We were here on vacation and urgently needed oxygen for my 95 year old mother. We spoke to Chris at 5:45 pm on a Friday night, 15 minutes before closing. He went out of his way to help us. The next morning, we picked up the oxygen from Randy at the E. Bell Rd. location. Randy was incredibly gracious and even offered to pick up the unit when we no longer needed it. This place is a life saver!!! I live on the west side but a friend told me to go here to find a rollator for my mom. As soon as I arrived, I felt at ease looking over the selection of mobility aides: rollators, walkers, wheelchairs... there is a great selection, pretty colors and name brands. With Taylor's help, we settled on a black and grey DRIVE rollator for my mom. While she wasn't there with me, Taylor asked all the right questions so I knew this would fit my mom. Taylor made an adjustment to the handles and we were set. I also purchased a raised toilet seat with handles( seriously... we all should be using one of these). It fit great on my mothers toilet, and her physical therapist approves!! Taylor is very nice and listens to you and your needs. i recently had spine surgery and rented a power lift chair for a month. The first one I rented was the generic one that didn't have adjustable positions. That one was very hard on my back. The company was very willing to replace it with one that has "Infinite Position Power Recliner". After 36 hours, my feet were so swollen because the legs weren't able to be raised enough. You can't individually adjust the legs and the back, so you can't into a comfortable position to relieve the pain. The company is willing to come pick it up early but with no willingness to compensate. I'm a little disappointed. read more

I have shopped at this store on two other occasions, both without any issues or problems, today was different. I went to the store to up size a CPAP mask from medium to large. I took my existing mask and head gear with me to help assure the correct fit. The sales person was helpful and a new mask was purchased. When I tried to use it, it was clear that the mask would not work as the attachment to the hose was incorrectly sized. The next day, I returned, with the new mask and my current gear. The young lady that was helping me, started to accept the return, but then asked for the manager's assistance. I was then told, by the manager, that it could not be returned, as the package had been opened and that there was a hair on the mask. Those two factors precluded her from being able to issue a refund. Her manner was very brusque. She then added that my head gear was from 'Simplus' and they do not sell that product at the store. I then explained that I had the headgear with me at the time of purchase and had made my needs clear to the sales clerk. She reemphasized that she could not take back a 'used' product that had been opened. I asked her how I could determine that it did not fit, if I did not open the sealed bag? Further, since I was sold a product that did not function as required, they should be obligated to correct their mistake by issuing a refund. 'Give him the refund', she said to the sales clerk as she quickly walked away. No apology, no further words came from her. In my opinion this was a very poor attitude, very unfriendly service and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

beware of AZ mediquip. My children bought me an electric wheelchair last summer. It worked fine for the first few months. I have never taken it outside. It only goes from my apartment to the dining room and back. I live in an assisted living facility. Seat wobbles, the foot rest squeaks but the worst thing about it are the big black rubbery lines that come all over my fake hardwood floor. I have called and called the store but have gotten no results. They told me it would cost $157 to change the wheels my son-in-law offered to pay that. When he went to order them, they raise the price to over $200 and said that it was only for the first two small front wheels. This is a switch and bait or bait and switch situation. I have been unable to reach the manager although I have left at least five messages. Want all six wheels changed or better yet a new chair I would advise you to stay away from this place it's a shame because it's close to home and both Taylor and Ariel the two people I spoke to were very nice and charming I give AZ mediquip two stars read more

I have had a great experience with Arizona MediQuip! They deal with high quality products, and with the exception of one person who I know is new, they have in-depth knowledge when talking to you about what they carry. Even the new employee did pretty well. You have to know ahead of time that they don't take Medicare and you will have to pay cash. That is how it works there. Medicare, of course can reimburse you for what you purchase, you just can't have them charge Medicare for the products. From grab handles for the shower to a new CPAP machine and necessary accruement's, everything has gone very well. read more

Hospital bed and wheelchair Did Not arrive as promised, for 102 yr. old mother arriving home after 5 days in hospital. My husband had removed her 'regular' bed from her room (stored mattress, box springs and disassembled bed frame), in anticipation of that delivery by 7 p.m. At 8:30 p.m., we called office ('afterhours person') to find out when it would come?? and were told driver had a long day and went home. Bed and wheelchair were rescheduled for the next day at noon. SOooo, my husband had to Re-set up bed in her room. After 3 uncomfortable hours for my mom, (waiting for delivery), we managed to get Mom back in re-set up bed (without help of wheelchair). The guy who came the next day with bed was nice, but office service wasn't very helpful. read more

When I called the Scottsdale location of AZ MediQuip to rent a hospital bed I specifically asked if the Trapeze bar, shown on the website, came with the rental of the bed. I was told that yes, it did come with the bed.This is the ONLY reason I rented with this company. When the bed arrived at my house there was no Trapeze bar. I called the store and spoke with the store manager who told me these bars do not come with the bed and are only for sale not for rent. She offered no explanation as to why the website is inaccurate and her staff is misinformed. She offered no assistance other than to tell me my husband should be fine with side bars. They never told her she only had 7 days from the day she got it and yes it's on the receipt but she's 83 with a broken right foot and can't drive and just moved here. I literally flew here to take care of her and my dad who's on dialysis. Both people in the store were so unfriendly it was terrible. Now all my mom wants is a phone call back from the owner and can't even get that. After I drove all the way there, they informed me they would charge me $300 per month rental for the loaner. They never told me about any cost when I called. Absolutely top notch service! We purchased a walker for my father about 4 months ago, and they even delivered it to the rehab where he was a patient. Fast forward to yesterday, where the walker broke in such a way that my father felt unsafe using it. I called to ask if confirm they wrote the insurance codes on the receipt, as many companies do, so that it could be submitted to insurance as an out of network expense. I had to ask this about 6 times in various ways before he even understood the question - he kept saying we don't do [bill] insurance, I kept saying this is so I (stressing strongly the I word) can send the receipt into insurance as out of network. He said nobody does this, I said many places do and he wanted to know who. I gave him a name (their web page) and he said we are a brick store we are not an internet store (I had to explain the other store was also). When I asked for a manager I was told he was one (he didn't introduce himself as such so I highly doubt it, it was a way to cha). They don't offer this service that many other companies do that is no bother on their end. That indicates their customer service will be a problem. Don't bother, lots of companies in town. read more

Just purchased a new CPAP machine at the Peoria store and love it. Last machine was about 10 years old so I was nervous about the new amazing technology. The Peoria staff was kind, friendly and patient and had to go over instructions with me--twice. Did I say patient, they all were welcoming and made it clear that contacting any time for answers to questions was what they were there for. My previous Valley supplier was a Medicare supplier and was just plain horrible. AZ MediQuip does not take Medicare but the change was worth every penny for both the selection of products and the actual instruction on using them. read more

I had a foot fusion exactly 4 weeks ago. I did not want to be in a wheelchair because I wanted to be mobile. I decided to purchase a knee scooter rather than rent one since the cost for 3 months rental on a knee scooter was almost the same as owning one. The process of dealing with AZ Mediquip was very easy and their customer service was very good. They were located in Scottsdale and I was in the West valley. They delivered the scooter the next day. I definitely recommend ordering the soft cover to rest your knee on. After 4 weeks one of my hand brakes had to be replaced. This was just an unfortunate incident. Not something that happens normally. I spoke with Mark, the owner, and he was very accommodating and had someone stop by the same day to adjust the brake. Unfortunately, I needed a new brake part which I would not have until the next day. Today, Grant showed up with his supervisor and my brake is in good working order. Grant was very pleasant and knowledgeable. All in all, this company and its employees are very customer service oriented. Very responsive to a person's needs. The good news is: They are opening a new store in Peoria!! It should be ready in September 2017. I highly recommend them. read more

A Spring Training vacation could have turned out very different if it weren't for AZ Mediquip! My 81 year old mother fractured her foot on the 2nd day of vacation and wasn't getting along well with crutches, so I looked up locations for wheel chair rentals for 1-week. Luckily the location was one exit away from the hotel we were staying and I went as soon as they opened on a Wednesday morning. Mark was amazingly helpful, got us exactly what we needed and I couldn't be more pleased!
