AMAZING WORK! From the time we first spoke with them to installation was perfect, easy and cost efficient! We had 5 quotes from installers in our area and Chido Stone beat out all the other 4 by thousands of dollars. I was so surprised when they gave us their quote as they were our last one. They had several slabs at their yard within the ballpark of what I was looking for but recommended we check out Arizona Tile in Livermore if I wanted to see more. I found exactly what I was looking for and ChidoStone picked it up that same exact day! They were punctual for installation, very efficient and got the job done amazing! I sought the services of Chidostone to have my kitchen countertops replaced with granite. I communicated with the owner Allan Orozco and indicated that I had selected a granite from Granite Expo in Pittsburg. I asked him to meet me there so I could be sure that I selected the appropriate sized pieces for my installation. He declined and after communication via text he assured me what I procured would suffice. Well, after picking up the granite countertops he indicated that they lacked the depth for the corner sink installation. Instead of informing me that the pre-cut slabs would not work which could have been returned without a 25% restocking fee and purchasing the uncut slabs he opted to use the pre-cut slabs. Needless to say there are large gaps and the sink area was not appropriately cut and lacks symmetry. I paid money expecting a quality service and I am sorely disappointed in the finished product. The appropriate response would have been for him to remove the shoddy installation and to replace the granite countertops. I am seriously contemplating taking this business to small claims court for refund of my money. This kid lacks the business acumen and has very poor communication skills. Don't waste your time and money like I did! He also insisted on cash payment which leads me to believe that he is under reporting his income for business purposes. I suggest that you take your business to a more professional and reputable company! read more

My experience with Chidostone started out wonderful. Chido was so nice and accommodating. We picked out our stone and then he required 50% down in cash. After missing a couple install dates the stone finally got installed. At first glance it looked great, I paid the balance and we shook hands. After getting a closer look, there were many issues with the quality of the work.There were overcuts on the corners, my beer tap wouldn't fit, inconsistencies in the chisel edge and they used my outdoor kitchen base to wipe excess epoxy off their fingers (just to name a few issues) I contacted Chido and he said he would be back to make sure the issues were fixed but missed our appointment. He promised he would fix his work but then failed to show again. After that he wouldn't return my calls or texts. Save yourself some grief and go with a reputable shop, these guys don't care after they are paid. read more

AT first, all went well. Chido was on time for our first meeting and very charming. After that, I had a very difficult time communicating with him. He was unresponsive. He also insisted on full payment prior to the job being done. I paid him half to get the granite and supplies, but he didn't start until I paid the rest. Normally, I would not have let him get by with this, but he was recommended by a very reputable tile company from whom I got the granite. He sent his son, Diego and his crew to do the work. The kitchen is ok, but they left a large screw exposed which was dangerous and I had to have my handyman saw off. There was difficulty with the bathroom. He came to look at the work as they were finishing, but did not mention the problems. When I finally got him back to see the problems, he said he would fix them. That was the last I heard from him, despite the fact that I had introduced him to two other potential clients in my condo complex! I also requested an itemized bill from him...never got one. I do not recommend him. read more
