I brought in a watch, silver coins, and 45 sequential silver certificates in outstanding condition. The clerk was willing to work with the watch and coins, but not the silver certificates. I recently left a shop manager position for a national pawn chain in order to relocate to the Valley (company wouldn't provide me a transfer). The service provided at this particular outlet was average at best. Had he been my employee, his tenure would've been short lived. I will not return.

Avoid This Pawn Shop for Electronics! I needed a replacement…read morelaptop urgently and decided to check out this pawn shop. Big mistake. - Customer service? Practically nonexistent. I had to ask for help just to make a purchase. - Return policy? You have to pay extra for a short warranty just to return a faulty product. - Laptop condition? Claimed to be factory reset--wasn't. Staff Googled how to fix it. - Specs? Advertised 12GB RAM, 1TB storage--turned out to be far less. Instead of a reliable machine, I got false advertising, zero accountability, and wasted time. If I could give negative stars, I would. Take your business elsewhere!

They are slick with their tongue, they said 150$ for the ring and first and i ask for more and the guy behind the counter said "maybe my manager could get you 160, then when i said ill shop around and came back i said ill do it for 150, they changed their story and 115, I was pretty quick to be disappointed but said to myself 115 and 150 do sound alike. But i brought up how he mentioned the 160 dollar possibility and the same guy the same day said idk what you're talking about. Today they really did me wrong by immediately requesting ID and then filing down my ring just to back out. I went down the road and sold the rings for more and was treated much better. I've also helped them with numerous repairs being a gunsmith, watchmaker & jeweler. When people sell things to a pawn shop there's almost always something wrong with it from minor to major issues. I've always made it as good or better than new when he asked my help. I've been out of circulation for years due mostly to health issues but I've never left and I'm doing much better now. If you buy something from Gold Pawn you get something you'll get nowhere else. Namely ME!!!! If there's any kind of problem, primarily with firearms, that you bought sold, traded, etc... all you need do is ask for Cap'n Rob's help. Lenny will contact me and we'll make it right for you. I don't work for Gold Pawn, never have, just happy to help a good friend if he needs me. That means I don't charge ANYTHING for my labor if it's an issue involving Gold Pawn subject OF COURSE to Lenny's approval. Regarding those few who've complained, I'm shocked. I've known this family for years and have NEVER known them to not do EVERYTHING in they're power to make things right when there's a problem. Unfortunately, there will always be people who refuse to be placated no matter what. We've all met such individuals. I first met the Gold Pawn family as a buying customer, we've been good friends ever since. Such good friends in fact that I'm happy to provide them help when needed at no charge. Do I get return favors in terms of service, discounts... of course! That's not why I help though. As far as pawn shops go, I can't think of a better one to bring you're business to. They're friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable, highly consummate professionals. Everyone has an occasional bad day and no one is perfect would be my response to complainers. Of which there appear to be very few. In rare event of one of those issues, I'd suggest reminding Lenny I'm happy to help. Just give ole' Cap'n Rob a call.
