I expected my kitchen cabinets to be a wreck after removing the 21 year old granite but to my surprise the cabinets were perfectly intact and honestly they barely needed repainting after demo. Not a large outdoor kitchen with multiple features like a gas grill, sink and refrigerator, but just a simple platform to support a Kamado Joe. The platform was in place; we just needed to choose the stone for the countertops and have it fabricated. From the moment I contacted Tony he was accommodating and completely understood what I was looking for. He even came to my house the next day and brought a few samples for me to look at, which I really appreciated. After seeing the size of our platform and the amount of stone we needed, he said our best option would be to try and use a remnant rather than select a full sized slab (which would cost more, be way more than we needed and leave us with a large leftover piece that we just don't have space for). Luckily for us, I really liked one of the samples he brought and he told me he believed he had several remnants of it in stock. So my husband and I took a trip to his shop and he was right. We found the perfect piece and size. As our backyard renovation was in progress, we were in a bit of a time crunch since our contractor needed the countertops to go in before they could continue with their work, but that was no problem for Tony and his crew. From my initial contact with Tony to the day of install, it only took two and a half weeks. Honestly, Tony's helpfulness and flexibility made this part of our renovation so much easier than I thought it would be. We ended up with a beautiful Quartzite countertop that was perfectly installed and for a very fair price.
