I had a great experience at Bunda! It was challenging, but I felt greats overall after each session I attended. I got the 3 classes for $10 trial bundle when my friend referred me. It was a great deal so I had to take it up! Walking in each time, the staff was super welcoming and friendly. They gave me a tour, a rundown of how everything works, and were overall engaging and positive which I appreciated. It helped because I'm usually tense in new experiences like this. The facility itself was nice as well! They had nice bathrooms with lots of amenities like face wash and changing rooms. I also liked the active room as well. It was organized in a way to allow for efficient workouts. The lighting and music also created a fun and lively ambiance. All the classes I took were great as a whole. The instructors were very helpful and engaging. I also like the variety of the workouts from the strength training on the floor to the stair masters themselves. I would definitely consider become a regular if I lived closer.

    Trainer and bad ass Nicole!

This is a tough workout, prepare to get challenged physically and mentally-- you will be sweating like your life depends on it. However, you cannot deny the results. Toned legs, increased Vo2 max, lower resting heart rate... and on and on. Yes the stair master is hard, BUT you are only on the stair master in 10-13 minute intervals at varying levels.... We can do hard things. Highly recommend - Nicole is my favorite at the Santa Monica location.

Do people wear masks for the rooftop workout? If not, are they spaced out six feet or more?

Masks are not required on the rooftop as you are outside AND spaced out at least 6ft from others in class. Feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so!

    Do they have showers?

:( No, they do not. But they offer great products in the restroom, in the event you aren't traveling with any.

What kind of music do they play here?

Depends on the teacher of the class. But overall I'd say a mix of hip hop and top 40 :)

It is the location. It is in two office buildings, with a premium on floor spaces, so no pool is understandable. Although I have been to Washington DC, where another LA Fitness is in an office building. That one has a pool and jacuzzi, so it is what it is. Be grateful to have a LA Fitness in the mid Wilshire district. In my home area, Puente Hill North the only club we have left is Diamond Bar, and that club is not pretty. Back to the Wilshire club it has everything else beside the pool and jacuzzi. I think that it does not have a steam room as well. However, it is ok. I simply go to this club to hang out while I wait for LACMA open, so no complaint on my part. Ray out.

Also, they take forever to fix anything. I keep seeing scheduled for service signs all over, and take weeks or months to get handled. Now the water fountains are out, with one being out for two weeks already, and the only open one is basically hot/warm water. One thing that has really been bothering me, is them having workers clean the locker room/sauna when guests are around. The harsh chemicals they use make the smell unbearable, and hurt my eyes. They also take over showers and bathrooms and the sauna. My question which I've posed to the manager, is why can't they clean when guests are not around? Like right when they open or before they close? Or better yet, like every other establishment, have cleaning happen 30min before opening and 30min after closing. It's really ridiculous and inconvenient. Especially for those of us who have to go straight to work after.

I went to ask the staff to help. 15 minutes later, went back to the staff member who said they forgot and told me to go into an empty room - that corporate had been there the day before and put it in the empty room. I went in to get the board per their instruction. The fitness manager was in there. She is beyond rude in her demeanor, was stalking me, speaking negatively about me to her class. Dangerous behavior - spreading hate. The front desk person told me to "watch my back" because the fitness manager "has it out for you". She also told me to get heavier weights when I was in need of the lightest weights possible, negligent as a fitness manager. I told the manager I did not know why she was hyperfocused on me. At approximately 1 a.m., I arrived with my partner to work out. An employee who identified himself as Adrian approached our check-in with a condescending tone and an attitude that made us feel unwelcome before we even entered the facility. My membership includes guest privileges. When he explained that my partner needed to complete a waiver, we complied without objection. There was no issue with following the policy. There was an issue with how he spoke to us, how he handled the interaction, and a delay that felt unnecessary. What made the experience particularly troubling was observing him speak to another member in a noticeably softer, more respectful manner while addressing me with what I experienced as irritation and aggression. As an African American member, that difference raised a serious concern about equal treatment. I cannot know what motivated his behavior, but I know how we were treated and how unwelcome it made us feel. My partner no longer even wanted to come inside. I chose EŌS over 24 Hour Fitness, Anytime Fitness, and Gold's Gym. The facility appealed to me, but the employees at my home gym in Hollywood were what helped earn my business. They were welcoming, professional, and thorough when I signed up. This interaction fell far below the standard they established. I pay over $100 a month. I work two jobs, have three children, and make time around my responsibilities to take care of my health. When I arrive during advertised operating hours, I expect basic courtesy. Neither my partner nor I should have to earn respectful treatment at the front desk. As a retail operations manager, I understand that employees must enforce policies. I also understand that enforcing a policy does not require condescension, hostility, or making a customer feel like an inconvenience. Professionalism matters most when an employee has something to explain. Positive reviews do not excuse a negative interaction or place any employee above accountability. This experience deserves to be addressed on its own merits. I have already submitted feedback directly to EŌS. I am now requesting prompt contact from the general manager or district management, a fair review of this incident, and a clear explanation of how this concern will be addressed. Every member and guest deserves consistent, respectful service--regardless of skin color or the hour they walk through the door. EŌS earned my membership with professionalism. Management now needs to show good faith and address this matter promptly.

BOOM. Ringworm. Not exactly what Beyoncé meant when she said "put a ring on it." Now look, I'm not blaming Planet Fitness for this. This was clearly caused by the puddle of human soup left on the leg machine by that hot guy wearing a My Chemical Romance T-shirt, denim shorts, and Converse. No wonder he was sweating so much. Brother was dressed like he had a double shift at Hot Topic after this. So I go to the front desk and ask the employee what I should do about the ringworm and without even blinking he reaches behind the counter and pulls out a communal tube of Lotrimin antifungal cream like it was hand sanitizer. There's a Pilates area in the back and a little massage room. Also the aesthetics were soo pleasing. The lights were really good for pictures and very flattering. I don't love when gyms are all black and dark but this has a black modern vibe. I saw each trainer clean their equipment after they trained so that reassured me that everything was in fact clean. Bathrooms well stocked and there's a vending machine if you need some fuel. Will definitely be back!
