My car was having a ton of issues for months and the dealerships/ other shops didn't want to give it the time of day to look at it. The guys at B&B ran just about every test you can think of and they found the source of my issues AND updated me on exactly what I needed done with a fair price before installing anything. They worked fast and got the parts I needed ASAP even with them not being in stock. So impressed! We came here to get our tires replaced and truly felt like we had honest, affordable feedback and quality work. A few months back we had another experience (at a different place) where one item snow balled into 3 or 4 and we ended up paying several thousand dollars for the work. That place also didn't inform us of the costs upfront. We felt very taken advantage of. It was refreshing to go in to B&B and get the work done that was promised. My company in Georgetown has been using B&B since 2013. You won't find a more professional and polite group of auto repair folks anywhere. They are very honest and tell it like it is. The owner Mark Boulanger is always available to discuss your concerns and you are treated with respect. One time a few years back I had a very unique electrical / computer problem with my car and Mark diagnosed it exactly. He then gave me the name of a specialist who dealt in automobile computer issues who repaired it and I sincerely appreciated Mark's honesty. Most any other auto repair companies would have kept trying different things and driving up the bill, but not B&B. Wherever you live on the north shore of Boston, it is worth the trip to B&B. read more

I've had 2 cars that have gotten in accidents and have brought them both to Scott in the body shop. He did a great job with fixing them, as well as blending the paint which I know can be tedious and hard to get a perfect color match. However, he made it happen and I couldn't be happier. My car looks brand new! I also get all of my inspection stickers from Mark, who is a great guy (also the owner). I also couldn't help but comment on Robin's review below mine. My family and I have taken our cars to Scott for over 20 years and I can genuinely say he is extremely honest. I'm not sure why someone would get 5 estimates for their car, but she missed out by not going to B&B. I've sent many friends there over the years who couldn't be happier. I stopped by B & B today for a quote on some body work. I had already phones 2 other area auto body shops that had given me estimates for replacing my bumper (estimates included parts, both new and after market, plus labor); but since B & B is local, I thought I would stop in. The man that came out to look at my car began by telling me that my bumper alone would cost (new) more than "a couple hundred dollars" (which I already knew was an extremely high since both previous shops had actually checked the price for me and told me that, brand new, the cost would be no more than $120) Next, he began discussing paint matching, telling me that, in short, the better I want it to look, the more it's going to cost. His initial guesstimate was $500-ish. 10 minutes later when he was finished talking about the complexities of color matching, he told me the cost would be more like $650-800. I asked for something in writing and he shrugged me off. So, I basically have narrowed this down to 2 possible scenarios: a) B&B is not the least bit interested in my business or b) they won't provide a written estimate in order to leave the door as wide open as possible to "add on" more work as they go. I should note also, that I brought my car to 2 more local shops after B & B, both of whom were more than willing to take a few minutes to really look at my car (even crawling underneath to check for any structural damage) and enter the appropriate info into the computer and hand me written estimates explained the price of parts and anticipated labor. Both estimates were considerably lower than the outrageous tally that the guy from B & B seemed to be making up as he went along. I've never written a review based purely on "attitude" rather than service but I am making an exception. This guy was a jerk and I would never even step foot back on that property. That's the kind of arrogance and scamming I might have expected from a dealer, not from a local, small-town autobody shop. read more

Dude took my car out for a ride and had 100 miles and got my car with only 20 miles without any explanation. The owner will come up with excuses to increase labor costs that is more money then what you came for to fix. Definitely go somewhere else. Not the right place to get your car fixed or looked at. read more

We have been customers of B And B for 20 plus years. No need to go anywhere else. They have been honest, fair, understanding and reliable. Honest with their estimates, diagnosis and time frame. Fair in that they have told me several times over 20 years that the car wasn't worth the repair and time to move on. Understanding in that over all these years sometimes I couldnt afford the best tires and they could suggest a more affordable option. I've been using B&B for twenty five years and wouldn't dream of going to another mechanic. Three generations of my family now brings their cars to them. They're upfront and honest about pricing and Mark will tell you when something can be skipped, delayed, or if it should be taken care of immediately. While I haven't had much cause to use Scott's auto body service, my mother has used it quite often over the years and she's always been very happy with his work. read more
