I had work done in late February and received an invoice in early March for the work. I was out of town at the time and didn't pay it right away after I got back. A few days ago I received 1 phone call and they left voicemail asking for payment. Yesterday I received 7 phone calls in a span of 2 minutes. I was on another call but put it on hold to answer the 7th call. When I asked why the need to pester in such a way instead of leaving a voice mail, she claimed she had left several voice mails and calls over some period of time since the invoice was sent 45 days ago. I acknowledged that I was late and that I would pay it and did so. I also offered to provide my Verizon phone records that showed only 1 call from them and not the 'several' that she says she has logged on her call sheet. I asked for an owner/manager to call me back to follow up. She took a very hostile attitude right from the beginning of the conversation rather than listen to a customers concerns. I offered to provider her with real phone records that contradict what her staff person has been telling her but she didn't seem to care about facts. I then told her it appears she didn't want me as a customer any longer. While she indicated that wasn't the case, her attitude continued to be belligerent and hostile. I won't be doing business with this company any longer and I recommend anyone considering it to look elsewhere.

I emailed back the same day saying I just wanted to order the opener and didn't need the install. Also asked how to proceed with the order. Never heard back. Pinged again. Never heard back. I have proof and this is just to make people aware of his lack of professionalism*** Not only did they fail to complete the home project, but they abandoned it halfway through, leaving us with shoddy workmanship and a mess to clean up, for example, excrement left by one of his workers in the toilet (when water was cut) for weeks. No apologies, and they took days to remove it. They also damaged the garage door, by backing their truck, and never had the intention to fix it. There was zero time management or supervision, leading to constant delays and excuses. So many excuses. The quality of their work was appalling, with obvious signs of incompetence at every turn. Jeremie was incredibly rude and unprofessional. For a veteran who is supposed to be Military family- friendly, it was beyond disappointing. Save yourself the headache and avoid Joat services at all costs. They failed to deliver on every promise they made.

Granted half the time was an accident. Our equipment also failed multiple times and they would come fix it under warranty but we had to pay for technician to come out. When we finally cancelled they told us to send them an email on May 17, 2019 and we would be done. I did so and than they still charged me $74.55. When I asked them why they said it was part of the contract. During my many phone calls leading up to us leaving Vivint, all I was told was to send an email on May 17, 2019 and noone mentioned anything about another charge for 30 days. They pulled a fast one on us and couldn't explain why none of the people who we had talked to told us about this aspect. They just said sorry and that was it. I would recommend going elsewhere or buying your own equipment.
