I them called Black Bird. They sent Fernando out to handle the issue. He found the problems and corrected them. It turns our that the problems were actually caused by the other company. In other words, the other company wanted to fix their own problem and rip us off. Needless to say, our new company going forward will be Black Bird and their wonderful employee, Fernando.

This review reflects my own personal opinions, but I do believe that it is completely accurate. The bottom line is that Fire Protection Group was absolutely TERRIBLE to work with. Prior to the job starting, I explained to the owner, George Saadian, that it was important to me to have the sprinkler heads aligned with the recessed lights. He wrote me back to confirm that he understood, and that it would be done. Yet when I notified George that his installers did not align the sprinkler heads properly (and even sent him photos to prove it), he refused to correct the errors. I ultimately had to pay another company to correct the locations of the heads, and when they came out, they also informed me that Fire Protection Group incorrectly used pvc piping outside (when it should have been copper). There were also a lot of fights between my general contractor and George Saadian, because George used every imaginable opportunity to try and charge extra for "change orders". Just like the other reviewer had indicated, it seemed like a complete "bait and switch" tactic where George lures you in with a low contract price, but then attempts to make up for it by hitting you with a series of change orders. If you don't sign the change orders, the threats start coming. I personally found this company and its owner to be HIGHLY UNETHICAL, and would advise all readers to look elsewhere. If you work with Fire Protection Group or George Saadian, you will likely regret it.

This isn't the type of job where shortcuts are acceptable, and Roger made that clear through how careful and thorough he was. He checked his work, explained what he was doing, and made sure everything was done correctly and safely. He was also very punctual and communicative no matter what time him and his team always kept me informed, which made a big difference. You always knew what was going on, and he stayed committed to finishing the job. What Stood out to me the most was his sense of responsibility.
