under qualified workers that tracked mud through my house and did not respond to obvious signs that a unit was going bad. followed by more under qualified technicians visiting and trying to check the broken unit without even opening it up to find where the problem was. wasted a couple weeks of my time without heat in a freezing house waiting for them just to say that they wouldn't work on the units. i gladly paid them to come out every 6 months to keep my hvac system working and in good order, but they dropped the ball as soon as real problems occurred. waste of money. if you want to be a filter changing company, then just change filters. do not waste your money like i did with this company. read more

Current HVAC service came out to do the fall service. Technician didn't do a 'service' but told us there was mold in the unit and it would cost $1800 to put a Band-Aid for potentially a year or so of service OR we could have the owner of the company come out and give us a bid for a new system. Appointment made for 10 days later. He gave us 3 suggestions bronze, platinum, and gold, in addition entire duct work had to be replaced, told us the price (had to pick myself up from the floor). He would email a written estimate the following morning with a follow-up call. This is when their ability to communicate went downhill. Next day no estimate received, or follow-up call was received. We knew the brand name but not what model. I called the office three days later and asked what model, girl couldn't find the information and said she'd call right back. Who would make such a large purchase without reviewing the model? Meanwhile began looking into other systems and kept coming up with Daikin. Daikin caught our attention, had great reviews and a much better warranty, 12 years! This is how I found B & C Mechanical (which also had great reviews). Called on Friday, very friendly person and had appointment with Travis for Monday morning @ 8:30 a.m. Travis was punctual, had a great demeanor and attentive to what we needed. Travis examined our system and told us we didn't need to replace the whole duct work (what ???) He went over the Daikin system with a high degree of knowledge of the product. Said he'd have an estimate emailed over in a few hours. A man of his word - estimate professionally written including model number and whole scope of work. Impressive! We did our research and hired B & C Mechanical to install the following week. Install was moved up as they had a change in their schedule, day of install Travis and crew arrived at 8:30 am as scheduled. Travis went over with the crew the scope of work. The crew of four was polite, friendly and showed great teamwork they really had a great system for install. They did the whole project in a day, cleaned up afterwards. We purchased the Daikin Fit, Merv 11 filter system, and Diakin One Thermostat (1/2 the cost from the other company). The system is extremely quiet, so quiet that we have to look at the thermostat to see if it's on. Thermostat is very responsive it was set up with high and low temps, shows a blue light for air and red light for heat. and spot on with the temperature. We are extremely happy with the system and with B & C Mechanical. Thank you Travis and crew for a wonderful experience - you have a customer for life. read more
