WOW! It makes the whole kitchen look like we remodeled. He went above and beyond to make sure tiles with 20+ different patterns never touched and did not show up near each other. I was living out of town, and Jon had agreed to complete the 2 day project and return to close my garage in my absence. Pictures and videos were shared. It looked beautiful, and I was eager to return back to AZ to see the results. And this was when Jon's true colors came out. Jon badgered me for DAYS, requesting that I share a 5 star review on social media, rating his "customer service". After his initial request and my reply stating that I need to see the product in person on my next visit back to AZ in 30 days, he became disgruntled because that wasn't good enough for him. He repeatedly texted me throughout the next few weeks, even after I promised him that I would share a review when I returned. After his 3rd text requesting a review, I didn't reply. But I did inquire about my salt water bin that he moved to the backyard and was in the hot baking AZ sun for 30 more days. And that's when he lost his mind! His response and actions thereafter were extremely unprofessional, pointing out that I didn't give him a 5-Star review, and stated that he was sending my text chain to his attorney for legal recourse. He texted that I should never contact him again. (Actually,I tried, once I returned to AZ and saw the floor in person) but no reply. I shared images of one area that was missing epoxy and wasn't shiny like the rest of the floor... all this was because I didn't give him a 5-star review within 24 hours of completion of the project. I now see why timing is of the essence! Had Jon not gone off the deep end and was professional about the transaction and actually understood what "customer service/satisfaction" is about, I would've given much higher stars. I actually love the color of my floors. My only concern is that they are very shiny and if wet, would be slippery. But I will have to see how that holds up with AZ rains. My Chicago polyaspartic flooring company sprinkled grit into the last layer so that there was some grip when you stepped on the snowy/rainy wet floor. I would recommend looking elsewhere for other services that would actually stand by their product & warranty, that values its customers, and wants to go the extra mile to rectify any blips along that way. Now THAT'S customer service that I would gladly leave a 5-star review for. Otherwise, test the theory of NOT leaving a review. Buyer beware! This is the last text (copy/paste) of what Jon sent to me. "You're clearly missing the point, I drive 100,000 miles a year. I recommend you read your invoice that I sent to you. If you think you do not have to comply by that invoice, I don't have any problem with us, presenting this to a judge or you can share why you are exempt to my attorney. I am glad everything is here on text because this is my proof and I've just submitted everything to my attorney. Have a wonderful day and please do not reach out to me ever again."

We discussed in detail the shape of the pad we wanted and how we wanted it to match our pool surrounding with the acrylic overcoating. Ben acted like it was an easy request and didn't voice or show any concern. He then gave us a quote of $800 - $1000 verbally. Said they would call to schedule his concrete guy to come out over the weekend or first of the next week. Never heard from him until 4 days later, when I received the quote which was several hundred dollars higher than the quote range he gave verbally in our yard. Against my better judgment, I trusted him and approved the portion of the quote I wanted to move forward with. I asked when the approved portion of the job could be done. I was told he needed to check with his concrete guy. A week later, on Nov 3, I finally get a text at 7:22pm stating they will be out the next morning at 9am. I wasn't asked if this time worked for me, which would have been appropriate based on how quickly they were coming. When Ben arrived at my house with the concrete guy, his demeanor was completely different. He would hardly look me in the eye, was rude, condescending and smirking. He was acting as if we hadn't even discussed the details of the project. We absolutely did so during his first visit when he was friendly, courteous and kind. The whole encounter was very strange based on the complete change in his attitude, behavior and demeaning treatment. In addition, Ben also acted as if our request for a rounded 7' X 5' pad was a much more difficult project than he had first indicated. The following day -November 4th, I received a text with and updated estimate. This estimate was over THREE TIMES the initial quote. I was shocked. We went from a quote range of $800-$1000 to a new price of over $3,000. I responded to him sharing my shock regarding this new quote. His response was completely inadequate and unacceptable. Luckily I had downloaded both quotes because as soon as I called him out on his dishonesty, he went into his system and deleted the quotes. Talk about red flag! He was knowingly trying to rip us off after initialy seeming so honest. He then went on to blame his concrete guy as if he himself had no idea how much concrete cost. Are you kidding me? What kind of business is this? CONCRETE is part of your business name and you're telling me you have no idea how much the concrete will cost for a small 7 X 5 pad? Wow. Shady. Be aware that your first quote from llustrious Concrete will be meaningless. Instead, save yourself from dealing with this guy and don't get a quote at all.
