken off. The kicker is, the guy who owns or manages this place (don't remember his name) before I even saw said "this leg was already broken!" which whilst isn't impossible I suppose it's not likely. I ordered the set from Ashley furniture less than a year ago and had Ashley's service team delivery and install the furniture, it's never been moved since. They actually broke a leg on a night stand and took it back and had another shipped to me so I doubt they would have just ignored another broken leg since it wasn't going to affect them either way. At that time, the furniture set was under warranty. Unfortunately, wasn't cheap furniture so I was pretty disappointed about this. Still am to be honest. The move also took 5 plus hours so I ended up paying over $600 (which got charged to different cards). All in all, this was a very exhausting, annoying move and I do not recommend. read more

I decided to go with B&C movers after reviewing several other movers in the area. Not only did they offer the best rate but Alex was very responsive. I provided him with the date and time and he confirmed immediately. We communicated strictly through the yelp app. Alex and his colleague arrived a little after 2 .They came in immediately and surveyed the area. Propped the doors open and got right to work. They moved several boxes, chairs, sofa, bed, tv's, etc. I originally thought I would need 2 hrs but I ended up needing an extra hour. It wasn't a problem for them. They continued working non-stop. I know it is hard to find great help, but Alex and his team stood out in a number of ways. 1. They could follow directions. I asked them to arrive at the back of my building instead of the front and they did! That is often difficult for people. 2. They worked quickly! I was hesitant about paying by the hour but Alex's estimate of my move time was spot on and he and his team worked quickly to load and unload my belongs. 3. They were problem solvers. I underestimated the amount of items that I had in storage and Alex and his team made sure to prioritize loading items that I couldn't move myself into the truck. I was left with one carload of items that I could easily move. I am most grateful. And finally 4. They were knowledgeable about and followed rules that I want aware of I closing limitations on where they could drive and park their truck. Best moving experience! I actually booked the day before my same apartment transfer and was given an affordable rate. The policies and payment was very transparent. The movers arrived early and moved all the furniture from my one bedroom apartment to my new place in less than two hours. I must mention that the movers had to take apart and reassemble my bed, which they did within a 90 minute time frame. They also set up my furniture to my liking. Very professional and personable! B&C pro moving were excellent. They went above and beyond.I have used other movers in the past and they were just awful. Alex and Sergei came on time, and they were efficient. They started at 10am and finished at 4pm. It was this long because my apartment had issues with the loading dock and it does take time to dissasswmb and reassemble.They never complained,they just kept working.They did not take a single break until they were done. Will definitely use them again. Update!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I used Alexander,and his crew again for an out of state move and they were wonderful.This move ended at about 11pm in another state. Once again he never complained or show signs of irritation. Great team and great service! Team of 3 arrived to my 4 BR townhouse on time. They carefully wrapped all my furniture to protect it during the move and moved everything fast and safe. And not less important for my wife they took care to keep everything clean (they were aware of our freshly painted walls and newly installed carpets). Very reasonable prices. I'm complete happy that I chose B&C Pro Moving. I reached out to them for a quote and they gave me a quote without harassing me multiple times to see if I needed their service. Once I confirmed, they followed up the evening before the move to confirm I still needed their services. On the day of the move they started the clock at the nearest 15 minute interval after they arrived which meant they gave me a few extra minutes before the clock actually started and it was easy to finalize the bill after their work was completed. Before they started moving my belongs, they surveyed the home for what needed to be moved. Confirm the items, then took care by wrapping the furniture. Also they were able to maneuver around the items that we had yet to dump, thrift and donate. When they got to the new location, they were careful. They surveyed and asked what items went in each room. Then they reassembled everything. Also, they moved glass display cases from the old home to the new home with no problem. No breaks... nothing. Also, they cleaned up after themselves. They gave me a realistic estimate that allowed me to has cash available. They also let me know when they were close to 30 min from being finished so that I could survey stuff and see if I needed anything moved. Once they were done, they asked again. One of the things I was extremely impressed by was their interest in our plans for the other items we are getting delivered. Alexander noted a few things that I should take into consideration regarding the furniture I purchase. He gave me a heads up that what I selected my not work due to the spacing in my home. This has allowed me to consider other pieces if what I selected is too big. I'm already trying to book B&C Pro Moving for a pending. Once I confirm if there is a need for movers... Had to move furniture from my house to the front of my Large Garage, as I decided to rent it out. I was at a remote location, so it was bit stressful for me not being there. Booking with them was so easy, Alexander was very helpful. I have researched from at least 4 different moving company and they had the cheapest price!! Perrio and Jose are the two guys who helped us move. They were very professional. They used a 17' sized truck for our one bedroom apartment move from Maryland to Virginia. They had furniture dolly, utility dolly, furniture blankets and tape to make sure your furniture is transported safely. They worked quickly and swiftly, and helped us finish our move in less 4 hours ! I would recommend paying in cash because you will be charged 5% extra if you pay with credit card. Used this service to move myself and my girlfriend from two apartments (one on U St., the other in Rosslyn), into a new place in Mt. Vernon Triangle. We could not have had a better experience. Some factors that we considered: Cost: As simple and straightforward as it gets. The rate quoted is the rate that is ultimately charged. The only additional cost is the time it takes for the movers to depart their garage and arrive at the apartment. There is no charge for the truck's "return" time after the job. There are no additional charges. Getting a fixed rate with no added charges is a huge relief considering all of the other associated costs of moving, and these guys do not nickel and dime with their time (see below). As the others reviews indicate, the rate is really competitive, and very worth what you are paying for. Service: Not trying to sound like an ad, but the only thing "cheap" about the service was the price. Alex and another mover showed up exactly on time during a weekday morning rush hour and handled a large amount of furniture and fragile items with great care. We moved two apartments into one over the course of six hours (that's three separate parking garages, service elevators, etc. to deal with), with no issues or damage to furniture. They took one water break during the job, but otherwise were non-stop. You are not making a sacrifice on the service front by hiring this company. I have seen much worse service from far more expensive (and better known) moving companies. Misc: Communication was excellent, and their flexibility on timing far surpasses most other companies. Alex was able to provide detailed responses to questions about the move right up to the night before (a Sunday evening, which seemed even more impressive). The were transparent about pricing and what type of truck we would need. They bring their own packing and moving equipment at no cost to you. Excellent moving company! Alex did a wonderful job packing up--and then later unpacking--a room in our house when we needed to do some ceiling restoration. He was very flexible with scheduling and made himself available on short notice. He was fast, very efficient, and was also thoughtful: for example, before hanging a mirror back up, he warned us that old nails in the drywall that had been holding the mirror were coming loose, and offered to fix them for us. These guys are GREAT! OUTSTANDING SERVICE! We used B&C Pro Moving once before to move a few pieces of furniture when my mother-in-law passed away. We were so pleased with their service that we hired them to move my daughter from her apartment in Arlington, VA to her new apartment in Bethesda, MD. They were easy to reach and flexible to schedule. We received a text confirmation after we scheduled, another text from them the day before the move to confirm, and then another text when they were on their way to Arlington. They were on time, efficient, personable, VERY hardworking, and professional! They took great care with the furniture and packed it up well. I have so much appreciation for their communication efforts - they consistently texted to let us know their progress. When you are stressed with a move, it is so helpful to know that your movers have your back!!! I appreciated that Alex explained the route that he had to take from Arlington to Bethesda because of the truck. It made perfect sense, and helped us understand that we would be able to get to the new place much more quickly than they could. I had a move from my 1 BR aprtment garden condo to a 3 BR house. The pros: The guys provided pretty good service. Nothing was damaged to my knowledge. And I appreciated that they called ahead of time to let me know they would be 40 minutes late. Cons: I felt they were a bit slow and this is a concern when you pay per hour. They took about an hour to get to my house and it took me 30 minutes. Also, they did not disclose the additional costs for tape before they started liberally using it without asking me first. So there was an extra $38 at the end. In the future, I will either consider a flat rate company or get a group of friends and rent a truck myself. read more
