I have previously done business with Superior and was satisfied with their work so I signed up for their gutter cleaning service. Unfortunately this was not a positive experience and ended with a somewhat threatening call from the owner. Two guys showed up to clean the gutters and were here for less than 15 minutes. After they left I quickly inspected a section of the gutters and found that the downspouts were not cleaned at all and there was still dirt and leaves in the gutter. I took some photos and contacted Superior to dispute the invoice as the work was not completed correctly. The person I spoke with saw my pictures, agreed the work was substandard and offered to send their employees back out. I didn't want them back on my roof, potentially upset about being called out for sub par work so I refused and said I didn't want to pay the invoice. The office employee said they would have someone call me to discuss further. After three weeks with no response I called again and was told I would receive a call. Two weeks later the owner called me saying he has pictures showing the work was completed correctly and that they do not clean downspouts. He said he wasn't going to discuss the issue any further and if I refused to pay the invoice he would send it to collections. With no recourse outside of litigation, which would be costly and unjustified over a $100 invoice, I reluctantly paid it. I have video footage from my security cameras to prove my claims as well as a couple of pictures following the job. I want others to be aware of my terrible experience and to be careful if you choose to do business with this company. After speaking with others who have done business with this company and reading other's reviews, intimidation seems to be a common tactic along with substandard work. Went with them to replace siding, windows and gutters due to hail storm damage. They ran out of materials which is special order, so now my house is with unfinished siding and exposed to the elements. The material to get the job done won't be in until December. I hired Superior Siding twice over the past 10 years. First to fix hail damage, second to replace my vinyl siding with a sturdier siding. I was impressed by their top notch customer service! I received a date my siding would be installed, received a phone call every week checking in and letting me know my date was still on schedule and on that date, they arrived. The siding crew was 100% professional and did a fantastic job, they came out and did a check a year later and repaired anything they deemed as loose or not quite up to their standards. I didn't have to even think about it! They initiated it and fixed any problems their trained eyes saw. I really appreciated that and when I sold my house, that siding added to my resale value! What a joke, Adrian came out over a week ago to provide a "free estimate" on hail damage AND a to bid a complete job of residing our house out of our own pocket. A week later never heard a word from him, but get a corporate binding contract in my email to sign to lock us in with their company. I reached out to Adrian and inquired on the estimate and he asked if I had signed the binding contract which I responded I have not because I didn't receive a quote. He then told me that they were way too busy to provide me an estimate if I wasn't willing to sign the contract, as they only give quotes when working through insurance. I was disgusted and shared with him that he wasted not only two hours of his time, but two hours of my time for the false advertisement of offering "free estimates"...what if we decided to pay out of pocket for all of it and not file a claim! How disheartening to be treated like that! Don't use this company!!!! read more
