I wanted brick pavers around my parkway and had a hard time getting anyone to follow up with a quote. Cesar came out, gave me a great price and started the job the next day. The crew worked really fast and did a great job. Thank You! read more

I hired Azteca to lay new brick pavers in our 400 SF patio, and new front step pavers, and I'm glad that I did. Julio's bid was the most competitive that I received. He and his team arrived for work each day at 7am, and completed the project on time and for our agreed upon price. They were meticulous in their work, taking the time to accurately measure every brick they laid. The patio and steps look great - thanks Julio! read more

I would not recommend this company. Normally I try not to write negative reviews, but I don't want anyone else to have a bad experience. The warranty is useless; they neither answer nor respond to calls. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. read more

Very friendly guys. Always available for questions and concerns. Work was completed quickly and on time. The finished product looks beautiful. Decently priced as well. read more

Azteca were great! We asked Julio and Cesar to demolish a deck, dig out old cement under the deck and walkway, and install new brick pavers as well as some river rock by the alley. The price they quoted us was very reasonable and competitive with other contractors. They were very informative during the initial meeting, helping us to understand the scope of the project, and they brought good design ideas that we hadn't thought of. Julio handled communication on our project, and he was responsive and proactive. They worked incredibly fast - they started the project a few days earlier than expected and finished in four days. The work crew at our house was very professional and hardworking. We are thrilled with the final project and enthusiastically recommend Azteca for all brick paving needs. read more

I got a backyard brick paver estimate from Azteca Brick Paving because we saw their office sign in our neighborhood. We like to work locally if possible, and they also had good online reviews. It was the busy summer season, so it took a bit for us to get a response and estimate. Once we got it, the estimate was competitive and they offered some ideas about design, porous vs. regular brick installation and subsequent project pricing. I liked dealing with a family-run business as well. They showed up as expected early on both days and completed our back yard in 1.5 days. They even added an arc cut that made the project look even better that wasn't in the original plan. read more

We had a patio with pavers completed in our backyard about 10 feet by 16 feet. They came out and completed the work in a day (even brought their own microwaves to warm up lunch!). The work and materials seem to be of excellent quality and the price was reasonable. I only gave 4 stars as it was a little chalangeling getting ahold of someone initially but once I finally spoke to someone I received an estimate and quote quickly. Would recommended to others and use again in the future if we have a need for more outside brick/paver work! read more

I previously had a great experience with Azteca when I first used them in 2015. I reached out to them for another similar scale project in summer 2016. NIGHTMARE! They strung me along for two months, never able to exactly nail down a date. They told me they'll come any day when the crew was available. I reached out 20+ times over the course of two months... with the vast majority of calls and text messages not returned. I finally got a text message that they won't be free for ANOTHER 2 months because a more important project came up. I had a frustrating experience and I would not recommend them. I ended up going with Green Lakes Landscaping Inc. and they started the work a few days later for the same price as Azteca. Azteca was busy and I get that. Just be honest and don't string me along for two months! That lacked common courtesy. read more

We wanted a small brick paver patio installed and were having a lot of trouble getting other companies to come out for an estimate, and/or get back to me with an estimate after coming out to look. I got the sense that other companies were not motivated/interested in a small job. Julio from Azteca showed up on time for the estimate appointment and was very helpful, giving us an estimate on the spot. We were having a party the following weekend, and Julio was able to squeeze our project in for the same week, which was great! Patio looks great and was ready just in time for the party. Price was less than a couple of other estimates, for the exact same brand/style of pavers. Very satisfied, would definitely recommend. read more

We are very happy with the brick driveway/patio that Azteca installed for us. They were great to work with, offered competitive pricing, and were very easy to communicate with before, during, and after the project. Julio is a great project manager and very responsive to questions, concerns, etc. They began the installation within a couple of weeks of the estimate and were done with the project within a couple of days. They also laid new sod in our yard that looks beautiful and is still as green as the day they laid it. I would definitely recommend working with Azteca! read more

Azteca installed a paver patio in our backyard. They gave a very fair price and the crew was pleasant, worked hard, & finished the job quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend! read more

Cesar and crew just did a fabulous job installing a new circular patio and walkways in our small back yard. The work was meticulous, with great effort given to long-term stability and life of the installation. Their attention to detail was extraordinary. The result is true artistry. Also, in preliminary meetings and changes in materials and project scope that we threw at them, Julio was responsive and kept us informed of everything we should consider...contrary to some of the reviews here. We are thrilled with the process, the work and the finished product. Plus they are really nice guys! read more

Thanks for your professionalism!!! I'm so glad to hire you for my backyard! My idea was made as I wanted! If you have some work of brick or paving, don't hesitate and call them! My next project new sidewalks! And of course I'm going to call them! If you want to see pics of their jobs, they also have a website :) aztecabrick.net, that was my first step then call them for estimate, and here I am, on my way to my second project with them :D read more

This is a great company. They have done a brick patio plus sod installation plus a bluestone walkway. They were amazing! They were quick, professional, friendly!! I highly recommend them. Call them for patio work, brick driveways, concrete work, walkways, porch work. They can do anything. We love them. read more

This company does very professional work. They leveled and relaid a brick front walk for me and were in and out in one day. I highly recommend them! read more

Azteca Brick Paving and Landscaping helped us with the design and installation of a Unilock patio in our backyard. Julio was our main contact and he was quick to return calls or reach out when a question or problem arose. Julio and Cesar came to our house a few times to talk about specific design challenges and options and they were both helpful to resolve everything to our satisfaction. Julio even met us at the Unilock warehouse and design center to work with us to pick out the specific brick styles and colors. Seeing the brick in the light of day made a huge difference, instead of choosing from a catalog, and Julio offered helpful ideas every step of the way. When it came time for the project, the Azteca team stuck to the agreed on schedule, kept a clean workplace, and we passed all the village inspections with no problem. We are satisfied and recommend Azteca for anyone considering a patio, driveway, or other brick project. read more

I called Azteca to get an estimate for a paver patio. From first call speaking to Julio to job completion was 5 days. Azteca gave a high quality job at a more than competitive price. Cesar, Julio and the entire crew were professional throughout the entire process. I would hire Azteca again and would recommend their services to all. read more

LIARS!! The owner (Cesar) and son (Julio) came out to my home several times and worked really hard at earning my business. They answered all my questions, replied to my phone calls promptly and made the experience seemingly positive. That is until after the installation process was over. It took a total of 4 days and after it was complete (roughly 2 months ago) and he was PAID, I began seeing problems with the bricks and the installation itself. Although the bricks (i.e. material) was not his direct fault, Cesar refused numerous times to even come out to the house to discuss the issues. First, he installed the bricks too high, which left a 1 inch GAP between my foundation (90 total linear feet) and the actual bricks. When it rains, the water sits in this GAP and the odor begins to enter my family room and bathroom (NOT a good smell). Also, there are several areas on the paver installation that are not slanted AWAY from the house, which has resulted in rain being collected in those areas. Also, Cesar used crappy sand and every time it rains, the sand leaves the space in between the bricks and there are big spaces in between. Also, Cesar did a terrible job of nailing in all the plastic edgers along the perimeter, which has resulted in the bricks moving. Instead of putting a heavy duty nail through each hole for ultimate support, he put a nail in every OTHER nail, which then makes the bricks more likely to move. Lastly, Cesar (operated the Bobcat machine) damaged a number of window ledges, an outlet and gutters along the perimeter of the house. Not once did he tell me he caused any of this damage. Thankfully, my wife was video taping the work and happened to catch him causing the damage. I should note that Cesar claims to be UNILOCK certified, but I have spoken to several people in UNILOCK that stated (Territory manager who came to my house and a sales manager via email) that he is NOT UNILOCK certified. False advertisement!! What I thought what would a positive experience turned out to be the WORST, and Cesar repeatedly changes his explanations and conversations in order to avoid having to do any work. I finally spoke with him and despite me being very patient, he continues to refuse to fix the problems (although I have a 5 year warranty on the work and labor), and he almost always HANGS UP the phone. DO NOT use this company when there are so many others out there. I have all of the pictures, text messages, emails and more to prove my points. Now I have been forced to take the next step in this process in order to have the damage corrected and at NO cost to me! read more

Azteca is the whole package: prompt, fast, fair-minded, smart and hard working! An all-around great job done in our back yard this week. We had to fire another contractor, and Azteca picked up the ball without skipping a beat! They answered all my questions, and came out within a few days to get the job done in (as promised) 1 and a half days. So happy that we got to work with them, and very happy with the workmanship. read more

We used Azteca Brick Paving for our school fundraiser. Azteca is very professional and did a fantastic job! WE really appreciated the great price due to this job was a fundraiser. Julio was great to work with! read more

Azteca to the rescue! After another company botched the stonework on our front porch stairs, we turned to Azteca to clean up the mess. Cesar and Julio are creative and responsive. They ripped out the stone that had been improperly put in place and laid in the right material with beautiful results. All along the way, they presented ideas to further improve the job, and carefully explained choices so we would end up with exactly what we wanted. It's clear the Azteca team takes as much pride as we do in making the entrance to our home inviting--and safe. They had a fair price, showed up when they said they would, worked quickly, and left the job site pristine. We highly recommend Azteca for any paving work. read more

Terrible! They came out for an estimate very quickly, the only good thing about them. That was at least 2 months ago and I have not received an estimate yet. I have tried to call then numerous times either no answer or the son Julio says they should have the estimate that week. Companies should not treat customers like that if you don't want the job say so and move along. Guess what Azteca in the long run I win, in the fact I did not hire you garbage company to do the job. read more

We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work that Cesar and his crew did for us. They created a curving flagstone path between our house and our neighbor's that was beautifully executed -- real craftsman quality -- along with a brick walkway and a small patio. Cesar was always responsive to our requests and took real pride in the finished product. We'd hire them again in a minute! Very highly recommended. read more

If it were possible to get into a time machine and NOT take that leap of faith I described in my earlier 2015 review, I would. If you are looking for quality, long-lasting brickwork, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!!! (...or at least realize that you are getting exactly what you pay for and will likely have to hire someone, as we did, to fix Azteca's mistakes). Azteca is great at luring in business, but truly horrible at following up to correct any mistakes (even ones that are allegedly guaranteed under warranty.) Once we paid in full and once they got us to write a Yelp review (which they specifically ASKED us to write, completely in violation of Yelp policy), they essentially disappeared. I called/texted Julio over a dozen times, getting from him a string of promises to come back to repair chipped and sinking pavers, to no avail. I tried again this year, and did not even get the courtesy of a reply. Brickwork and hardscaping is a big investment -- take your money elsewhere or you too will live to regret it. read more
