Rain one stopped to help me as I wasn't able to get over a huge mound of snow leading into work. We were so relieved because I was going into work to relieve someone that I've been there for 24 hours. So,thank you, thank you, thank you from the blonde in the Black Audi TTS!!!!! read more

Awesome service and customer attention! We have had our system for 25 years and always maintained by Rain One . Still working great !! read more

Poorly run organization that overcharges for their services or lack thereof. Consistently misses major segments of the spring start up and fall winterization forcing the customer to bear the expense and frustration caused by their inept service team. Choose someone else, you be doing yourself a favor! read more

Rain One's installation of our irrigation system went very well. The large crew worked together like a well-oiled machine to install the underground piping and equipment. And just like their previous work at our home three years ago, when they replaced exterior pipes carrying water from downspouts, the lawn looked pretty much undisturbed because the crew either tunneled below the surface or neatly replaced sod that had to be removed. Bobby, the team leader -- who led our previous project -- did an excellent job leading the crew, installing the electronics and explaining how the controller and rain sensor worked. He also talked to us, then to our electrician on the phone, about an outlet that needed to be replaced for permanent power to the controller. The sales rep, Jeff Schmidt, who we had also met on the previous job, explained the new system when he came for the proposal. A nice surprise was when he told us a raised flower bed could also have irrigation because Rain One had installed piping in that bed during the previous job. Jeff worked with our landscaper on scheduling and arrived before the crew to coordinate with them. While the crew was working, we realized there were two downspouts that needed to be extended to the ground and connected to the exterior piping system. Bobby called Jeff, and within a short time, Jeff had emailed a contract and the crew installed and connected the downspouts. We were impressed that the equipment needed for this add-on job was on the truck and grateful they could take care of it immediately. After three hours, the installation was finished, and Bobby presented us with a pair of lovely wineglasses and a thank you note. The next day, one of the new sprinkler heads had a slow leak. We called Rain One service, and Tony (a super nice guy) was at our house less than two hours later. He took care of the problem and explained what had caused it. The crew was respectful of our property, and we enjoyed the way they joked around, especially young Dustin. They wore neat Rain One shirts, which added to the impression of professionalism. The friendly office staff handled permits, billing, credit card payments and appointment confirmations efficiently. The new equipment is great. We are very happy with Rain One. read more

Rain One Irrigation and Drainage - a backyard with a lawn and a garage - Snow Removal Near Me - Blacklick, Ohio

Failed to winterize properly and caused issues that they had to come back out and repair. They're now trying to double charge now for the work that wasn't completed properly in the first place. Just a mess of an organization when it comes to service. Also changed values inside the house which were not approved by the homeowner and then proceeded to try and charge us for that as well. Don't be fooled. read more

Will never use again. It was discovered that my sprinkler line was cut during a routine winterization. The tech told me he "needed" to repair it to complete the winterization. Made it sound routine. It took 10 minutes and the only materials were a short piece of pipe. Cost $164. Not for the whole appointment. Just for that small repair! When I wrote the company and brought up how preposterous this price was, this was the response: "All of our repairs are priced at a flat rate for the repair and are inclusive of parts & labor, regardless of the amount of time." In other words, too bad for me. No customer service. No consideration for being a customer for 6 years. No discount. And when I let them know that I would drop them as my provider, this was the response I got from Melissa: "Thanks for letting us know." Gee, now doesn't that just make you want to give them your business read more

I have called this company many times, the lady who answers told me that she would send a quote and with that set up a time for service, I tried multiple times to quest a quote and service with no response at all. This lady is unacceptable for their business. I thought it was great to focus on customers and build a good business. Well, they don't want to even respond let alone take care of customers. Very disappointed on how they have ignored the customer. So disappointing. read more

We had some issues with our sump pump, called another referred company who replaced the sump pump, then ran a camera to assess drainage damage. They only went from the road to the sidewalk, said they couldn't go from the back of the house toward the sidewalk. Quoted us $1500-$2400 to repair and replace drainage. Called Rain One for another estimate. Right off the bat, communication, explanation was better. They DID run a camera from not only the back of the house, but also the other side of the house. Did a thorough assessment, AND drilled a hole in our curb that was not allowing drainage on that side of the house. Quote to replace the damaged drainage pipe...about $450. And they took care to fix the irrigation system and electric dog fence if it was cut. These guys are top notch. I never write reviews but our experience with Rain One was one worth passing on. Definitely recommend them as a first call. read more

Have had Rain1 service my irrigation service over the past few years. Service has slipped. Contacted them for a winterization service a month and a half ago and still waiting. If you aren't on one of their service plans they put you at the very back of their list. read more

Up front and honest. So glad that I went with this company. My downspout drain lines have been clogged up for a long time and I wasn't sure the extent of the problem because we have not owned the home very long. They found the end of the drain line buried 12" deep in the back yard and cleaned the end of it out. So glad I didn't have to replace anything. Also the work ended up being less than the upfront quote they gave. Thank you! read more

They did a great job from the initial super quick estimate to the install. First off let me mention that i started out with Drainworks, who wouldn't do the job huge waste of time and money. Rain One was excellent the job was completed so quick and easy without me being home they are truly amazing. Love the quality of the work. I needed new ground drains all around my home and the work was completed in an excellent fashion. Thank you Rain One!! read more

I'm rating Rain one a five star because of how considerate a team member was. He let me know that he was going to be starting a flush on an irrigation system and it would spray toward the school bus stop so we could move the kids out of the way. But after learning how hard that would be and that the bus was almost there, He kindly waited to perform his job until our neighborhood kids were completely on the school bus. I would recommend this company based on how considerate he was. That is the type of person You want doing the actual work and servicing the product. read more

Rain One just finished installing our new sprinkler system.  I have been very, very impressed with them so far.  We're in a new housing development and waiting months for the sod to be installed.  When Jeff, with Rain One, came out two months ago, he told us we'd want to get it installed between the final grading of  the yard and the installation of the sod.  Otherwise you'd have to wait for the sod to root before it could be installed--and think of all that manual watering we'd have to do in the meantime.  Jeff said they would work with us as best as they could to make sure that happened on their end.  We got absolutely no cooperation from the builders.  After almost two months of excuses on why the sod wasn't getting installed, we finally got the final grading done on a Monday with no word on when the sod would be installed.  I immediately contacted Jeff and within an hour he got back to us.  He said the guys that mark the underground utilities would come Tuesday and his crew would be here at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning and would have it done that day.  He did say he made a client grumpy by bumping her appointment, but timing was of the essence for us.  Thank you grumpy customer for letting us have your spot.  The delightful crew, headed up by Bob, arrived before 8 this morning, got busy and were done by early afternoon.  They're fluffing up of the soil and leveling was so much better than the sod crews leveling/fluffing I am much more optimistic that I may have a smoother lawn to mow should the sod ever get installed.  Thank you to Rain One for redeeming my faith in great customer service!! read more
