Another amazing experience at Menards--thanks to Jason!…read more This is actually the second time I've left a glowing review for Menards because I continue to be blown away by the customer service. I walked into the Rapid City, South Dakota store with a list of plumbing items and zero clue where to find anything. That's when Jason stepped in! He didn't just point me in the right direction--he personally helped me track down every single item on my list with patience, kindness, and a great attitude. I left the store feeling supported and totally taken care of. Jason deserves a raise! Menards, you've got a rockstar on your team. Thank you again for making something stressful feel so easy. Everything was handled over the phone. And I am very pleased to say I was extremely happy with the results. The job was not an easy one. Have you seen the tall spruce trees up at Terry Peak? Well, they had to take two of them out.. Very old, tall, mature trees. A few other small ones as well, but the big ones were as tall as they get. I highly recommend Cruz Quality Tree Service. They are professionals, timely, hard working and meticulous. Pricing was fair. And they took all the mess away as well. They will always be my go to Tree guys!

Even worse, there always seemed to be a crisis when I was on vacation or busy with my business. Charles put an end to all of that. He has been nothing but honest, equitable and fair with all parties involved. I called quite a few places around town and drove over 3000 miles round trip to meet with multiple property managers. Charles stood out from the beginning, he got back to me when he said he would, was patient explaining how he worked and was punctual. He went out of his way to put my mind at ease from the first call to signing the agreement and beyond. More importantly Charles never promised anything he didn't deliver. There were places that charged considerably more and there were place that promised more for less money, but couldn't even return calls or keep a simple appointment after I drove across the country to meet them. Charles will see that your property reaches it's full potential, and will pay for himself in the process. He is a small business man who knows how to treat everyone involved. He makes himself available after hours for emergencies or as needed. He knows how to deal with contractors and makes getting work done on your property painless. He became very childish and pushy for me to have the property "showroom ready". He kept mentioning finding a tenant so i " could get out of rent" prior to the end of lease. something I never mentioned, wanted, or asked for. he asked me to pay utilities for a month I wasnt there to allow a new tenant to begin moving in early. I obliged. I paid rent up to when we agreed. He kept my entire double month's rent security deposit (which I now know is illegal to even request -SDCL 43-32-6.1, ) charging me every time he went to look or show the house, an oven rack that was never there, and a month of rent that he already had a new tenant paying rent for and on a lease at the same property. He has been an absolute nightmare and I have filed a consumer protection complaint, small claims court, and any avenue I can to spread the word on this absolute scandalous and criminal behavior.

I did that. The second company finally sent someone out to look. He looked, and looked and looked. Wrote down a lot of stuff and NEVER got back to me. In the meantime BHF came out again (for free) and this time had enough info to order a unit. When it came in they came out, removed the old unit completely, redid the gas line and electrical, even installed an outlet close to the new fireplace for a CO and smoke detector. They did it all without having to remove an existing mantle and big screen TV! They finished it right down to the drywall.
