We were in town for a concert and to meet up with some friends and it happened to be "Free Comic Book Day" and we had time to kill, so we stopped at some local shops including the Deep at their new location. They had all the goodies for giveaways-- who can beat 3 free comics plus another 5 freebies if you make a purchase? The companies (Marvel, DC, and the indies) made a good show of rolling out freebies to give readers a sample of current offerings and hopefully they roped in some new readers. It was nice to see The Deep still has a swath of back issues, I was able to cross several titles off my never-ending search list as I poked around the store. They still have a wall of new releases, a ton of games and figures, etc. It was also very cool to see such a wide diversity of readership, people of all ages and backgrounds grabbing up new releases and picking up pull lists. Not sure if ownership has changed in the past decade or more or if it's more to do with the changing vibes of the subculture itself becoming more mainstream and accessible, but it just felt overall more "welcoming" and open than ever before so that anyone can find the book they're looking for and get into comics. Very cool. Plenty of parking. Appreciated the additional 20% off of purchases for the comic book day, and back issue prices are fair--more expensive than some, far cheaper than others.

Amazing shop w/ great selection & a lot of heart!!!!!…read more I found the site on Christmas Eve when I was Googling Star Wars figures, and wound up placing a mid-size order for a bunch of used Star Wars action figures - they shipped them out right after Christmas, and just a day later I had them in hand. This was the first time I'd ever heard of Infinity Flux, and I was super impressed with how they got 4 figures packed, shipped, and delivered within 3 days, all during a holiday week. I love seeing an independent comic shop thriving, and caring well for their customers. Will be placing more orders in the future - thanks!!

Basically came to .04 per card not a bad deal. So we drove an hour and arrived. First impression of the store was nice huge variety of tcgs collectibles etc. spoke with the same gentleman again that I spoke with over the phone asked again about the 1000 count bulk box and how much it would be, went to talk to his boss and came back and said it would be 50$ I immediately said no, while it may have come out to be .05 per card I knew from previous experience with my hometown card shop that was double the price, so I decided we would just do a few bags and call it. So we sat for an hour went through a couple of boxes and made a selection close to 200 ish cards went to go put them in the bag and quickly realized there was no way in heck 100 cards would fit in this bag barely 40 cards fit without bending this meant the per card price was .10 per card nearly triple the original price I was told over the phone. At this point I returned the cards and left the shop. And will not be returning. The only saving grace was the last gentleman I spoke with who was willing to negotiate on the price of the stack of 100 I had already brought to him but after nearly an hour of sorting and collecting, I had enough, customers had zero sense of boundaries was bumped several times in the head by a guy with a back pack while I was going threw the bulk. Then he proceeded to push his chair all the way against mine even after I scooted in closer to the table. So will not be going back due to prices and customer related issues.
