Overall, the experience felt very much like eating at a friend's home--comforting, unpretentious, and made with care. So I was super pumped to see a new spot pop up, Arepa serving up Latin cuisine! Right off the bat, I was greeted with a warm smile from the owner, who gave me some awesome menu suggestions. I went with the brisket bowl and no lie, it was bombtastic. That green sauce they drizzle on top? Straight up addicting. Flavor packed and totally satisfying. I need to go back and see what it was.
