I called Superior the next day and on the 14th…read morehad one of their guys checking out my roof to see the damage, was sure my roof was going need total replacement. Matt was the guy that took it from there. He came out and looked at the roof again to get another look. He took my insurance paperwork with him and said he would get back to me in a couple days. Two days later he was out in this area and we went through the claim paperwork. The insurance company had some low grade products and not enough of another product to meet codes. Matt said they would put my roof back together with the newer products that they use on every roof and would put the weather guard product to meet county codes. They started replacing my roof on September 11 and gutters and roof were complete in 2 days. Done correctly , on time, and cleaned up my property. Not an easy task at all. I have a lot of steep pitches, part of my roof is 2 stories, it is not an easy job. In addition to my house, there is a detached garage and a small building in the back. Its a wooded 6 acre lot that there guys walked my entire lot picking up every piece rubbish from all these buildings, again, not a pleasant task because of the terain. One other issue that came up in the process was 6 pieces of roof plywood that were rotted. They replaced the plywood at no charge. The crew was pleasant, worked like crazy the first day until dark. Matt took pictures sent them to the insurance company with the invoice. I had a check 2 weeks later and paid Superior the next day. Six weeks after this hail storm and roof and gutters were done. Can't get any better than that. A couple weeks later one of their guys came out and replaced 3 pieces of siding and 3 plastic vent covers. The reason I hired this company was an experience I had in December. A week before Christmas there was a a strange wind storm, it blew 3 pieces of siding off the upper level, to replace these 3 pieces they had to work off of a 12/12 pitch. That's not the kind of job anyone wanted to do. I sent pictures to one of the ladies in the office. Brady called me the next day and was almost apologetic on the price since it was just 3 pieces of siding. I live on west highway 40 by Keystone, inter, steep pitch. It was a fair price. They found a day that they felt safe to work off that steep pitch. They had picked up the siding and painted at their shop. After I called about this little job, they took it from there. I don't think I could've found any other company willing to work on this crazy chopped up house in an area 30 miles away. But they did it twice and am happy to have this type of relationship with these guys. I will add one more thing, there was a hail storm out in my area the month before I got hit, about 7 o'clock that night I got a call from one of the girls in the office to see I got hit by that storm. They had guys out patching roofs and checked to see if I needed help. Enough said! Wish I could remember the names of the ladies in the office and the other guys but to many others I've been working with. In all this chaos there wasn't A single cranky person that I talked to.

Unfortunately this was not a positive experience and ended with a somewhat threatening call from the owner. Two guys showed up to clean the gutters and were here for less than 15 minutes. After they left I quickly inspected a section of the gutters and found that the downspouts were not cleaned at all and there was still dirt and leaves in the gutter. I took some photos and contacted Superior to dispute the invoice as the work was not completed correctly. The person I spoke with saw my pictures, agreed the work was substandard and offered to send their employees back out. I didn't want them back on my roof, potentially upset about being called out for sub par work so I refused and said I didn't want to pay the invoice. The office employee said they would have someone call me to discuss further. After three weeks with no response I called again and was told I would receive a call. Two weeks later the owner called me saying he has pictures showing the work was completed correctly and that they do not clean downspouts. He said he wasn't going to discuss the issue any further and if I refused to pay the invoice he would send it to collections. With no recourse outside of litigation, which would be costly and unjustified over a $100 invoice, I reluctantly paid it. I have video footage from my security cameras to prove my claims as well as a couple of pictures following the job. I want others to be aware of my terrible experience and to be careful if you choose to do business with this company. After speaking with others who have done business with this company and reading other's reviews, intimidation seems to be a common tactic along with substandard work. I will no longer be doing business with Superior and caution others to do so at your own risk.
