I was on my way to lunch so I decided to eat first -- when I came back a little bit later it was just as busy, though. I had a quick browse and they have a good selection, lots of stuff in both the ladies and mens sections. The only thing that I found a bit lacking were the color options, particularly in the leggings department. An employee did stop and ask how I was getting on while I browsed. The wait in line was quite long, probably 15 minutes, so if you're short on time it'd be best not to come on a Saturday at lunchtime. I didn't mind the wait too much except for the Mirror display (their work-out product) - which kind of yells at everyone as they come in the store and was quite tiresome to hear repeatedly while in line. Oh, and there are about a million opportunities to impulse buy accessories in line - you have been warned! I've had good experiences at this store in the past, they've always been friendly, which I think is pretty vital when their wares are sold at a premium. I usually shop online since I know my sizing and it's easy to see if they have the colors and sizes I'm looking for in stock. That means I end up mostly returning things to this store rather than shopping here. They've always been friendly and quick with returns. My most recent was a debit card refund and the money loaded onto my account right away. I've also had success with their order to pick-up. I was in a hurry to get a new yoga mat awhile back and I liked that I was able to see what they had in stock from the website, order, and collect it a couple of hours later. I've noticed that Lululemon also has good relationships with many of the yoga instructors around town -- of course it's partly marketing, but it makes the place feel accessible. It's great to see them collaborating with local instructors and studios and making an effort to be part of those communities. All in, nice store, I'm glad we have it.

My most recent experience involved a sale item I purchased online--clearly marked down--but when I came in for an exchange, I was charged full price. No one caught the mistake. No one seemed to care. Now I'm stuck dealing with customer service, wasting more of my time, and going out of my way to return items--all because no one here has the empathy, common sense, or basic customer service skills to fix a simple transaction. The attitude in this store is as off-putting as the incompetence. You're not Hermes, You're not even close. And yet, the condescension is thick in the air. Eventually, this kind of disregard catches up with a brand. In due time, I fully expect to see this location shut down. Given the way it's being run, it would be a fitting end. This particular visit I was looking for a utensil set. I found one I liked with only 4 place settings, and they did not have a duplicate set. So I purchased, but then decided I wanted to go see what other stores in the area had available. I found a set that was 8 place settings at another store. So I went back, probably no more than 20 minutes after my purchase, to return the set I purchased. Waited patiently in the slow moving line. When it was my turn, I let the cashier know I just purchased and came back to return since I found a set at a different store. She said "okay, i have to check that everything is there." To reiterate how unopened this box was- she could barely open the box. But she still proceeded to open the box and get into the very very unopened packaging and tissue to check that every utensil was in the box. She opened to look and when she couldn't get a view, she took all the pieces (all still wrapped in tissue) out, and then was confused why there were only three utensils on some... I advised there were three front facing utensils on the packaging... But still kept going. Maybe I'm easily annoyed or offended, but honestly, the way she talked through checking all the pieces even after I let her know I had not opened it and purchased just a few minutes ago was overkill. She then said, "sorry, we have to show the cameras that we checked." But her style of checking was like she became suspicious at every step that I was returning an incomplete set, when ALL evidence pointed to the contrary. Including that she could hardly open the package herself and everything was still very clearly wrapped in tissue. I mean, I get it. We live in Fresno. Theft is abundant, but I did not appreciate the time or unnecessary energy this took.
