The Azteca team is the best and they did such an incredible job. They were very patient with us from start to finish and walked us through the best options for the template and overall design to ensure our countertops were bookmarked and beautiful. The install was quick with no issues and they even made us a serving tray from the stove cutout. We couldn't be more thrilled! It is very hard not to brag about this company. Maks and his crew are extremely professional kind and patient. They did an amazing job with my little homemade project and turned it into a masterpiece. From straightening out my crooked carpentry to the finish of the job, they were amazing. I seen a kitchen that they did at a friend of ours home and it was absolutely beautiful and I knew they were the guys to do our job. And I am glad I picked them. read more

We were looking for a countertop fabricator for a new kitchen remodel with elongated island. Reached out to a few vendors and was impressed with Maks timely response. He has a great portfolio that we were able to view to gain a sense of the quality & details of his work and appreciate the different types of stone designs he has worked with. Maks provided excellent customer service with the onsite measurement/verifications, patience and knowledge in walking us through the process, providing a very reasonable pricing, and realistic timeline that he adhered to. We ended up going for Maks for the countertops for the three bathrooms as well. Maks and his team are very knowledgeable with down-to-earth attitude, has integrity, and efficient in fabricating, installing and sealing the stones for our house renovation. We will go with him again when we implement our backyard cooking / wet bar area. We highly recommend Maks and his team! Thank you Maks and team! read more

Working with Maks has been a dream. Communicative, thorough, fair pricing, super helpful, and overall just a great, kind person as well. He went above and beyond to make sure that we're fully equipped for our mostly DIY kitchen renovation and gave us feedback on the cabinet install along the way to make sure that the stone and backsplash would sit properly on the cabinets. His team did a fantastic job with fabrication of the cristallo quartzite, followed all our specs, and just made everything look so good while remaining flexible with some of the changes. Highly recommend Maks and his team. They are awesome! read more

Maks and the team did an amazing job on my kitchen and office countertops. They worked quickly, and carefully, and crafted gorgeous stone work! I will hire them for every project that i can think of! read more

I needed to have a quartz countertop fabricated for the 80" vanity in my master bathroom. My contractor recommended Azteca. I went to their stone works and found the perfect slab. The cost was very fair, much less when compared to the six other places I visited. When it was time for the installation, David came to my house to measure for a template. He returned within five days and installed the countertop (would have been four days except it was a holiday). It is absolutely perfect! I wanted an ogee edge and it was fabricated to perfection...the veins from the top to the edge match perfectly. It is gorgeous. I love buying from family-owned businesses and David is the greatest! Thank you, Azteca, your countertop makes my bathroom look like I paid a million bucks! Azteca is professional, efficient, friendly and I couldn't be happier with my countertop. read more

I wouldn't use anyone else! The Scope of work included a 12ftx15ft kitchen, including a 12ft long island, tile backsplash to ceiling, plus laundry countertop. Maks and his team did some of the best work that my contractor, my real estate agent and I have ever seen. They placed counters for a 12ft island with a seam that was unnoticeable. They beautifully finished where the backsplash meets the window sill with a window ledge. I cannot be more pleased. I wish they did the tile in the entire house! Their pricing was very reasonable and their quality of work was impeccable. read more

We got two kitchens done this year, one by them and one by another company. Their craftsmanship and prices are outstanding. I can get granite from anywhere I refuse to over pay. read more

A friend recommended Maks for my kitchen update. I contacted him and received an immediate response and a scheduled appointment to schedule a site visit within 72hrs. I told him what I wanted and he recommended several tile/stone stores to visit. The entire project from demolition to install was completed within 2wks. Maks was prompt, detailed, professional and knowledgeable. The estimate was itemized and outlined the process. Maks and his team completed the demolition with minimal disruption and debris by covering the floors and area. Maks has a vast network and provided additional resources for other projects I was considering. Often you hear horror stories about contractors, and being a stickler for details Maks ex exceeded my expectations. read more

We chipped our quartz countertop at the rim of the sink. David, the owner, called me back promptly and came out for the repair. He worked to match the color as well as possible, and I am so happy that the chip is now filled. Very reasonable pricing too. Thank you! read more

Excellent experience with this company. We went to Azteca and picked out a nice piece of Quartz for our kitchen but we needed two slabs for the job. David had the other piece the next day.David,Max and their crew did a great job all the way around with our order. Nothing in my 50 year old house is level or straight but they were able to deal with any challenges they came across. Even with the Holidays and COVID in the middle of the process we had no delays. We were also very pleased with the craftsmanship of the counter, the window sill and the table top they made for a very old small table stand. We are very pleased with our kitchen and would recommend Azteca for any type of stone work etc. read more

Got to say that these guys are AWESOME. Jorge was great to work with! Quality of job and speed was outstanding .

We procrastinated on getting a hearth for our fireplace and thought we wouldn't have it complete in time for Christmas. David and his crew saved us last minute with only a few weeks to spare. They delivered and installed a travertine hearth. He double checked the measurements and offered his professional advice on everything. He recommended doubling up the stone in the front to make it look thicker. He also informed me of my options to have the edges chiseled to create a more natural stone look. He also recommended to have the hearth wrap around the side of the fireplace to meet the wall to make the hearth look complete verses only stopping in front. Everything came together just in time for us to host Christmas with our family and show off our newly remodeled fireplace. I really appreciate the extra steps and advice that were given, we would've never thought to do or knew about these options if he didn't mention them. Great service. Thank you Azteca! Happy New Year! read more

I have been using Azteca for a couple years now, on several different projects. Wonderful customer service, with a very helpful staff. Welcomed as soon as you walk in, with someone always ready to give advice and help you pick out products with the general idea you have in mind. The owner, David Gutierrez always adds his knowledge of products and decisions making in the overall arrangement of the finished product. This is a family run business, as the owner introduced me to his son Maksymilian (who worked on my kitchen and staircase), his daughter, and nephew (worked on my kitchen and bathroom). There is a beautiful selection to look at and several options as far as textures, colors, and materials go. Ive definitely had my share of mainstream companies work on my house, but never received the quality and precise actions, and precautions the Azteca staff took when installing in my home. Promptly after order is submitted and received in the warehouse, staff got started on fabrication there and installation in my home. The end result of any projects done by Azteca is always gorgeous, clean, and unique. Since the first project they have done, I have had my entire staircase (done in marble), 3 complete ground up showers/bath, kitchen counter tops (granite), and bathroom vanity (marble) done by them. I would recommend this route for anyone who is looking to re-do, or vamp up any area of the house, or business. Obviously as for my repeated service goes, the quality of work that the Azteca staff always delivers has grasped me as a loyal customer from the first job they did, on out. Images of their work (in which some are of my kitchen and staircase) are on their Facebook page: Azteca Stoneworks read more

David & crew produced a granite counter top for our outdoor BBQ 3-4 years ago that we were very satisfied with. This past winter I noticed that the edge appeared to be falling off. I touched it and it did. Apparently the epoxy had failed. I was devastated because the one piece edge was now multiple pieces after hitting the ground. I called Azteca seeking a solution. David stopped by and said it could be fixed, making it "look like new". We set an appointment and he showed up with 3 of his crew. They went right to work spending 4 hours on it. The results were indeed as good as new. If I had not known about the problem, I would never have known it had been repaired, all using the original edge pieces. Amazing! I am impressed with David's interest in taking care of my tragedy and his crew's technical skills in making the repair. read more

David Gutierrez at Azteca Stone Works is a very skilled craftsman and he has the best of the best working for him. Azteca did the granite for our house four years ago and did such a beautiful job I had him do my mothers kitchen and two bathrooms, granite and tile. They are stunning. He can do anything in any stone or tile. David is the best of the best and he will work until the job is done and done right. read more

Azteca Stone Works, Inc. did a fabulous job on the remodel of our kitchen and 3 bathrooms. We purchased beautiful granite and stone directly through Azteca Stone Works, which was also installed beautifully by Azteca Stone Works, Inc. Everything looks amazing and custom! Azteca Stone Works, Inc. was the only bid we received that quoted our desires without compromising material and craftsmanship. Getting a reasonable bid and keeping within budget was extremely important to us, as a result, we cannot stress enough how refreshing it was to work with such an honest and reputable company. David Gutierrez, the owner, was so helpful that he actually acted as our contractor on the project, recommending sub contractors and material suppliers, while providing valuable advice from start to finish. He continually saved us when the "big box store" made huge mistakes and delayed work. We would not have been able to complete the project without him. He was extremely professional, returned calls immediately and personally checked on work each day. He never tried to wiggle out of contract work or over charge for additional work; he actually threw in custom touches. For example, he provided custom shower soap holders in the granite soap shelves. An example of quality and craftsmanship would be the lack of surface seams in the kitchen granite. David installed two full, large "L" shaped pieces without any seams; this is not typical for the same model in our neighborhood. Again, Azteca Stone Works, Inc. did a fabulous job on our remodel! David and his crew are exceptionally hard working, and timely. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond on our beautiful remodel; as a result, we would highly recommend Azteca Stone Works, Inc. to our friends and family. I am a repeat customer of Azteca Stones, they have done 2 kitchens for us and the last big project, 5 bathrooms, entry hallway and fireplace. Our bathrooms turned out beautiful! Jorge the project manager, is without a doubt the best installer in the Bay area, he takes pride on his work and won't rest until everything is perfect. Our project took over 3 months mainly because I was willing to wait for Jorge. For us, rating a business with a 5 stars is not just about the end result but also how the small problems that happen along the way were resolved and how determined David, the owner was to make sure that we were pleased and happy with the job. I will recommend Azteca Stones to anybody that is looking for quality work. read more

We had David repair a granite countertop broken by a tenant and he did a very good job. The work looks good. We would have given him 4 or maybe even 5 stars except for the following. On the 2nd day of calling, one of us actually spoke to him on the phone and he said that he would send us the receipt and lifetime warranty (for which we paid extra) later on that day. Unfortunately, they never were sent. After 4 more days of calling and emailing David daily, we were forced to conclude that we were just being ignored. We needed the receipt because we wanted to send an accounting of deductions to a security deposit to our tenant and wanted to include the receipt for the work. We called one last time and left a voice mail message to say that we regret that our numerous requests and emails were just ignored and that we would be writing a yelp review today. This would provide him with another 2.5 days to respond but we never heard from him. This is of course a disappointment as we would have been happy to refer his services to others but the lack of follow up forced us to conclude that we can't refer this company to anyone. We feel that getting back to customers in a timely manner is one of the most important requirements of running a good business and David has certainly not provided this service. read more
