The quality they deliver is uncommon, being that it's so good, and the crew is so experienced. I noticed they use a lot of new equipment too, and put a priority on safety, quality, and doing things correctly the first time. That meant a lot to me as a customer to know I wouldn't have to deal with breakdowns and excuses from using old and broken tools and gear. Start to finish, my job was done in three days. I can't say enough how happy I am with the finished product. They did a 20 x 25 brushed finish patio, and a 5 x 10 pad next to my garage. We hired G Ruh Concrete to install a patio at our home a little over a year ago. Not long after the job was completed, we noticed several quality issues -- ones they acknowledged and promised to fix. Unfortunately, despite repeated assurances, the follow-through never came. Over the past year, we've made every reasonable attempt to resolve the situation: calls, texts, emails -- all ignored. Most recently, we've discovered we've been blocked on social media, which feels like a final attempt to shut down any communication or accountability. They did an awesome job on a new stamped concrete patio. Maximus was less money than all of the…read morelandscaping companies that we got quotes from plus we really wanted concrete instead of the bricks that most places wanted to install. We're planning to add in a gazebo with power for a fan and lights plus add in landscaping all around the patio and Maximus worked with us on planning for all of that. We have conduit running under the concrete to the right places for the gazebo as well as low voltage lines for landscape lights as well. The firepit in the middle of one end of the patio includes a 4 inch clay water drain to keep it dry. Then the inside walls of the firepit are filled with air holes and there is an air supply tube running under the concrete to help the fire burn hot and clean to cut down on the smoke. They really went above and beyond what all of our other quotes were offering and they did it for less money than everyone else.

We are, however, disappointed by the lack of responses to inquiries about some visibly poor workmanship at the entry/approach. My husband reached out to Gary a couple of times. He responded to texts but no site visit to address what is poor workmanship. We understood the curing process would take time, however the disappointing workmanship near the entry has not been addressed. For these reasons, we would not recommend and, can't undo our decision to go with a different contractor that did a neighbor's driveway. Very unfortunate since pre-job (contract phase) they're on point. Post job....very disappointing The "splatter" along the edge of the approach is not a good look. This isn't a curing issue, this is poor workmanship that's not going away. Was hoping it would be addressed and possibly correctable so reached out early on. The 2nd pic with straw is nearly 4 weeks later. Again, that's not a curing issue. The opposite side is smooth. That gray messy "splatter" is not good!
